Let me start by saying I have only read the first few dozen chapters and skimmed a few others of the original TI. This will probably follow the original storyline slightly, such as beginning in Resident Evil, and some of the worlds, getting points and buying stuff in gods realm.
There are a couple different versions I want to write of this ๐ญ one is solo. Another is canon and another is using all the same systems with just different people and teams and stuff.

I had been living in My
Home town for a few years now but I was kinda bored with everything, nothing was overly interesting and no matter what I did, it simply seemed like there was no color or whatever in anything.
Then from one moment to the next there was simply a quick but blinding flash of light and then I find myself laying down on an uncomfortable floor that feels like it's moving.. maybe a train? With that in mind I sit up and look at everyone and everything around me. There seem to be six other people either laying down or just coming back to consciousness but the rest, they seem to be frozen or something as nobody and nothing is moving at all except myself and the other group of people who clearly aren't related, it doesn't even look like the other group of people are breathing, let's not forget that they are extremely familiar looking commando types.ย
This is all eerily familiar to me for some reason and I'm hoping it's not what I think it is. But the fact I woke up on a weird train with Michelle Rodriguez a few feet away dressed like a commando is damning. The other people are finally beginning ย to start moving around though so gotta get my game face on... thats when I feel it on my wrist, an advanced looking watch, it looks like a smart watch of some kind.
With that in mind I check the new message or whatever it is. 'Welcome to Terror Infinity - Augmented, survive or die, it's your choice!' With that the rest was basic information and objectives such as not getting more than 300 feet from the commando leader dude, One.
It looked like people were beginning to panic as they got up and looked around. "H Hey! What's going on, how did I get here!?" Was some generic white dudes first generic and panicky words.
Another older Caucasian man looked slightly more calm but he didn't look like he would last long, there were two shitty looking punk dudes as well trying to look threatening but simply looked like clowns due to their dyed hair and shit.
Another was a middle aged looking woman who looked at everyone with a sneer on her face who probably wouldn't last long either.ย
The last person besides myself was a girl that looked to be of similar age to myself, she was white with a slightly gothic vibe to her, she would probably survive if she isn't stupid and can keep with the main characters at least some what.
'The movie is about to begin.' I read as my watch beeped. ' awwh fuck, there is nobody with experience to give us information since these guys don't seem to know where they are I'm guessing I got technically double ROBd.' I thought, annoyed at this situation.
I decided to help the asshole out slightly since we only had seconds left. "Hey assholes, play along, follow along and don't get yourselves killed! Read your fucking watch's, they have basic information on them!" I yelled at the idiots and at least some seemed to listen and look at their watches, I couldn't care less anymore.
All I could do is brace myself for whatever is to come. As the world around us came back into focus, the main cast of the movie began to move around again, they didnt seem bothered by our being here so I simply assumed we were 'meant' to be here for whatever reasons made sense to them.
it was amusing watching things unfold, from Rain not being able to open a door to her compatriot doing so and having the asshole that started it all fall out on top of him. I simply did my best to not be noticed as much as possible at this point, the others seemed to follow my lead and gothic girl seemed to gravitate towards me as the only other person her age and that might be useful.
When we were close she slowly put out her hand to shake. "Isabelle." She murmured to me. I was curious why she was being timid or whatever it would be considered, I know I'm 6 foot tall and fairly decent looking but nothing over the top to be shy about. Unless she is a closet nerdโฆ. She does give off the vibe a bit but she is too pretty to be that. "Alex. Do you know the plot to this movie?"
She quickly nodded her head in acknowledgment and I sighed. "Good. We will grab the pack in the closet the jackass came out of on our way out." She just nodded and grinned at that. I couldn't help smile back slightly.
once everyone was out of the train we stayed behind and went to the closet that Spence Parks fell out of and and quickly took out the bag that was hidden within it. I quickly shouldered it and we then caught up to the rest a few seconds later. Thankfully it took them a hot minute to get through the main door and it wasn't too far away so we could quickly catch our breaths, I didn't want to explode like a greasy water balloon, nope no thank you.
"Guys, move fast if you want to live, I doubt the dying thing is just for show. 300 feet." The others just mumbled profanities while I psyched myself up to not die, hopefully.
