Chapter 1 – NSLICE-00P: Online and Ready to Terminate!
Hey everyone! It’s Icalos, bringing you all a new novel and definitely not avoiding editing the previous one! And that means new author’s notes! Since I guess this is like, my thing now haha.
And that’s right! It’s Isekai LitRPG time! For real this time! But with killer cyborgs! Who may or may not also be a dungeon and a human with a status (which we will see on chapter 3 or so) at the same time. Which probably wasn’t supposed to happen.
Ah well, I’m sure everything will go fine and this will in no way cause headaches for anyone related. Least of all the manager of the System. See, NSLICE-00P doesn’t mind!
She also doesn’t really feel…well…anything at the moment but that’s besides the point.

Yes, the list is from who you think it is and it contains the names you think it does. However, the sender didn’t expect Isekai time, and so she’s not actually going to find any other Faceless Minion characters in this world. But hey, we gotta get NSLICE-00P moving somehow!
Please note that I intend for this to be a Writathon novel, so full force writing won't begin until Writathon does (Monday the 31st confirmed!). But hey, we're supposed to not start with a backlog, so anything I do end up writing early shall also be posted early.

Because yes, trusting the intelligent rat dungeon master you just beat and subordinated by force is totally the smart thing to do!
So yeah, looks like we’ll need a bit more work before we can get NSLICE-00P to check her status. I’m not just putting it off because it’s a lot of work to figure out, trust me.

You know what else was terminated? The author’s brain when realizing he threw out a bunch of level ups and skill increases without tracking them cause he was lazy earlier and so had to hunt down every last status notification to update the status correctly along with accounting for some off-screen increases before writing this chapter. …I definitely should have created this status progress tracking sheet before this, shouldn’t I have?
And so the introduction arc comes to a close. NSLICE-00P is now engaging with the system and has become reasonably overpowered. Which means…it is time to unleash her upon the wider world!

…I think NSLICE-00P might already have a higher direct body count than my other MC, who technically had a villainous lead tag. But oh well! Both Isekai AND RPG rules state that bandits don’t count as people!
After all, none of them had names or uniquely drawn character art, so that means none of them could be recruited! And if you can’t be recruited, that means you’re experience! Dem’s just the rules.

Well well well if someone isn’t trying to earn themselves one free termination. But like, I guess we’re in a society now, or something, so immediate termination is probably frowned upon. Sigh.

As for her status...well the Empire's status artifacts weren't exactly built with double-status human-dungeon core hybrids in mind. And she has a full 'human' status so that's what it read. Hypothetically there's the 'human-dungeon core-automata hybrid' part but that's brand new data that the system may or may not have been updated to handle at this point so it just reads 'human' to most current status reading methods.
But more importantly, time for NSLICE-00P’s first interactions with intelligent, civilized life! Lar doesn’t count as intelligent or civilized.
What’s that? Oh, yes, of course.
NSLICE-00P’s second interactions with intelligent, civilized life. Because of course, the Great-High King of all the land’s realm was the epitome of culture and intellect before its sudden and tragic demise, yes-yes. Lilussees…hasn’t said anything because she’s asleep, so we’ll say second interaction for now.
And I guess the wulver are also intelligent. Civilized depends on your point of view but they’re as civilized as they feel like being so we’ll say yes. So, third interaction with civilized life?

Hope this one came out all right, supposed to be an important moment after all. Probably shouldn't have written it while getting hammered by the booster shot haha. But eh, I think I had already skipped a day at the time, so had to get it out. Delay something once and it's a fluke. Delay something twice and before you know it you need a reason to do it instead of a reason to delay it. So, the show must go on!

Side Story 31.1 – The Girl Who Was Left Behind
Etly asked if I was ever going to write from Ateia’s perspective and then I realized wait I never did that, did I? So, congrats Ateia, you get the first side story of the novel!
…again not entirely sure I got her completely right but eh, still wanted to get this out haha. Ended up longer than I expected to, so summarized some parts, sorry for the tell don't show on that. We can always have more flashbacks later if we need them, after all! Ain't doing a full life story arc for Ateia right now haha.
For names, I debated this since ‘Seero’ isn’t really a name per say, but since this is a full side-story from Ateia’s perspective (who also doesn’t yet understand that ‘NSLICE-00P’ is a serial number) decided it would be weird not to use it here. I think I will stick with NSLICE-00P in main story chapters, but any full on side-character POV chapters we can go with whatever they call her.

To be clear on what’s happening, the Empire’s status reading tool only ended up reading her personal status. In fact, most Analyze abilities would. I mean, why wouldn’t they? There’s never been anyone with two statuses, after all. Even if you read a dungeon master it’s going to show their personal status, not their dungeon management screen. It’s only showing the ‘human’ part of the ‘human/dungeon core/automata’ hybrid because they haven’t fully figured it out on the backend haha. Analyze abilities aren’t necessarily perfect, after all, so it’s reading the data it recognizes. Maybe some squiggly lines for the other parts but hey what kind of clerk's gonna file the paperwork requesting an investigation for some squiggly lines?

The fact that he’s a human and a citizen of the Empire would have made the whole building a dungeon thing Imperial business, which 00P would have considered herself a third party to and so avoided involvement in unless she was directly threatened. He could have at least rampaged through Castra Turannia if he had just ignored her to start with.
