Frederick Holts; 44 years of age, an only child. His father died in an accident on his work when he was just a freshman at a local high school. His mother died just a year after he graduated from college. They left him with whatever fortune they have. After he finished college,

he was able to find a job locally as a bank teller. Lived and worked here in this small city his whole life. He met countless women on countless dates but never truly got committed.

15 years ago, a family moved in next to his house, the Duhon family. Robert, the father; Emily, the mother; Richard, the oldest of the three siblings;

Marie, the oldest daughter, the second child; and Kelly, the youngest, who was just an infant then.

Frederick introduced Robert to some of his colleagues who then gave Robert a job at an engineering firm. With this, he became friends with the family.

And they would have barbecue over at the Duhons every Sunday. The Duhon kids would sometimes go and play at Frederick's backyard. They became close to Frederick that they would eventually call him uncle Fred. And Frederick sometimes would also come and pick up the kids from school after his work, since his work place would be on the way.

And even now, he would still pick up Kelly. Well Richard, he went to a different city as he would not like to attend the local university. As for Marie,(well you know how high school girls are) she now have a boyfriend who she rides with. So Kelly is the only one left that Frederick sometimes comes to pick up when his friends Robert or Emily are unable to.

Presently. As the last day of school is coming to an end, Fred is driving home and picking up Kelly since Robert asked him. He made a detour at a drive thru to buy meals as he always do when he was still picking up the three Duhon kids.

*whistles in the tune of kill bill*

speaker box: "Welcome to SMAG! What can i get you?"

a female voice spoke as he got near the speaker box.

(SMAG? stuff your mouth and go!)

Frederick: "I want 2 large burgers, 2 large fries and 2 colas. Large too!"

speaker box: "2 large burgers, 2 large fries and 2 large colas. Is that all sir?"

as the female voice from the other side of the speaker box repeated his orders.

Frederick: "Yes, thank you!"

Since it was only Kelly and him, he only ordered for two. After getting his orders he rolled back to the main road.

As the bell rings, she got up her chair. A classmate of hers approached then.

classmate: "The longest day I ever had! Augh! At last, summer!"

Kelly: "Yeah right? Seconds turns to minutes, minutes to hours and hours to forever, whenever you're waiting for something

time seems to get slower. So---------o, are we really heading to our house straight away? Don't you want to get

some clothes before we head home?"

classmate: "Nah, it's fine. I've already texted mom to bring me some clothes."

Kelly: "Whatever. Let's go, uncle Fred's probably waiting for us now."

They walked out of the room, many kids ran in the hallway despite the constant warning of their teachers. They're all excited,

summer vacation has dawned on them.

He was sitting quietly waiting for Kelly, while munching on the burgers he ordered for himself and Kelly.

startling the kids. He sat back relaxed while listening to radio musics.

After a while, a knock, it was Kelly and another girl her age. He opened the window.

Kelly: "Hello uncle Fred, have you waited long? This is Beth by the way, my classmate.

She would stay over our house sooo..." as she introduced her classmate to Frederick

while doing puppy eyes.

Fred: "Hi Beth Bydaway! I'm Frederick Holts! Hop in. Sorry, uh---Beth... I only ordered a meal for Kelly."

he tried to crack up a dad joke on them.

Beth: "Hahahahaha! It's fine sir."

and sure did, Beth cracked up on my joke.

Kelly: "Unc----cle! Well, we'll just share. Right, Beth?" she felt embarrassed, she then offered to share the meal with Beth "Bydaway".

Fred: "Yeah, so? Is there any other things you might need in your stay over? Like say, snacks?" he tried to suggest.

Kelly: "Good idea. We can stop over at StopN'Go."

Beth: "Fine with me." and they both agreed.

So, they made a stop to buy some snacks and drinks at a store.

While at the store, they encountered a drunkard who was pestering the store owner.

The drunkard took notice of the two teenagers and approached them.

Drunkard: "Well hello there ladies! I like that get up of yours. Wanna make some quick cash?

I don't mind there being the 2 of you, eh. It--it'll be more fun the you see. The more the merrier."

he tried to touch Beth when suddenly Fred grabbed his hands before he could do it.

Fred: "What do you think you're doing, Billy?! You get the fuck away from them or should I break your arm?"

he's still holding Billy's hand.

Billy: "Let go you fucking, old-man!"

Billy pose to strike Fred while his other hand was restrained. He got out of balance when a sucker punch

hit him square in the nose and broke it.

"AAAAHHHHH! FUCKING SHIT!"

Fred: "Let's go girls." as he coolly walked the girls away from the drunken pervert still on the ground clutching his

bloody nose.

Kelly: "Thanks uncle!"

Beth: "Thanks sir!"

As the two girls looked at Fred with much more admiration.

Kelly: "Do you know him uncle Fred?"

Fred: "Not really, just by name. I know he's a drunkard, he goes to places where you're not allowed to.

Well, let's get outta here before things escalate some more."

After they bought the snacks and left the store, Fred decided to make a u-turn and go back to the drive thru to buy another meal, for both girls which the two agreed too.

On their way back, they were happily chatting. Fred kept on driving, and it's already getting a little bit dark now.

Fred made a call to Robert that they are on their way now. After he hung up, he dropped his phone on the car floor.

He tried to reach for it while keeping his sight on the road, but still he couldn't reach.

Kelly: "What is it uncle?" while she was chatting with Beth on the back seat when Fred's action caught her attention.

Fred: "Oh, nothing. Just my phone, i dropped it." as he was still reaching for it.

"Ah finally!"

When suddenly there's an incoming car that uncle Fred tried to avoid.

Kelly: "UNCLE! LOOK OUT!"
