“A dangerous halfbreed demon had, for 100 days and nights, fought with an angel. She was one of the most beautiful angels and a top-ranked soldier from the Valiant side during the war. These two battled daily without a winner or loser in the secluded woods. The one who wins the battle also wins a significant important area in the war. On the 101st day, a couple of demons followed the halfbreed, and in the middle of the fight, they shot an arrow that hit the angel's stomach and leg. She was injured, and it was not clear if she would survive at all. The halfbreed killed the demons that had followed him into the woods and brought the angel with him to try and get help.
Who did he turn to when he couldn't go to the demon side or the side with all the Valiant kingdoms?...this is where the story gets interesting. The older man with the hat was the one the halfbreed asked for help. He got a solution from the older man and escaped to Earth. Except for the angel, he had two chests with him that the older man gave him to protect...When he arrived on Earth through a secret gateway, he ended up in Paladin Woods, located in Sweden. The demon took care of the angel's wounds so she could recover completely. Then suddenly, the angel lost her powers; she was just like everyone else. Her wings got loose, and she looked like an average human being. She had some powers left, but they were nothing remarkable, and it was impossible for her to be a soldier of heaven anymore. While you were sleeping like a lamb, Victoria explained that she lost almost all her powers because she was in love. I had never heard of a demon and an angel being in love; they are two different sides. She knew it in her heart; the demon saving her would become her life now, and there was no turning back. She got healthy, and the cabin was finished in a secluded area in Paladin, and the news came. She was pregnant with a child, and it was never heard before that a demon and angel were becoming parents. The witches living in Paladin Woods warned the couple to keep their distance from crowded areas until their child was grown up. The reason for this was because of rumors if you drink the blood of an offspring from both an angel and demon, it would give you immense powers not to rule one kingdom; it would provide the strength to take over several kingdoms in Valiant with powers from both sides. Their first child was a girl with shining blond hair, and Victoria explained that she was so beautiful. She looked like any other human being, which is more interesting because she had powers from the demons and angels side. The left side of her body could take a light blue color, and the right side was black; the child had power but received training to handle it from both her parents. The only downside they noticed was that none of the two powers took over, and it split in half, which meant that she didn't have all the powers of an angel and not all the powers of a demon. Still, having these two powers together, added with other powers, would make anyone strong. Her mother and father were delighted she had the powers to protect herself. Still, the situation could become very dangerous if someone knew about their daughter's powers because people in Paladin Woods thought the mother was human. When the girl was eight years old, the mother became pregnant again. A boy was born, and this is where the story starts getting tragic. The parents thought the boy would also inherit powers, but the years passed, and he was like any other child without any powers. Still, the boy was in awe of his older sister, who liked showing her powers to him." She stopped momentarily in this romance novel by V.V Polan, where it did fit well for Victoria Van Polan. From nowhere, her tears turned to crying out in the air.
I mean, the story wasn't that bad. Having an angel and demon, a daughter with powers, and a useless son did add some flair to the story. That sounds intriguing, but I was curious about what would happen. She kept crying, and I just wanted this info-dumping story by Victoria Van Polan to end so we could move on. I tried to look interested so she would stop crying and end the novel, but I had a bad feeling that it would continue forever.
"Well, what happens next?" I asked her while looking at her sobbing with a fake caring voice.
She tried to clean the tears going down her cheeks like a river. I couldn't understand why she was crying over a novel by Victoria. I mean, yeah, I fell asleep several times when she kept telling the story and only knew the beginning, more or less, but it's just a story. She slowly gathered herself, and I waited for her to tell the rest of the story.
