Prologue

"I Have Deceived Them All."

"Now, my soldier, rise, take the life of the one who looks like you, or, as some would say, you appear to be. Become the original, not the Alternate."

"It's your time to shine, my child."

"Do not fear, I know you will succeed to do what you must do as of the time you fully awaken."

The alternate commonly referred to as Angelo Grym, finally awakens, and he knows what his duties are, he just isn't sure how he knows, he just does. His objective is simple; Kill the man also called Angelo Grym... There can only be one, and he plans to be that one. The only thing that stands in his way now is his appearance... he was almost completely human looking, his arms, legs, and left eye give him away. These details are easy to fix, for after all, clothing exists for a reason, and he can just style his hair to cover his eye.

After he covers up all his imperfections, he heads out to find his duplicate, to end him once and for all. He starts to wonder what the voice he heard was, but he soon figured it was his maker. He means, who else would it be? A dog? Probably not, since dogs can't talk. Well, talk like people do, anyways. He was dressed a lot like the other Ange, blue jeans, a white tank top, black combat boots, black work gloves, and a black leather jacket. All in all, he had made himself more presentable, more believable even. All was set, now, he can go out and do what he was meant to do, what he was made to do. He made sure his upper-back length hair covered his left black eye, and his more pasty pale skin was visible, rather than his blackened arms and legs. He finally went out, and when he got that first whiff of fresh air, he could recognize the scent of his target, so naturally, he followed it, leading him to a small apartment in a small part of town. For weeks, he watches his target, waiting for him to get to his weakest state, in order to end him in the most easy and efficient way possible to hopefully keep the mess he'll have to clean up later at a minimum. This was a hard thing to come across for sure. This man acted so mentally sound, until one way, he didn't, one day, he completely broke, and that was his queue to make his move, and fast. He got in as soon as he could and gutted the poor soul... well, he wasn't poor, he was an imposter, a fake, and he was meant to die a painful death, a death he'll live through over and over again until he finally stayed dead in the afterlife. He ate this man's organs, enjoying every bite, having finally gotten a good meal in, a meal he'll never forget in his lifetime, however long that is.
