Life is pretty good for Tenthé on the streets of the City Proper; he has something to wear, food from the Mission, and a place to sleep. He spends most of his time searching through the ruins, hoping to find a copper or two, and sometimes picking up an odd job from his friends or from the old gods. Yeah, there's the occasional tiff, but it's never anything he can't handle.See, over the years, he's managed to pick up his own brand of magic, and although anyone with enough ability is supposed to apply to the Magisters' College, the reality is that it's only for the privileged, and Tenthé has never felt the need. He's done okay on his own.Unfortunately, when Gods and magic are a significant part of everyday life, the good times can't last. The signs are all there: the missing Dreamer, the overdue Horde, and the fact that Tenthé hasn't been trapped in a weird part of the Pools in quite some time. Whatever the cause, he's certain he'll be dragged into a mess sooner or later. But maybe this time it won't end up as bad as the last time. Or the time before that. Or...No matter what happens, Tenthé will do what he always does: take things one day at a time.
