Busy streets, car horns, smoke from factories; just another day in Tectric City. A walk through these streets reminds me how painful my life has been, how living with this "thing" inside me both helps yet ruins my life. My name is Tristan Glaive, and I am about to tell you about that time I went Meta.
I've been living with my grandparents for all of my life because when I was just 6 years old my mom died from Cardiac Arrest and as for my dad, he just disappeared after mom died. Since then I learned how to fend for myself, living with this meta.
Today was not the same as my average day because my heart was pumping wildly fast, my skin itching, eyes teary, and all my other nerves were going wild so I decided to go for a walk to calm my nerves. Walking through the streets I was dragged to an alleyway and was ganged up by a group of thugs and they mugged me, I tried to asked them to stop but they just brushed me off and started beating me while this happened my heart started racing again. "Mugged and having a heart attack could this day get any worse" I thought to myself but little did I know something was about to change me and just like that something snapped! My body suddenly jumped and I was on my feet again. The thugs were as confused as I was but a guy tried to stab me with a knife, I flinched I thought I was dead but I caught the knife with my finger and quickly disarmed the man, this came as a shock to me cause I don't even know self-defense. Then a surge of heat covered my entire body, some thugs tried touching me but their hands were burnt, freaked out and scared the rest of them ran from me and left me in the alleyway. Then suddenly my body started moving on its own, I still had my consciousness but I couldn't control my nerves or senses, it was like I was controlled or something. My body stood up and my fingers began to harden and it swung at a nearby trash bin, I thought it would hurt my fingers but to my shock it was slit in half and because of this I ran for my life; scared and confused.
