Leo is a 14-year-old adolescent with straight, thin, jet-black hair. He has bright deep green eyes with some golden highlights and vivid blood red lips. A small, thin nose is perfectly visible in the center of his face. An average body with pale skin, large hands with long fingers. His hands have a light copper tan.
He wears blue cloth pants with a tear at the left knee, a pale blue shirt with a heavy scent of coal and fish and a pair of hemp boots covered with sand and mud.
Born to an unknown mother and a workaholic, alcoholic father, his childhood was lonely and a little sad. He has no friends, no pets. Fortunately, he has a book, a really old book, given to him by an old witch. A witch who taught him to read and write during her stay in the village five winters ago.
He has a dream, a wish: he wants to become one of the world's greatest mage, a mage comparable to those of the legends. But to do so, he must attend the Royal Academy of Satlatam in a year's time. But first, he must first forge his soul core.
----------------------------------------
> Three steps:
>
>
> - To forge a soul core, you must enter your soul and condense all the mana you have with your will.
>
> - Then merge your deepest desire into this dense mana object.
>
> - Finally, swear your oath to follow your path and become your own self.
Introduction to souls, knowledge of the world - H. of Silverinterr, the hallow wizard
"I must admit that this book is a bit cryptic, but I have no other information on how to forge a soul core," Leo muttered.
He sat down, crossed his legs and began to meditate. Five minutes later, he was standing in the middle of a vast plain of vibrant grass with some iridescent six-heptagonal-petal flowers and ocean-blue eleven-petal flowers. In the background was a huge old oak tree with lush foliage. The bright azure sky was cloudless and shimmered with a mixture of silver and gold droplets. There was no sun in the sky. This breathtaking scenery was the "world" in his soul, the world in which he would forge his soul core.

He took all the mana stored in his soul and began to direct it all to the center. When all the mana reached the center, he started to compress the sphere of magic energy. He infused his dream, his will to become a mage, everything he wanted to do after becoming the greatest mage of the world.
He prayed to all the gods whose names he knew, good and evil without distinction. He wanted power, he wanted fame, he dreamed of becoming a lynchpin of society. He projected himself into the role of the court mage of the kingdom. He wanted to forge his own legend.
He tried and failed to forge his soul core.So he tries again. And again, and again, and again... After three days with only four breaks, and thirteen attempts, he finally succeeds. He was now exhausted.
"I never thought it would be so hard," he sighed. And yet he had to find out what his affinity was.
----------------------------------------
2 days later, after some sleep.
"I can't discover my affinity right now, i don't have the required item," Leo said as he flipped through the pages of his only book.
As he flipped the book between his hands, the name of one chapter, "The Difference between Levels and Ranks of Soul Cores" caught his eye.
> The Difference between Levels and Ranks of Soul Cores
>
>
>
> Ranks and Levels are two important concepts.
>
>
> The ranks define how many affinities you can wield and the quantity of mana you can store.
>
> The levels define how advanced you are in your current rank. Each rank is divided in ten levels, from Level 1 to Level 10.
>
>
> The ranks are: Basic - Intermediate - Advanced (- ?)
>
> There are ranks beyond Advanced, but there are rarely reached so i don't list them.

Interesting, he thought.
> Higher is your soul core rank, more powerful you become.
>
>
> During my research i read that:
>
> Godhood or Status of God is a stage of power hidden in a combination of feats, high rank of the soul core and knowledge beyond the greatest "mortal" mage's thinking
>
> Godhood also need some impressive physical capabilities, but nobody know the true requirements of this part
>
> - An unknown mage of the age of myths, on a wall in some really old ruins.
>
> If these details are true, which is possible, what is the highest rank a soul core can reach?

"The highest rank?" Leo asked in a low voice.
Leo read until noon. And then he goes hunting to replenish the food supply.
Leo currently lived in a small, damaged, and weathered wooden house with his almost invisible and almost always absent father. A house in a village surrounded by a rather dense forest of oaks and cypresses with some sparse sand birches. The sand birches are a rare species of birch, naturally imbued with sand magic, and host some species of seabirds during the winter.
The village of Sanorddiala in the south of the kingdom of Satlatam.
