As the initial shock of my reincarnation wore off, I took a deep breath, allowing the reality of my new existence to settle in.
The woman's cryptic words echoed in my mind, but I decided to put them aside for now. I needed to focus on my immediate surroundings and figure out my next steps.
The forest around me was a symphony of colors and sounds. Strange, bioluminescent plants glowed softly, casting an ethereal light on everything. Trees with twisting, otherworldly trunks towered above me, their leaves shimmering in hues of blue and green. The air was filled with the chirping of unfamiliar creatures, and the sweet scent of exotic flowers wafted through the breeze.
As I walked deeper into this surreal landscape, I decided to check my status. With a thought, a translucent screen appeared before me, displaying a wealth of information:
---

---
Seeing my new status, I couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and excitement. My intelligence was notably higher than my other stats, and I wondered what kind of abilities and knowledge it might grant me. The term "Human?" also piqued my interest—was there something more to my identity that I had yet to discover?
The Reincarnation Beginner's Pack in my inventory intrigued me. I decided to inspect it further. With a thought, the pack materialized in my hands. It was a small, intricately designed box, shimmering with a faint, magical glow. I opened it carefully, revealing its contents: a basic cloak, a sword,a few bottles,a book about the world, a small crystal and 100 free status point
---
As I held the small crystal, a status window appeared before me:
---
**[Spell Stone: Fireball]**
**Crush to learn**
---
"Ah, Fireball—the most iconic fantasy spell," I murmured, a grin spreading across my face. With anticipation, I crushed the crystal in my hand. The moment it shattered, a brilliant light erupted, and I felt the energy being absorbed into my body.
My skin tingled as the knowledge of the spell embedded itself in my mind.
Curious to see my new ability in action, I brought up my status screen again and saw a new section for spells:
---
**Spells:**
- **Fireball**
---
Eager to test it out, I aimed my arm toward a sturdy tree nearby. Concentrating, I activated the spell. Flames began to swirl in my palm, growing hotter and more intense with each passing second. The fireball expanded, crackling with energy until I could barely contain it.
With a shout, I released the spell. The fireball shot forward, a blazing comet of destruction.
---
**Boom! Woosh!**
---
The blast was far more powerful than I anticipated. The recoil sent me flying backward, tumbling through the underbrush. My head spun, and my vision blurred as I tried to regain my bearings.

Panic surged through me as I realized something was wrong. My limbs felt heavy, and a deep fatigue washed over me.
Gasping for breath, I pulled up my status screen and saw the problem immediately: my Mana Points (MP) were completely drained. I had used up all my mana to fuel that one fireball, and now I was paying the price. Weak and dizzy, I crawled to a nearby tree and leaned against it, trying to gather my strength.
---
'I need to use my status points to increase my attributes,' I thought, feeling the urgency of the situation.
---
Focusing on my status screen, I quickly allocated my points. My Strength and Agility both increased to 25, my Vitality to 30, and my Intelligence to 40. I left 30 points unassigned for emergencies.
---
**Updated Stats:**
- **Strength:** 25- **Agility:** 25- **Vitality:** 30-**Perception:** 15- **Intelligence:** 40
**Status Points:** 30
---
As the changes took effect, I felt a surge of energy. My muscles grew stronger, my mind sharper. The dizziness faded, replaced by a newfound clarity and resilience.
Just as I was starting to feel more confident, a series of unsettling creaks and rustles reached my ears. I turned my head and saw them—goblins. A group of five or six, their green skin blending with the foliage, eyes glinting with malice.
---
'The sound of my fireball must have attracted them,' I realized, my heart pounding. I was not even an hour in this new world and I've already made my first mistake I was in an unknown forest in a new world, and already facing my first real threat.
---
The goblins advanced, crude weapons in hand, snarling and chattering among themselves. My mind raced, assessing the situation. While my increased stats should give me a better chance of fighting them off, I had no way of knowing how strong I was compared to before so i needed to be smart about it.
---
'Think, Jake,' I told myself. 'You can do this.'
---
I slowly rose to my feet, feeling the strength in my enhanced muscles. The goblins hesitated, perhaps sensing the change in me. I readied the dagger from my beginner's pack, the blade gleaming faintly in the dim light.
