An automated message to answer some of the confusion. “What am I? Dungeon Core.” “What is this? The world”. Two answers, two new concepts to deal with. The first, in particular, awakens something in the small blue creature. Memories it hasn’t had, ideas it hasn’t thought, and an instruction it has never heard, dig, grow; birth, eat. And so, it digs. From being completely incased in dirt, silt, clay, and sand a small pocket around the gem begins to form. And as the instinctual joy of growing sets in, the creature remembers its’ second piece of instructions.

“…What?”

And thus, the young gem has its’ first creature, and first title, granted due to the lack of understanding. What it does understand, however, is that it can now “birth”, though it has yet to understand how one “eats”. Settling back into growing, it decides to wait and see.
And so, the little gem continues its dig to the surface, feeling an excitement stemming from a part of its mind not quite its own.
