Chapter 1: Waking up

As jack and Jeff felt the sunshine burning on their eyelids, they slowly opened them to find themselves laying in a grassfield unbeknownst to them.

This wasn't the first and perhaps not the last time , They woke up somewhere unfamiliar after a heavy night of drinking.

However as they looked at eachother, they both realized this place felt totally alien to them, " other worldy " even

Still being unfazed by their current situation.

They both got up, Jack started stretching and look around him, Jeff on the other hand,let out a big sigh and said,

"Oooh Jack.. where did we get ourselves into this time?"

Jack replied with a " Brazen and intrigued smile on his face " , "Hopefully some place exciting"

Im glad you're feeling okay, My head hurts so much it feels like i have been hit by a truck.

Well, you know the drill let's look around and see if we can orientate ourselves            

As they were walking for a bit, they stumbled upon a village, with the kind of buildings they had never seen before

Uhh Jeff, Doesn't this city look a bit strange to you? the houses look very old and different

Jeff replied with a startled face, yeah.. nothing i have ever seen before. Let's take a closer look, i can  see some poeple in the distance.

As they got closer and closer, they noticed the poeple were wearing very different clothing.

Jeff told Jack, Let's observe from a distance for a bit before we show ourselves. 

As Jack was watching the poeple go about their daily life, the only logical conclusion was that he could think of, was of an event he once read about.

Hey Jeff, Could this be one of those cosplay things some poeple are into, but then on a super large scale, i bet there's poeple crazy and rich enough to do it.

Are you trying to say, a bunch of poeple build a whole city with primitive houses, wandering around in old and dirty clothes, and from what i can see, farm their own food, just like in the primitive age.

Instead of living a luxury lifestyle with supermarkets, cars, modern houses, and everything else we got going?

Yeahh.. i can see that happening

Anyways, let's go into the city with an open mind and gather some more information

As they were walking into the city, they got a lot of strange looks , and they could hear poeple mumbling, while looking at the 2 gentlemen, one of them wearing a red suit. and the other with a blazer, black tie and a watch

They both decided to keep walking and go into some of the buildings to find some clue's as to what was going on, even though they found themselves in a strange scenario, they kept their cools. this might be due to their extensive experience in ending up in strange places and situations

As they were wandering around, Jack's eye fell upon a building that looked like it was selling clothing.

Let's take a look he said to Jeff, and whatever happens. just improvise like we always do

As the 2 man entered the store, they saw that all the clothing for sale was the same as the poeple wearing it in the city

Jeff said, we should buy some so we won't stick out anymore, but i have the feeling our paper money and creditcards isn't going to get us anywhere

While they were discussing on how to obtain some clothes

They could feel the glaring stare of the shopkeeper upon them, and so the man behind the counter said, you 2 gentlemen must be from out of town, you look.. uhhh very different than my usual customers.

This was the first time someone talked to them, However Jack  still had in mind this could be some cosplay thing, so he thought it would be best to go with the flow.

After look towards Jeff for a second, Jack replied, Ahh yes, Good eye sir, we come from another town, but to be honest we are kinda lost, it's a bit embarassing  " he said with a slight chuckle " but we had too much to drink last night and ended up near this town, could you tell us where we are?

The shopkeeper let out a big laugh,And said, that must have been a fun and rough night, Good news though, the 2 of you ended up in the most fun village of the Shrine nation, i welcome you to Amasaky!

Thank you they replied in unison

They noticed he was unable to keep their eye's of them, especially their clothes, as they came closer to the man. it was very obvious he was extremely interested in their clothing, this was confirmed by what he said next.

In my 40 years of being in this line of work,  i never seen that of kind fabric and style before in this town, Could it be that i have been blessed with the precense of royalty? " he asked nervously "

This reaction dumbfounded Jack and Jeff, but without much of a delay , Jeff replied, ahh if only haha, sadly we are just 2 common man, however we really like the clothing that you are selling, We would like to purchase some, but we seem to have lost most of our stuff during the night...

How about a trade the shopkeeper asked, The 2 of you can pick anything you want from my store, in exchange for your clothes, and to make the trade fair, i can offer you 10 gold coins on top of it " he said with a big grin on his face " 

Give us a moment to talk it over Jeff replied, they took some distance from the man.

10 gold coins eh? u reckon that's a lot in this place Jack asked Jeff, He replied , we don't have any way of knowing but i think we should counter it to catch some kind of reaction, and that would give us a clue.

Yeah i like that, let me take care of that Jack replied.

We thank you for your offer, We would be open for a trade, how does this sound, we trade clothes, an extra 15 gold , and lastly a map of this village, so we can find our ways " he said with full confidence " that sounds fair to us.

Within a moment's notice the shopkeeper agree'd upon the terms, and so Jack and Jeff knew , they did not get a good bargain that day..

After some searching they picked out their clothes and went on their way into the village.

Well were for 2 for 2 right now Jack said, we managed to bland in and we have a map, and i know just right spot to go next Jeff, hear me out, we go to the bar that's 3 streets away. we buy poeple drinks, get them drunk, get us drunk, anything weird we say will be dismisssed and laughed off.

and we can get away with asking dumb questions, in order to learn more about this place, and to top it off we find out how much u can buy with 15 gold coins,  What do you think? " he said with a smirk " 

Don't act like u don't know the answer to that, u just combined 2 things i like, drinks and information ofcourse i couldn't say no to that, Let's go!
