Six Night opted to head for the rooftops, he skillfully leapt from wall to wall with speed and agility, and managed to jump aloft to gain a better view. From where he stood, all of the city was now visible. It was a well designed colony. The builders must have had strategy in mind when organizing the placement of key facilities, making sure they were surrounded and well protected by the outlying structures. Penetration to the AI central command was going to be no easy task. Even now as Six Night continued to fight the slew of dive-bombing drones and robotic foot solders, now joining him atop, his success rate was now questionable, at best.
The roofs on the buildings were exceedingly flat for the most part, the various air processors and communication dishes hindered the seamlessness of it, but created excellent obstacles to block some of the laser and projectiles launching at him. Six Night masterfully maneuvered across the building, like a skilled gymnast, he flipped, leapt, and jumped in great strides over to the next rooftop. All the while, he used his weapon during those feats, continuing to disable the onslaught of enemy trying to stop him. There was a moment when he used the attacking drones as stepping stones.
He would jump onto each, attack several others, and then move on to the next available one. The drones would try to anticipate his actions, moving out of the way, but Six Night was faster and countered their actions. The debris rained down as his destructive melee continued. The shattered remains of the robot bodies slammed on to the ground below in a fiery wreck, nearly missing those still fighting as it dropped from above. Grid Nine and Three Strikes navigated themselves around the carnage. They tried to plow their way through to the next street.
With a quick glance to each other, the two decided to fight as one, positioning themselves back to back, utilizing their combined fire power as a means to break through the onslaught of battle drones. This method was a rather unique, yet effective, bold strategy that the others weren’t likely to implement. Grid Nine and Three Strikes were deadly when paired together. They had created a fighting tactic that allowed them the most effective use of their skills, syncing their shots with precision and perfect timing. As one would shoot the furthest targets, the other would take on the closest enemy, and vice versa. It was like watching a violent, yet graceful ballet of fighting style, they were immeasurably accurate and precise.
As much as the throngs of combatants tried, they could not break this duo of their deadly stride. By the time they managed to create an opening, the horde of drones, were almost depleted. Grid Nine took note of the dwindling numbers immediately and motioned to his partner for their escape down the newly opened route. Three Strikes nodded and the two broke out of their combined stance and high-tailed it down the alley before then next wave of bots showed up.
Six Night, still battling the flying drones on the roof, observed his colleagues bolting away, and took the opportunity to join them on the street. He leapt off the roof in a back flip, spinning around with his gun still blazing, taking the rest of the targets along the way. He hit the street below in a crouched position, smacking to the ground like a meteorite. The impact of his landing left a sizeable crater. He stood up, unaffected by it, and ran down the same alley where Grid Nine and Three Strikes had gone. He gave a causal glance back, taking note of the foot soldiers and flying drones in hot pursuit, as they regrouped and locked on to them once more.

Falcon’s continued attempt to reconnect with his brigade was building a mild frustration within his circuits. There was defiantly something blocking them. The problem was, he didn’t know how, or what could possibly do this. Something wasn’t right about all this. Blue Man was the only one he could connect with, and even that was slightly muted as they gained some distance from each other. The closer they were, the better the signal was. It had to be this world’s artificial intelligence causing the block. Having previously read the file about it, the planetary AI’s algorithm was devoted to countering any sort of resistance, both militarily and from any kind of outside sources of communication.
Still, it didn’t seem possible it would know anything to the effect of this brigade’s link-up, it was never on any military file or made public in any form of outside media. Perhaps when, and if, they make it to the main hub of the AI, he could determine the how or what this came to be. For now, he and Blue Man remained busy shooting and slicing their way through the never-ending winding streets that lead to the central location.

Will rendezvous with group at sector zero-one-alpha-one, taking alternate route, heavy fire encountered. Attempting to lure enemy away and give the brigade a clear path to the main hub.
Falcon tried to respond back to him, but the connection severed immediately. JP was no doubt busy with his own survival, and was close by momentarily. Even now, he could hear the sound of the android’s powerful mini-laser gun, and multiple explosions going off as he took down some of the larger robots zeroing in on him. Blue Man was about to break away, hearing his comrade close by, but Falcon stopped him and pointed to their original heading. Blue Man hesitated, the thought to disobey Falcon came quickly, but then, vanished just as fast. The mission was important, Falcom was correct, there was no time to support the others. They had to stop the AI by all means necessary.
He eyed his sword in hand, giving it a tighter grip. He had to remember the code he swore by. Not the military one that was fed into his programming, but the other code. One that was given to him by his human trainer; a master of the martial arts, an elite swordsman and the deadliest assassin in the known galaxy. He gave Blue Man a sense of purpose, to become more than just some mere android killing machine. He was a warrior with honour, integrity, and now, a master of his own, carrying on the legacy bestowed onto him.