โโโโโโโโโโโโ-
holy shit these people are beginning to move fast.... not too bad but far faster than normal people. I can already feel myself become slightly winded but thankfully I have only been out of the army for less than a year so I haven't yet collected my beer gut too much, though not for lack of trying. Weirdly I can see Isabelle keeping pace with me fairly well, only a light sheen of sweat showing on her brow compared to the others who look like they are dying and sweating bullets as we made our way down the stairwell, though I haven't seen several of the group in a while, I have to assume they won't be around much longer.
unfortunately I don't remember much from the Terror Infinity novel, I think I still remember the basics of what happens but not the minute details not that I'm sure it matters considering I seem to be in a different version or something along that line and things are obviously different. I also remember that I need to change the plot and certain things to get drastically more points such as saving individuals from the cast and shit, maybe stealing stuff like the T-virus or something, or using it, will give me points or discounts? I might be able to leave this shithole with over 10k points if i do things correctly but that would increase the danger drastically if I'm not mistaken and death may not be worth it as I'm not quite suicidal yet.
It was inevitable, eventually there were multiple 'BOOMS' that came from above us, I could still see the middle aged dude puffing along but he was still several floors above us.
Nothing overly much interesting really happened just like in the series canon until we got to the room that lead to the red queen, though passing by floating dead people and knowing they would be trying to eat us soon is a bit much and kind of crazy to think about, which I was trying not to do too much right now. I could tell I wasn't alone in my thoughts as I looked at Isabelle and the old dude who finally caught up to us, they looked disturbed at the sight just as much as I'm sure I did.
I had to admit though that this world was my possibility to earn some real points, if it worked out anyways. For it to work i would have to bullshit my way through this a bit and hope for the best, though 'one' may still die, hopefully the other 3 would live.
With that in mind I walked up to One before the door opened. "Hey chief?" he looked in my direction, probably wondering who i even am. "Yes?" After ordering my thoughts I gave my spiel. "The Hive as you said is basically the home of the Red Queen, we are basically inside her so she knows what we are planning with all the cameras around us." he just shrugged not getting what i am saying yet so i would have to elaborate further. "The Red Queen is an artificial intelligence and wont want to be shut down, either from self preservation or from programming.... therefore i highly doubt your guy will be able to shut down the defences on the first try, its more likely that she will play possum on you until a group of your guys are in her laser death chamber and fry your asses.... leaving just a few of us left to carry out the mission... I would suggest that if you wish to pass through that laser death chamber that it is only one at a time, just in case. that is my suggestion based on my specialty, which is AI computing and psychology." One looked grim at that, he was seconds away from ordering over half his team into a possibly literal death trap. he wasnt sure if i was right or not but there was no reason to take the risk.

I honestly wasn't even sure if he knew that that room had laser defense systems but by the look on his face as he gave out orders I would say not.
"very well.. I will go first to make sure it is viable, once the emp is on the other side, everyone will follow one by one, just in case." he told me and the others in a grim but low tone of voice. he knew there was a possibility that he would die now but he wanted to save his team just in case.
The others in my group just looked at me strangely though they couldnt hear what we were talking about exactly but by the look on Ones face they could assume it wasn't good though as orders came out it became obvious I'm sure.
Eventually Kaplan managed to get the door opened and One timidly began his walk towards the door, looking like a man heading towards his own grave. eventually he got to the other side and attached his transmitter to the pad to begin hacking the other door, though unlike in canon he walked back to the others and grabbed the bag from his men and quickly went through to the other side once the door opened, managing to get through without anything happening. he looked relieved like the hammer of death had been removed from his head, though the same cant be said for the next person to cross.ย
It was one of the nameless commando dudes who i never got the name of was the next in line to enter the death chamber, well unfortunately for him, the Red Queen decided to quit playing possum as she obviously figured out my plan. lets just say that this dude didnt make it to round 3 like One did in the original timeline, he got bisected quickly and died pitifully. I felt kinda bad for the dude but better him than me if I'm being honest. There was a lot of screaming and yelling and honestly I'm sure I looked a little pale, my new friend definitely looked sick though. All I could really do to comfort her was to give her shoulder a little squeeze to remind her she isn't alone here.
The other soldiers had looks of horror on their faces and One looked grave but still managed to give me a thankful nod after Kaplan actually managed to shut the Red Queen down for real this time.ย
I didnt really want to take the time to do it as i was fucking terrified to be in the laser death chamber, but i did stop to pillage the dudes weapons, most notably an MP5 with a few spare 30-round magazines that i stuck in my cargo pockets, (im very thankful that I actually tend to wear cargo pants in the first plance) as well as a pistol and the holster which i simply attached to Isabella's belt, with two spare magazines, the last item was simply a 12 inch bowie knife and its sheath which I gave to the old dude, he looked slightly perplexed that he didn't get the gun though he didnโt say anything.
One didnt stop me from doing so, probably because I saved most of his teams lives, it may have earned me some trust and they may need another gun, and we all technically work for the same people anyways in their eyes. Hopefully these items come back with me when we get back to gods dimension or whatever it's called. It would be one less thing I will have to spend points on.
