“I can feel it moving inside of me” Ein Anders gasped in pain. She was lying on the bed, writhing in pain while her husband Drei loomed over her holding her hands tight. “It’s so big” she whispered weakly again, by now she was covered in sweat, beads of perspire dripping from her face to her bed.
“It’s starting now, you can take it. I know you can, honey” Drei spoke to her, lovingly, caressing her matted white blonde hair away from her face and tucking it behind her ears. Her eyes meet his, blue against brown. They were filled with a mixture of pain, happiness and anticipation.
“I love you” Ein told him, her eyes travelling down to his lips and moving hers there.
“I love you too” Drei softly returned the words while also moving to meet her halfway, his lips parting in desire-
“Excuse me, can you stop this love-fest for now?” Dr. Vier White yelled out in frustration. She was kneeling between Ein’s legs. “Now is hardly the time for this. Hey hey, that’s not the kind of kiss you give to your wife while she’s in labour. STOP IT. And you.” She pointed to Ein angrily. “PUSH. Before I give up and cut this baby out. Believe me. That won’t be pretty.”
“Lord, what crawled up your ass, Doc?” Drei glared at Vier, clearly unhappy that his snog time was interrupted. “Chill out and get my son out of my wife.”
Before she could retaliate to that Ein screamed out in pain. Vier got her head back into her job and masterfully positioned herself while giving out instructions to the couple. “The baby is coming. Mr. Anders go to your wife, distract her from the pain. And Ein. You push. It’s crowning now. I can see the head.”
After some more screaming, fights and Drei’s very bruised hand. The baby finally gave it’s first breathe to the world. Ein, her breaths slowly becoming steady, looked over at her husband and smiled with love and pride.

Vier looked at Ein and a very naked Drei to show them their baby, while methodically cutting the umbilical cord. Wait a minute. Naked?! “I meant to talk-. You know what? Nevermind. We have another naked baby to see,” Vier gave up on the couple and looked at the newborn. At the same time Ein and Drei also looked at their firstborn. The proof of their love-
“What the fu-.” Vier gaped at him in shock. She blinked twice to make sure she didn’t imagine it from exhaustion. Slowly she spoke, “why? Why are you naked?”
“You told me to distract her,” Drei said in a matter of fact tone, clearly unabashed that she was seeing him in his birthday suit.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?”
All three of them yelled out. The doctor threw away the baby in her arms. The moments old baby landed near the door with a sickening crack.
“….”
The room was silent. No one wanted to speak. Too traumatized by what they had seen. No one focused on the fact that Drei was still gloriously nude. Finally Drei opened his mouth.
“Are all babies that disgusting?” he managed to say, his mouth still turned up in disgust. Ein stared at him with empty eyes, no longer able to smile in happiness and love for her baby.
“Obviously not, you idiot. Look, even the doctor is in shock.” She chastised him.
“Lord of the Lights, save me and my brethren from the devil and his offspring. I offer my heart and soul in your name.” Doctor Vier was praying quietly, staring at the bedroom walls, ignoring the baby cries that were filling up the room.
“Hey doc, how’s it still alive? You literally threw it at the door. Also I thought you were an atheist,” Drei said while watching his son cry aloud from the floor. “Ein, I think it wants you to feed it.”
Regaining her senses, she finally focused on her child. “Do I really have to?” she stared at the child in disgust.
“It’s probably your genes that caused that anyway.” Drei continued, gesturing to his naked self. “It’s obviously not from me, I mean. Look at me.”
Ein whipped her head around and punched him right in the groin. “LISTEN HERE YOU FU-.”
While the couple shouted at each other, the doctor continued to pray to her newfound faith. The baby was forgotten despite the loud cries.
