In a mountainous region of unexplored Amazon, a group of 3 people is currently scaling a mountain wall.

The man in red hiking clothes is leading the group. He also appears to struggle scaling the rocky terrain.

His body is standard and a face that would not leave any lasting memory. Rather, he seems like a depressing person due to the aura he emit.

“Bass, are you sure that you found a cave around here?” The man all the way in the back who, looks like a supreme swimmer with perfect ratio physique, and is scaling the wall with ease, uncomfortably ask the leading man.

“I hate this heat here in the Amazon…”

The one in the middle snorted lightly and laugh. She is a woman who looks likes she is in her early 20s, with the tight hiking clothes, she appears very alluring.

“Oh please, Rick, you can run in a 500 yard dash in like 60 Celsius and you can’t even take a little heat? Don’t make me laugh…or I’ll fall.” She then stop paying any attention to Rick and carry on following Bass in the front who is still silent.

Rick who was in the back stopped, shrug and shake his head in helplessness, but continue to follow the two.

“One...two...mmm...yea I’m pretty sure it was around here.” Looking away from the cliff, Bass looked down towards the 600 meters drop.

“Yo Bass, don’t play man, I’m too beautiful to die here…” swiping he sweat off his forehead, Rick made a pitiful expression at Bass who is looking down at a vast amount of trees foliage.

“Tam, you see Bass? He is delusional after playing too many Open-World RPG games.” Lightly shouting Rick convince the woman who was in the middle.

Tam looked at the place where Bass is looking at and was also doubtful, but slowly looking to her left side, she said, “Rick am not a kid anymore, if Bass knew that there’s a mysterious cave here he obviously went there safely and saw it.”

“Young lady, as your brother I command you to convince Bass to not be an idiot, if he is doing what I think he is doing.”

“No promises, ok let me try…Bass let’s go back yea?”

The man in red who is staring intently at the foliage looked at Tam, and smile.

“Oh no that look, Tam let’s scale back and leave this mad man…”

Bass who is in the front was extremely excited because he found the marker that he left after he left the cave after scanning around the thick bushes of leaves.

“Ok guys, in front of us is a small hole that can fit 4 people side to side, if we jumped here and enter the hole, it will save us a lot of time.” Pointing a few feet away, Bass pointed at an unassuming spot.

Rick is a worry wart but when it comes to the two before him, he is willing to give his life to them, and they would do the same for him thus he had complete trust in Bass.

“Alright, after I jump, move to where am at and lightly jump there. There is a pond at the bottom so we won’t break anything.” Preparing himself, Bass hold his breath and jump just a few feet away from the cliff side.

The other two did not have any doubts thus they did as he asked.

“Splash...Splash...Splash…” three consecutive loud noises echoed within an eerie looking sinkhole like cave.

“Hah...Hah...Bass you lucky I’m alive, if I died earlier I would’ve Jiang you for the rest of your life.” Breathing heavily, Rick was not thrilled by this seemingly suicide like action.

This time Tam did not rebuke him instead she stare at Bass and shot him an aggrieved look.

Bass who already got out of the pond simply give the two a dumb smile, for he is in fact far too excited about showing his friends what he discovered in this cave.

“Ok guys follow me,” Bass lightly break a glow stick for lighting and walked towards a wall with 3 entrances, pointed towards the left one “I found gold and stuff further in that entrance. In the middle I found some paintings and in the third entrance, there is just a few altar like things with two coffin.”

Hearing that there is coffins, the two who just got out of the pond felt a chill going down their spine.

“Let’s go see the left entrance first and see if there’s anything good there.” Tam who also break a glow stick boldly walked towards the left entrance.

Seeing this the two male behind her looked at each other and shrug, then followed right behind her.

After a 5 minutes walk, the three walked in a room that is littered randomly with bones, metals, and oddly shaped rocks. It was a rather large room of 20 by 20 meters and is almost 10 meters high.

“Hey I’m saying this now, if we were to take anything, we‘ll be cursed and die in some horrible way.” Crossing his arm, Rick directly said this after seeing the faded gold chunks on the floor.

Tam kept quiet but Bass just walked in without feeling too much pressure, he took 6 gold chunks that are around the size of an infant’s fist here the last time he visited. That was 2 weeks ago, and during those 2 weeks he made a lot of money. He is still alive so he is not scared.

“Don’t worry I took the gold that I make a fortune out of from here.” Plainly stated by Bass as he picked up the largest chunk there, that is the size of an adult skull.

“Oh? No wonder why you are so rich these days.” Rick finally know why Bass kept how he became rich a secret.

“Tam can you keep this in your backpack? Mine is too full with the hooks and ropes.” Bass nonchalantly pass the large chunk of gold over to Tam.

She have a big smile on her face as she look at the gold. “That’s like 20 ELVY purses for me.”

Hearing this the two men sweated but lightly laughed.

“Guys just take as much gold as you can there’s nothing wrong with them, and to top it off they are pure too.” Bass give the brother/sister pair the go and just randomly walked around the room like cavern.

While the pair was picking the gold chunks and ignoring the bones, Bass saw in the corner of his eyes a round ball around the size of a tennis ball.

He knew from the last time he visited here, that the pictures in the middle entrances shows that the civilization during that period is extremely ancient. They don’t even use tools and only their bodies to hunt, so to find a ball so round that it looked like it was machine cut is extremely weird.

When he bent down to pick it up, Bass accidentally cut his index finger on a broken bone that cover this odd-looking rock, and spilled some blood on it.

Never would Bass imagined that within a few second of holding the rock, it shine a weird rainbow color and directly shot itself into his chest, disappearing completely.

The impact smash him directly on to a wall causing a collapse of rocks leading to his imminent demise.

“BASS!!!” Both Rick and Tam was too slow to react and too far away to do anything to help Bass, so they can only watch as he gets covered by a large pile of rocks in the corner of the room.

At this moment, the oddly shaped rock that shot itself into Bass’s chest became crystal clear like the perfect crystal and give out an intense rainbow glow.

The glow carry an unimaginable amount of power as it directly carry Bass’ soul back to the era of its origin and slowly it turn into a small black bead within his soul, losing all its power and lay dormant until it is needed again.