Well so far nothing has changed too much other than there being more survivors at this point, so hopefully things continue happening the same, we simply have more firepower. I did get some notifications on my watch but I didnt check them yet as i wanted to be somewhat surprised at the end for better or worse.ย
Though I'm pretty sure the more you fuck with the storyline, the harder the story is supposed to get. Kinda wish I had infinite rounds here.
The next bit that happened as we all walked in to the Red Queens 'brain' for lack of a better word, was that she showed herself in a hologram form. "get out, get out, you cant be in here!" the red hologram of a child said in her adorable British yet childish voice. "dont listen to anything she has to say!" Kaplan said grimly as he got to work.
I stood by One as I decided to speak to the Red Queen, curious if it could be reasoned with or at least coaxed into giving life saving information to the commandos without me having to spill the beans. "What will happen if we shut you down Red Queen?" I asked her in a curious voice, though I already know all the answers. "well... You will all die down here if you do." she said it so deadpan that i froze slightly. "ignore her, cant believe anything she says." Kaplan muttered loudly from his work station though i ignore him.
"Yes I got that already, but why and how will we die if we shut you down? kinda need to be specific here." i tell the vague little hobbit, slightly annoyed at the situation i find myself in. "that is above your clearance im afraid, but i can hear it in your speach algorithms, you do believe me when i say that none of you will survive when i am shut down, how curious." I just smile a grim smile. "well I know about the virus, and some of its effects. Im guessing it was released and that is why your defenses were activated but doesnt explain why your trying to kill this team without communication first."
There wasn't really much to add, One heard the exchange so he knew something was possibly horribly wrong but that the AI also probably went psycho as well. "What are the effects of the virus?" He asked me grimly. "The basics of it are reanimation when infected. Think zombies for all intents and purposes though these will probably mutate and be 10x worse after a while. Headshots should work on the basic ones but I'm pretty sure umbrella was experimenting on other things down here. Shutting down the computer may actually release whatever is down hereโฆ." I trailed off after my watch notified me that I lost 10 points. Yup no more of that. I'm surprised I haven't lost more if I'm honest. I tried to be careful with how I said things and lead people by the nose but it was inevitable I would cross my tippy toes over the line eventually.
One just sighed, they didn't have a choice either way. "Shut her down, we don't have a choice." And with that the lights went out. I think the red queen may have actually been sad for us but protocols dictated her actions.
With that over with I walked up to Alice as I haven't actually talked to her yet really. "Hey, Alice right? How are you doing with all this crap all things considered anyways? Anything coming back to you yet?" I figured she may have had flashes at best by now and probably barely that.
She looks at me and smiles slightly. "Not much really, just flashes sometimes when I see things I recognize."
"It will come back soon im sure, though until then you might want to stay close to the commando dudes." I tell her with a amused look. Though she looks like she wants to say she doesn't need help she simply shrugs.
I figure that if we start off with more people we can probably fight our way back the way we came and basically avoid the second half of the plot and get back directly to the train though I'm sure god will change something or throw something at me that I won't enjoy.
One thing I'm thankful for is my time served in the military. I normally wouldn't say that but in this situation it's useful, it helps with one's mindset.
It didn't take long before we were back in the chamber with the lickers that were in some kind of cryostasis or something, that's where shit would get real. I noticed rain wasn't with the others as we walked in so I walked off quickly to find her since I know generally where she went. I guess we finished with the red queen earlier than in canon because there were not any gunshots yet.
As I approached I saw a woman in a white lab coat about to land on rain, probably about to take a chunk out of her hand like in canon so I grabbed her by the shoulder and tossed her a few feet away. "What the hell man!" Rain yelled, shocked and confused about what just happened.
"Look at her, skin pallor and color of her face, her eyes, everything. She's not right and is most likely infected. Don't let anyone down here scratch or touch you or you may be as well." Rain looked pale at that as the scary dead woman got up.ย
"Fuck, back up, back up!" I yelled at rain as I unslung my MP5 as we moved back a few feet and the lady began to shamble forward after us. I had to put on a show a bit to show them that they were no longer alive, as well as how to kill them.
"Stay back!" I yelled at it while aiming my machine pistol at it. After a few seconds I put a bullet in her left kneecap but she kept coming so I did the same for her right, it barely slowed her down.
The others had arrived by now as I had stopped rain from simply unloading on the creature. I shot it a few more times in the heart and other vital organs and it kept coming. My 7th bullet was strait to the head and it's head snapped back and fell to the floor finally dead.
"Destroying the brain is the only way to kill the infected. Anything else is a waste of bullets, understood?" I turned and spoke to the others after I put the creature down permanently.
The others looked grim or horrified at the situation and turned to One on what to do. "Alright, set to single shot and prepare to move out, we're going back to the train!" One looked just as afraid as everyone but he was a professional and would push past it.
