karsytamu

Karsytamu dashed through the castle of wizardry. He clutched the casket of draconic might. He could sense the wizard apprentices coming to capture him. There was only one way out and the apprentices knew it. Karsytamu was almost to the door when he blasted the door with his infernal fire breath granted to him by his draconic heritage. The door was burned to ashes as Karsytamu ran frantically  through the doorway. There was no time to look for a better escape option as Karsytamu leaped over the battlements onto the ground. Karsytamu saw the casket glowing with raw power. The casket slipped from Karsytamu’s talons. Karsytamu’s mission was failed and he was going to die. Suddenly the casket opened and a dragon fang necklace fell out. Karsytamu clawed for the necklace and put it on. Karsytamu screamed as his shoulders teared apart and wing-like appendages burst out of his ravaged shoulders with draconic savagery. New strength pulsed in Karsytamu’s body.   Karsytamu felt like he would live as he fell towards the ground. Karsytamu landed, unhurt, and smashed a tower with his new dragon  strength. Suddenly,Karsytamu felt his scales burning. Karsytamu pulled at the necklace. It had somehow connected with him. It had melted his scales and stuck to them.

“ARRRRRG”. Roared Karsytamu in agony, but to his horror it was stuck. The Draconic necklace had somehow connected to him.

Karsytamu, in pain, gave the castle one last look and torched it.  Karsytamu used his newfound draconic wings after some trial and error to fly back to the cramped cave in the mountains that he knew as his home. He fell asleep as soon as he was in his nest. Karsytamu had a strange dream that night. Wraiths that called themselves Har-Mon-Rathians. They pillaged towns. They killed a mysteries warrior named Lord Pi-Fi-Du. And Karsytamu was king of the land of Ja-Pa-Ka!  Then Karsytamu woke up. He was scared. He felt like something dangerous was out there, hunting him. Out of the blue a volley of plasma tipped arrows flew at Karsytamu. But Karsytamu was to fast. He dove at the ground and  swiped his claw to knock the arrows from the air. Three people dressed in black cloaks marched into  Karsytamu’s cave. The people all held glowing blue bows.

“Surrender in the name of the Shadowhunters!” Growled one of the Shadowhunters.

“Never!”  Karsytamu roared maliciously.

The Shadowhunters advanced on Karsytamu. Karsytamu crouched, ready to pounce. The Shadowhunters were almost in Karsytamu’s range.

“There he is!” Exclaimed one of the Shadowhunters.

“Get him boys!” Called another Shadowhunter.

Karsytamu roared as he leaped. He landed on a shadowhunter and flung it at the wall. Karsytamu lunged at the second shadowhunter and ripped its guts out. Karsytamu tore the last Shadowhunter’s head clean off and gulped it down. Why did I not sense them until they fired  a volley of arrows? Thought Karsytamu. Karsytamu paced up and down his cave and contemplated what happened.

Karsytamu growled “It’s not safe here anymore.”

Karsytamu put his armour on and gathered his belongings. Karsytamu left the cave he had lived in since he was a hatchling. Before he left he engraved the symbol of the dragon flight.

Karsytamu spread his wings and soared into the sky. He flew over crystal lakes and emerald fields. Karsytamu swooped lower and nearly was shot out of the sky by a Shadowhunter

“Shite”  Karsytamu roared.

Karsytamu  flew higher from that point on. Karsytamu spotted a tunnel in a mountain. Karsytamu tucked in his wings  and  sped into the tunnel. The tunnel glowed faint blue. It was eerily quiet. Karsytamu sensed magical energy flowing through the tunnel. Karsytamu unsheathed his sword and stocked down the tunnel. The tunnel was blocked off by a bolder.

“Shucks” Karsytamu whispered.

Karsytamu slid the bolder just enough to see what was on the other side. What he saw made him livid. A giant stone ring was in the middle of the cave. Karsytamu felt the ring emanating magic. He saw the cave flash blue and a bronze warrior stepped out of the ring.

“It’s a titan spawn!” Karsytamu exclaimed.

He flung the bolder aside and charged at the titan spawn and he heard a clatter. The room was full of titan spawns. The ring was a portal Karsytamu realized, he was trapped and surrounded. The spawns chanted. Karsytamu tensed. He used one wing to knock a spawn into the portal and the cave flashed blue. The spawn was gone. Karsytamu lunged at the portal, smashed it and sent stone everywhere. The spawns charged. They sliced at Karsytamu.

“Can’t catch me!” Taunted Karsytamu.

Then he drew his sword and hacked at them. Karsytamu grabbed a piece of the portal. He blew flame on the rock and threw it.

“Take that scum!” Taunted Karsytamu.

He ran out of the cave with seconds to spare. He flew into the sky as the cave exploded.

“Old trick works every time.” Karsytamu laughed to himself. The sky suddenly darkened. Black clouds rolled over the sky. Then Karsytamu saw it. It was long and  rotted. Jumbo mega maggots crawled over it. The beast had black and grey cracked skin. It had reaching arms and a gaping mouth the size of a giga whale. It had a long spiked tail and perfect wings. There was a flash of lightning and Karsytamu saw it fully.

“OH WRAITH HEARTS! Karsytamu yelled “IT’S A SPECTATOR!

Fear rushed throughout Karsytamu’s veins. He was not strong enough to fight a spectator.

“Karsytamu.”  Whispered a voice in Karsytamu’s head. “You are nothing, why don’t you just give up?”

“No” Karsytamu roared with fury! I will never give up,NEVER!

“Go for its weak spots Karsytamu!” Another voice in Karsytamu’s head chimed in.

An image of a scroll flashed through Karsytamu’s mind.

Karsytamu spiraled through the air, sword outstretched. He  tore through the spectator’s wings like scissors through paper.

“Pathetic Karsytamu”  the first voice leered.

Karsytamu was enraged! He Stabbed through the spector’s eyes with his claws . The spectator writhed in pain. It thrashed about, sending jumbo mega maggots everywhere. The spectator roared in agony. A crack of lightning illuminated Karsytamu, as he plunged his sword deep into the spectator’s chest. It dropped from the sky, spinning like a top. It tried desperately to stay in the air. With the spectators shredded wings and it's fading life, it couldn’t fly. It plummeted to the ground.

“Victory is mine,” declared Karsytamu.
