Volume 4: An Unexpected Hinderance

Once a sleepy village set between the foothills of the Lithos mountains, the rise to prominence of the Argonian Empire and the Divine family’s support of the Great Road that now sprawls across the country like the silk nest of the vopyks facilitated an almost rapid expansion of industry in Tekheiria. Situated between the prosperous, metal rich mountains to the northwest and the capital city of Argonia to the east, Tekheiria adopted and fostered a great knowledge of metalworking. Within a few years, Divine family recognized their prowess in the arts and endowed them with the majority production of the capital’s metalworks and munitions, which served to dramatically increase the area’s importance to the Empire. As a result of these shifts, Tekheiria is now the home to some of the wealthiest citizens in all of the Argonian Empire.
