This is not a story about a hero.

Okay yes the main character of our story may do heroic things, saving people, stopping the bad guys, but in reality it was for selfish reasons. This is the story of a man trying to be better, so he can have an easier life later.

Life in the near future is not even close to what society believes it is. The world is wrecked and closing in on the point of no return. So the greatest minds of our planet came up with a solution. They are going to terraform Mars. I know right, the dream everyone from the 1960’s is finally happening. But it’s not.

The process is going to take around 300 years. The Earth's population can’t wait that long. So the great solution that was hatched? Cryo-sleep for all of the colonists. But there is a catch. Instead of spending all that time just dreaming. They designed a program. ARK is a learning program that all of the colonists will be uploaded into while they are waiting to go to their new planet.

ARK is a one of a kind program. It's not just going to download information into us and make us the perfect citizens. No, ARK is designed to make us better. It will push us past the human limits turning us into the best we can be. But there is another catch, ARK is also designed to remove unwanted elements from the new society. Racism, pedophilia, and countless other human problems will be weeded out during the process. Of course we all signed the waiver agreeing to this and anyone “weeded out" will just be vented into space.

Life is about to become very interesting for humanity. At least the survivors that is.
