Chapter 11 - Horrible wind and Strong lighting

Zander shouted, “Expand!” as his sword grew larger and slightly longer. With all his strength, he swung it at Aerolios, but the god of weather dodged effortlessly, using his wings to evade the blow.

In response, Aerolios flung a set of daggers toward Zander—this time, they were engulfed in flames.

“Fire daggers?” Zander thought quickly. Without hesitation, he adjusted his sword’s size, making it thicker to shield against the incoming attack. The fiery daggers struck the sword, but the reinforced blade blocked them with ease.

Leo charged at Aerolios, swinging his massive sword in a flurry of strikes. Aerolios dodged each swing with graceful precision, then retaliated with two swift punches to Leo's jaw, knocking him back.

The god of weather flew up into the sky, creating distance between them.

In a burst of frustration, Leo slammed his feet into the ground, causing the earth beneath him to crack and rise into chunks of rock. With a roar, he hurled the massive stones at Aerolios, determined to bring him down from the sky.

Aerolios weaved through the flying rocks with ease, but the distraction gave Leo just enough time to launch a surprise attack.

Before Aerolios could react, Leo appeared right beside him, delivering a powerful punch that sent the god crashing down to the earth.

"How did—" Aerolios began to say, stunned by the sudden strike as he tumbled toward the ground, the impact shaking the terrain below.

"He was able to hit me... Did he use the stones as a platform?" Aerolios thought, still reeling from the blow. His sharp eyes flicked to Zander. "And that gray boy can enlarge his sword. This battle isn't as simple as I thought."

Aerolios' gaze narrowed, resolve surging within him. "I should use one of my elements... it's time to change the course of this fight."

Leo landed firmly on the ground. "Zander! We should focus on attacking him together."

"Or with many," Zander responded, a sly grin spreading across his face as he summoned 50 clones, with his sword.

Zander and Leo charged at Aerolios, flanked by their army of clones. But the moment Aerolios took to the sky, they quickly adapted their strategy.

“All clones, expand your swords!” Zander commanded. In perfect unison, each clone, along with Zander, willed their weapons to grow larger, aiming them downward at Aerolios.

each clone poised to swing and strike Aerolios. But the wind began to shift violently, signaling the god's impending counterattack.

With a swift motion, Aerolios spread his wings wide and unleashed a powerful gust, sending all the clones—including Zander—hurtling back. They hit the ground with a thud, their forms vanishing into thin air as they were dismissed. Zander grunted in pain as he landed, struggling to regain his footing while the remnants of the storm swirled around him.

“It was just sunny... Now he’s changed the weather,” Zander thought, struggling to stay upright as the winds whipped around him. He planted his sword into the ground for balance, while Leo stood firm, his weight grounding him against the storm. The sky was as dark as obsidian, casting an ominous shadow over the field. The swirling clouds crackled with electricity, intensifying in the air

“Zander, we can’t let him overwhelm us! We need to regroup and strike back!” Leo shouted, determination etched on his face.

While Leo spoke, Aerolios summoned a massive lightning bolt and hurled it toward him. The strike hit, causing Leo to stagger back, injured but still standing.

“Hmph... He could have died,” Aerolios thought, observing the scene. “But it seems he managed to lessen the damage with his massive sword. He attempted to redirect the bolt, so only a chunk of it hit him, not the full force.”

“Leo!” Zander shouted, his voice cutting through the tension.

Aerolios paused the storm, allowing the dark clouds to dissipate, and dropped down to their level. Leo, still hurting but fueled by determination, charged at Aerolios again, though his movements were sluggish and slow.

Aerolios effortlessly dodged each of Leo's attacks with precision, drawing his daggers to counter. Each slice left Leo with deep, painful cuts, the relentless assault taking its toll on the injured tiger. With a swift kick, Aerolios sent Leo sprawling to the ground, struggling to rise.

As Leo fought to regain his footing, Aerolios raised his daggers, ready to execute him. “You could never defeat me. Tell your mother to save a seat for me in hell,” he taunted.

But just as Aerolios was about to strike, Zander surged forward, his sword slicing through the air and severing Aerolios' right arm.

Aerolios jumped back, clutching his severed arm, fury etched across his face. “You bastard!” he spat, his voice a mix of disbelief and rage. The clouds churned ominously overhead, casting an eerie shadow across the field. “Fight me! I will end you!” Zander shouted.
