The Following Is a Catalog of Anomalous Things
Categorized for Your Convenience
Level 0: By now, you already have access to these things. Do not lose them. They are paramount to your survival.
Level 1: These are the first things that you should acquire. They are not as important to your continued survival as are other items in this list, but they are essential to bringing an end to the cloud.
Level 2: For use after you have brought about the end of the world. You will need the power to reshape others’ souls as well as your own.
Level 3: Finally, after you are supposedly dead, you will need these things to grow and thrive. I do not know how things will turn out from here. I can not see into the next reality, and I fear that I never will.
Jayden and Khalid (E021)
Level 2
Jayden and Khalid are the two individuals that you will find in the red box (E009). Unfortunately, I do not know much about them. I know that their souls are much older than my own. I know that they are powerful individuals – I am aware that you will kill Khalid – I am aware that Jayden will kill you. Well, you will live. Everyone will believe that you are dead, or that you have been reduced to nothing more than a phantom. They will be mistaken. You will be much greater than that.
There are a few things that you ought to look out for, though. Jayden is the man: he has pale skin and green lips. His flesh is poisonous to the soul. This is why a physical soul and a coat of ceramic are absolutely necessary. You can not let him touch you; he needs to be killed. He will bring with him a thin sword. Of course, this is the sword of Khalid (E011). Though it can hurt you, do not be afraid. Khalid is not the one who jeopardizes our continued renewal.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
That would be Jayden. She is a nuisance. She will be a thorn in your side. She has physical power – nothing more – nothing less. You can not hurt her, but she can not hurt you without the right preparation. Let her believe that you are dead. Consume the sword of Khalid. Find a way to claim her soul as your own. I can not help you through that. For that I apologize, but I do hope that this warning will be serviceable.
Frogs, Scorpions, and Turtles (E022)
Level 2
I will not dilly-dally. Frogs, scorpions, and turtles have only one anomalous property that you ought to be aware of. Their blood is exceptionally effective when it comes to stabilizing the spirit of evolution. I recommend that you gather a great deal of them if you want to mass produce the stuff.
The Coat Rack (E023)
Do Not Engage
Please do not engage with the coat rack in Gary’s home. Leave it alone. I have seen futures – I have seen futures that end badly for us. As far as I am aware, the rack is not anomalous in any form. It is just a cause for grief. Please, do not interact with Gary’s coat rack.
The Brass Knuckles and The Black Box (E024)
Level 1
After my inevitable death, my traitorous subordinate, Muriel, will create an anomalous pair of brass knuckles as well as a strange black box. I do not resent her for her betrayal. I understand – I have done things which I regret. I need you to do one more regrettable thing. Thereon out, everything you do will be perfectly digestible.
In the aftermath of my demise, two of Muriel’s colleagues will be killed. As a result, Muriel will create two devices for them: a pair of brass knuckles and a black box, that will guarantee them a safe rebirth. After the world comes to an end, you are to take them for yourself. In the unlikely event of your death, I want you to have this insurance of sorts. Take them – guarantee yourself a safe rebirth.
Deagonland (E025)
Level 2
Deagonland is a small society that lives within the cloud. It is made of the many dead Deagons whose bodies have been inherited by the soul of Deagon! It’s a wonderful thing, really. In some dark corner of the cloud, there is a metal arch which reads “Deagonland.” If you were to wander further, you would find a community of Deagons! All the same man, duplicated fiftyfold.
I do not recommend that you engage with them prematurely. At least, I want you to know that they are there. Once you claim the cloud’s soul as your own, you will have access to the powers of Deagon by virtue of containing Deagonland within your own soul. It really is a wondrous thing, Aggie.
