The next time she came to visit, he was steadfastly ignoring her. With eyes locked onto the computer screen and clicking away on a mouse, he more or less looked like the perfect office drone.
It didn't really stop him from glancing towards her when she entered, nor the faint embarrassment that shone on his cheeks right after. She grins, sliding onto a stool while staring at him with mischief dancing across her eyes.
A few seconds pass, only to be broken a few seconds later as she spoke.
"You know," she pipes up in a sing-song voice, "I've still got that video saved up in my phone."
He flinches, but nonetheless made to ignore her, clacking on the keyboard and moving their mouse around. With a hum, she leans over the counter to see what had taken up so much of his attention... only to snort at what she saw.
Stolen novel; please report.
"Didn't know that you liked to draw squiggly lines on Paint." She pipes up, sighing a second later at his lack of a reaction before shaking her head. "... Well, you're no fun."
"If you deleted that video, then sure. Why not." Came the sullen reply, his eyes still locked onto... whatever he was drawing on the computer. "Given you though, I doubt it."
She hums, letting out a shrug. "Got a spare cup of coffee."
He scoffed. "Delete that damn video first, then we'll talk."
"No."
"Then discussion's over." He huffs, turning back towards the screen. "That's all."
