Chara finds himself in a dark forest chased by shadows, They are not quite human, but he can't tell what they might be. He's running through the woods, stumbling over roots and rocks as his pursuers close in on him. His heart is pounding so hard it feels like it will burst from his chest.

They're getting closer.

He stops for a moment to catch his breath, then looks back into the trees behind him. The shadows have stopped too, still ten paces away, watching him with those cold eyes of theirs.

Then they move again, closing in on him. Chara doesn't know why, but something about them makes him want to run even faster. He hears their footfalls growing louder and faster until they sound like thunder.

Chara then decides to do something drastic, to avoid being chased he uses an experimental magic that could also destroy the entire forest.

A fireblast bursts forth from his hand and flies towards the shadows. It explodes against a tree, showering the surrounding area with burning embers. But the fire isn't enough to stop them, and they continue closing in on him.

Then Chara decides to climb a tree and try a spell to teleport to the nearest town, the town of Roskov. If he's quick, he might make it before they catch up.

As he climbs, the shadows follow. Then one of them leaps at him. Chara barely has time to turn around when the shadow lands on top of him.

Chara then decides to use his scroll which allows him to cast a spell that freezes the entire forest.

The shadows freeze solid, and fall down onto the ground where they shatter into pieces. As soon as the spell ends, Chara teleports out of the frozen forest.
