Jacob Mills. 23 years old. 183cm, 75kg. A virtuous young man. Having finished his night shift at the local supermarket, he was walking home. The nights were getting colder, as it always did when winter approached. He thanked his intuition that he'd worn warmer clothes. Aside from the cold, the evening was pleasant. The night was unusually bright with stars and a gentle breeze swished though his silver hair. He emptied his mind of things and took a deep breath, seeing his apartment building in the distance. His walk home was interrupted, however, as a drunken man emerged from around the corner with a knife. He grabbed Jacob by his collar and demanded for his wallet.
”Gimme your money, squirt!” he shouted desperately. Jacob, never one for altercations, took out his empty wallet and handed it to the man, who, upon seeing nothing of value in the wallet, assaulted Jacob.
”You kiddin' me? Hand over the money or I'll kill you!” he screamed. It felt as if he didn't truly mean it. He was likely in a bad situation, Jacob surmised.
”I'm sorry, but I have nothing on me, sir-” A knife slit his throat open and ended his life. A small pool of blood spilled onto the ground as the drunkard searched him, finding nothing. He kicked Jacob's corpse and ran off.
…
… a feeling of falling...
… a feeling of heat...
… a feeling of smoke in the lungs...
THUD! Jacob found himself at the bottom of a massive, deep crater. To his surprise, he felt everything. Hadn't he just died? He was sure of it, but yet every breath pained his throat, every movement stung his muscles and every moment his eyes were open the smoke made its way into his sockets. But it wasn't brutal pain. It was a slight, annoying pain, like a mosquito's bite or a nettle rash. His pain soon subsided and he made sense of his surroundings. A massive stone chamber colored black and red by the torches on the walls. The flickering of the flames made shadows dance on the walls and flung small sparks to the bottom of the chamber. Then Jacob heard a voice. A deep, loud, booming one.
”Well, well! Welcome to hell! It seems you weren't quite saved by the bell of the church under which you dwelled! Haha!” A massive, fat demon landed in front of Jacob. Red skin. A black, shredded loincloth, a necklace of bone and gems. And a hellishly twisted grin. It sat down in front of Jacob, studying him intently.

”I am the Devil, but everyone here calls me Lucifer. Now, what's your name, son?” he asked. Jacob, shaken to his core, couldn't muster up a single word. Lucifer sighed. He waited for Jacob to answer for an entire hour. Eventually, the young man spoke.
”I-I'm Jacob Mills.” Lucifer summoned a flaming list of names, searching for Jacob.
”J... J... M... M... Ah. There. Jacob Mills. 23, correct?”
”Y-Yes?”
”Your father was named Jonas Mills, wasn't he?”
”Y-yes he was.”
”Alright, I got the right person. Oh! Ohhh... I'm sorry, kid. It looks like ol' Leader Man didn't deem you worthy of Heaven after all. It's real unfortunate, seeing how perfectly you lived your life...” Lucifer said, looking through his list of notable pieces of Jacob's life.
”W-what does that mean? I'm in Hell?” Jacob asked meekly.
”The one and only”, Lucifer answered.
”But I lived my life according to the god's will! How is it that I ended up in Hell?” Jacob inquired, trying to hold his temper.
”Not accordingly enough, I guess. The god's got practically perfect expectations for humanity these days. It used to be that a few missteps didn't mean much, but as time's gone on, he saw too much 'evil' in the residents of Heaven and so he raised the bar. You lived your life exceptionally, but early on, when you were still a kid, you strayed once or twice. See here? You hit another kid for bullying your friend when you were six. A sin of wrath. In my book, that's mighty fine of you, but God didn't like that one. And here? You touched your babysitter's boob when you were eight. A sin of lust. In all fairness, she was a looker. I wouldn't fault you. But God saw these two mistakes and decided you just weren't perfect enough. Two sins, one of wrath and one of lust, and you were denied your perfect afterlife. It ain't my place to judge, but that seems unfair to me.”
Jacob was devastated. Not a single holy text had ever mentioned such strict limits. However, having arrived in Hell, and having lived his previous life practically perfectly, Jacob saw this as a chance to experience the other side of humanity – the sinful, pleasure-filled abyss that was human degeneracy.
After all, in his belief, Hell was not a punishment. It was an afterlife for those who wished to indulge in sin.
"So, which floor're ya dropping off to first? There's seven to choose from, and plenty to do in each." Jacob took a short time to ponder which sin to explore first. Then, it hit him. Having died a virgin, Jacob decided he would delve into the pits of lust head first.
"Lust sounds like a good place to start." Lucifer laughed heartily.
"My kinda man!" He then clicked his fingers and sent Jacob to the floor of Lust. Jacob appeared at the gates of a small town called Luxuria. The wooden gates had a message carved into them: "Welcome to Luxuria. Your pleasure, our priority! Enjoy your stay!" Jacob grinned, taking his first step into a new, sinful life.