---
"Alright," I muttered, eyes narrowing as I faced the goblins. "Let's see what this new world has in store for me."
---
With a deep breath, I prepared to fight, knowing that this was only the beginning of my journey.
---
**Woosh! Woosh!**
Arrows whistled through the air, narrowly missing me as I jumped to the side. My sudden movement almost sent me sprawling, the unfamiliarity of my new body and boosted stats making me feel uncoordinated. There were six goblins in total—four wielding crude melee weapons and two with bows, their beady eyes fixed on me with malicious intent.
---
'A head-on fight would be bad for me,' I thought, quickly assessing the situation. 'I just got this body and can't move as well as I did before. I need to take them out one by one.'
---
With that plan in mind, I zeroed in on one of the smaller goblins. I sprinted towards it, using my increased agility to close the distance quickly.
---
**Clank! Sling!**
---
Our weapons clashed, the force of my attack sending the goblin sprawling to the ground. The difference in strength between us was evident. As the goblin struggled to rise, I raised my dagger and brought it down with precision.
---
**Puccht!**
---
The dagger sliced through skin and bone effortlessly, the goblin's eyes widening in shock before it collapsed, lifeless. Blood spattered the forest grounds, and a sense of grim satisfaction washed over me.
---
**Woosh! Woosh!**
---
More arrows flew towards me, but I was already moving, darting into the dense foliage of the forest. The remaining goblins let out guttural cries, pursuing me through the underbrush. My heart pounded in my chest, adrenaline coursing through my veins.
The forest provided natural cover, and I used it to my advantage, weaving between trees and ducking under low-hanging branches. The goblins, less agile struggled with the terrain, stumbled and letting out sound as they tried to keep up.
I could hear their frustrated grunts and the rustle of leaves as they tramped through the undergrowth. I knew I needed to thin their numbers further. Spotting a large tree with a thick, gnarled trunk, I quickly scaled it, my enhanced strength and agility making the climb easy. From my vantage point, I could see the goblins below, scanning the area in confusion.
---
'Perfect,' I thought, steadying my breath and preparing for my next move.
---
One of the goblins, separated from the group, wandered too close to my tree. I dropped down behind it, my dagger flashing in the dim light.
---
**Puccht!**
---
Another goblin fell, and the others whipped around, realizing their numbers were dwindling. Fear flickered in their eyes, but anger quickly replaced it. They regrouped, more cautious now, their eyes darting around, trying to spot me.
Using the forest to my advantage, I continued this guerrilla warfare, striking swiftly and retreating into the shadows. The goblins, disoriented and scared, became easier to pick off one by one. Each successful strike increased my confidence, and I began to move more confidently, my new body's capabilities becoming more familiar.
Finally, only two goblins remained—the archers. They were visibly shaking, their arrows loosed wildly into the trees in a desperate attempt to hit me. I circled around them, keeping low and silent, until I was in position.
---
With a burst of speed, I closed the gap and took them down, one after the other, their bows snapping uselessly as they fell.
---
Breathing heavily, I surveyed the scene. The forest was silent once more, the only sounds the distant chirping of insects and the rustle of leaves. I wiped my dagger clean and sheathed it, feeling a mix of relief and triumph.
Woooooosh puuch
"Arrrrrrrrrrr" I let our a scream as an arrow flew into my leg the tip tearing through muscles hitting the bone where it stop.
I whipped my head to where I heard the arrow to see another goblin with it arm on the bow, and another by it side having shot one arrow, immediately I threw my dagger towards the goblin.
The dagger went into the skull blood rushing out of it with brain matter all over the blade, normally I would be care as to how accurate my throw was but I was too busy screaming in pain as I pulled out the arrow.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I was careless, I should have checked around to see if there were still more goblins" I said as I pulled out a bottle labeled health potion and watched as the wound started to close.
'This new world is dangerous,' I thought, my gaze shifting to the horizon, in the distance the cries of various creatures rang out and among them I could make out the sounds of goblins.
I took a deep breath to calm my heart which was easy with the Unique skill in effect and with renewed determination, I continued my journey, ready to face the unknown challenges and adventures that awaited me.
