The revolution during the final periods of the ravenous Sengoku era wasn't sufficient to put an end to all conflict. Even under the strict control of the Tokugawa Bakufu, nothing could extinguish the flames of hate ravaging Iga and Kōga, the two eminent ninja clans who supplied the noble with the mercenaries they needed during the Sengoku Period. The sparkles of fire spawned during the early 17th century soon fanned into flames that prevailed for almost a century, costing the lives of the participants and the people caught in the crossfire. On a bright morning in 1714, Hattori Kento, a descendant of the legendary Iga Ninja and samurai, Hattori Hanzo and his recently formed team, The Teen Ninjas were summoned by their master, Sensei Hattori Akio. Only to realise that Kento’s parents, who are loyal servants of the Imperial palace, have fallen into a fatal coma, dying. Determined to find the truth, Kento demands his grandfather's information, which soon leads to the uncovering of a decades-old secret. The Teen Ninjas then commence to volunteer to engage in one of their most dangerous and difficult missions; To restore the Star of Izanagi, an arcane creation of the Divine from the hands of the minions of the Kōga clan and their grandmaster. Keeping everything including their lives on the line, Kento and his team are determined to face the dangerous forces of the Kōga province, to save the lives of Kento’s parents. But will the young shinobis have what it takes to face their rival clan? Will they have everything it takes to uncover all of the dark secrets behind the Star of Izanagi? Or will they just fail in trying to put out the flames, only to let them burn even brighter?
