Earth 2016- Despair

A grey-haired man sat down at a desk, the entire room could not be seen as the only light within this room was a lamp was on this desk. The furniture and apparatus surrounding the old man suggested it was a laboratory, in front of him a recorder sat on the desk as well as a sealed tube encased in some sort of protective armor.

" The time is now 2200 hours, It has been 6 months since the invasion began. I, Dr Falstein, after making countless sacrifices have survived the first wave of the attack and have made it back to my laboratory!"

"All of my colleagues are dead, their research along with them"

The grey-haired man laughed and talked to the air beside him in an insane manner before he once more regained his composure as if his previous display had not happened.

"There's not much time left till the second wave approaches! The US Marine soldiers that were supposed to protect me have all died in order to make this chance count and getting me to safety! I did whatever I had to survive until I had completed my research!"

"I left the soldiers to die while I ran away, I betrayed my family and did not go to them.....I even stole a car from a woman who had a baby..."

*More mumbling and laughter*

"Huh? Oh yes...I'll get right to the point. Haha...."

"After countless deaths and expending all the remaining valuable resources we had left, I had gotten my hands on the corpse of a very valuable species of these creatures called the "Valsith"

*Self-depreciating laugh*

"The only reason we managed to catch it was because unlike the rest of it's species, it had no combat potential, Hahaha! It's almost like God has turned his back against us"

"When we caught this one, it had cost us everything. The Valsith seemed to be attracted to it no matter where we went and attacked us on an almost berserk level, after moving from area to area, I did some research and found out that the one we had caught was a Queen"

"After more research I found out that they cannot sent their signals to one another through lead, It was then I had the military find as much of it as they could and I encased my bunker both inside and outside with a reinforced version"

*Joyous laughter and mumbling*

"I enjoyed every minute of it, Hahaha....I am probably the only human that has ever killed one of these "Alien" knock offs"

"I found out that the only way to kill these creatures indefinitely, was to kill the collective conscience behind it"

"There's absolutely no other way to win, after thorough research what I found disturbed me to no end"

"These creates mutate and evolve as they go along, although very subtle; I've allowed the Queen to give birth as I had seen with my own eyes along with the soldiers that the only vulnerable time of the species is after birth"

"Both the Queen and the young were weak immediately after delivery, I experimented on the young ones and found that the Queen had become agitated after the death of any one of them"

"To be safe I had decided to incinerate them immediately after I conducted my experiments and never allowed them to grow older than half a day"

"Almost as if she had felt it herself, I also noticed that every time I incinerated them, she would scream and the next batch would take longer to be incinerated by the fire and eventually I had to stop"

"What if it escaped and entered the world...wouldn't it have become another super weapon for it's race?"

"With a reproduction rate that outclasses cockroaches, and natural bodies that possess the armor and bearing of a KV-5 Heavy Super Tank....What can we possibly do? Can a pig escape the slaughterhouse?"