"Tragic struck the family. The boy got sick when he was six years old, lying in bed all the time with a high fever, and not even the witches could do anything about the boy. He was sick, but none of the potions would help, and he kept sweating day and night and could barely eat anything. The parents even tried a hospital for the humans because he had no powers; maybe it was a human disease. Nobody knew what was wrong with the boy, so they returned to the cabin. The mother was distraught that the little boy would soon maybe die, and the father couldn't bear to watch their child soon would maybe vanish. Sitting beside her brother, the sister made an important decision by herself to save her brother. She lifted him on her back and walked out of the cabin. She took a right turn directly so the father and mother wouldn't notice them. She walked through the woods and took only a moment to reach the spot where she wanted to go with her brother. So when she arrived at this small cave, which was just a giant rock, it was pitch black inside, and she walked in there with her brother on her back. She knew it was a small chest at the end of the cave. She put her brother in front of the chest and made a big blue circle around her brother and the chest so they were in the circle. The girl started rambling the words, with the chest opening up, and blood began to rain everywhere in the cave. The sister was shocked, stopped rambling the words, and moved outside the cave, soaked in blood all over her dress. The parents had noticed they were gone and ran straight to the cave to see their daughter soaked in blood, crying outside; they knew it was over now. Both the parents knew it was all over, and they had to do something right now. The mother and father hugged their daughter with much love and care. They told her everything was okay and forced their daughter to always care for her brother no matter what and to protect him. The parents told their daughter to step down the rocks and not be too close to the entrance to the cave. She listened to her parents and kept her distance. The mother couldn't hide her crying because she knew this was the last time she would see her daughter again, and it was apparent to the father the pain he felt to leave behind his children like this. Both parents turned around and faced what was inside the cave; two red, light-shining eyes in the cave were looking at them. Now, in the central part of the story, the older man with the hat that trapped the demons in the chests didn't manage to dispel one of the chests where soldier number ten had a curse lurking around. There was only one curse, but it was a powerful one. The parents knew about the specific curse the Evil Witch put on the chest, which was why this particular chest was hidden. It was not meant to be opened until a Witch knew how to expel that one little curse still lurking in the chest. This entity living in the chest with the other ten demons had no interest in being alive or demanding anything. It was only interested in one thing, and that was destruction. The parents asked the entity what it wanted to release the boy and disappear. The boy possessed by the entity started to laugh and asked them what they could offer to make it exciting. Without hesitation, both parents offered their lives in return for the boy's safety and that it would leave the boy instantly forever. The entity laughed, or the boy laughed, as you could say.

A big wave of blood started to flush out of the cave, and the daughter was shocked because it looked like a giant blood wave just flowing downstream from the cave. Blood was getting covered everywhere outside the cave, and suddenly, the sun shone into the cave with the darkness all gone. She ran up to the cave, and her brother suddenly walked out from the entrance covered in blood. She just ran to him and hugged him hard while crying in the air and looking into the cave. There was no mother, father, flesh, bones...only blood everywhere. Later on, witches that were friends with the family inspected the cave, and besides the blood everywhere, there were no signs that the parents had survived. They even looked for bones and flesh to see if there were any signs of the massacre that had happened, but they came out empty. They did, though, take the blood in and match it with the children, and it was confirmed that the blood bath was from the same bloodline." The teenager went quiet.
Eh, I didn't know what to say to cheer her up, going from a murder facial expression to a sensitive teenager. How do I react to that?
"So...what happened to the siblings? I asked because I was curious about how the novel ended.
The tears started again, but she cleared her throat and kept talking.
"The entity that disappeared and left the boy returned to the Evil Witch. She sent out a search party when she heard about children born from angels and demons. The word spread around about the children, and the friend who was a witch taking care of them two got killed. Veronica told us the rumor has it that the Evil Witch found them. While the sister tried protecting her brother, both got stabbed by evil bounty hunters. The rumor Victoria heard about it was that a blue and black light came out of the daughter's body when she passed away, while the brother didn't have any powers, so there was just death. When the Evil Witch heard about the light disappearing from the girl's body, she told the bounty hunters to throw the bodies away, which is the end of the story." She stopped in the end.
It is finished, but it was not that bad of a novel.
