Chapter 1: Day One of Middle School

Okay, so my first day of middle school went like this: I arrived in class before everyone else. I knew some people there, but mostly, I kept to myself. It wasn't because I was an introvert; I just didn't feel the need for a large group of friends. I did have a small circle—two girls and three guys, and that was it.

The two girls in my group always seemed to get into fights. We all sat in a line with our desks together—wait, I’m getting off track! Back to the girls: I usually sat next to the three guys in our friend group. They often insisted that I sit with them because they said, "We don't want to deal with girly fights," and told me to sit next to them because I could handle girls easily.

If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

Let’s give my friends some names (since I don’t want to reveal their real names). Female 1 will be called "Lia," and Female 2 will be "Mary." Now for the guys: Male 1 will be "Jack," Male 2 will be "Marcus," and the last one, Male 3, will be "Tye."

Now, back to the guys setting me up—oops, I meant to say they were just trying to have fun. Tye said, "Arion, let’s play rock-paper-scissors. Whoever loses has to sit next to Lia and Mary." The funny part is, Lia and Mary always arrived a little late—about five to six minutes before the bell rang.

So, Tye and I played, and I said okay.

Oh, looks like our time is over! See you! hahaha.
