The Rabbit Hole IV The Old World I

The Rabbit Hole IV The Old World I

All the while with Sylvia, she was now in Silas's Dreamworld and surprisingly enough beyond furious while Silas helplessly smiled,

And Tillie frowned with a tinge of curiosity, and funnily enough even Lady Siness was there curiously drinking a Chilled Celestial Grape Cola.

Albeit it was now spilled due to the shockwave of Sylvia's arrival but she had more! Resulting in Sylvia frowning even more, while both Iva and Lady Shade had curiously arrived shortly after.

"We had an agreement that after the time phenomena and the continuation of the others, that we would 'not' make the same mistakes as the others had!"

"However now it seems that despite our best efforts, someone is bold enough to force the same horrific changes upon the original! And you've done nothing?!"

"I will not allow that brat that you gave 'partial' divinity to destroy the order and target him!"

Sylvia angrily reminded.

"They might be similar and Melly might have caught glimpses into the other's but they're not the same! And I will not allow this temporal interference to continue!"

"Lady Shade had to even involve herself after I arranged our agreement! And even then she was well within her right to do so! And the last thing we need is Aurel's Gods being forced to interfere because you allowed it!"

"It's either time those two met or you actually do something about it! We already have to deal with Malik's copy, The Void, The Blight, and whoever else who wants to pop up! This is the last thing 'I' need!"

Sylvia angrily reminded further, surprising Tillie having realized there were disturbances but this?

Sylvia would never go as far as she did now if the situation itself didn't warrant while it seems Lady Shade and even Iva have also involved themselves resulting in her contemplating the matter and how it'll affect her plans.

If they do then naturally she'll put a stop to it 'herself' whether the others agreed to or not.

While as Lady Siness who unlike before would jump on such an opportunity to study this phenomenon preferring strategic ambiguity?

She was still that child's vassal and handled the matters of that were previously given to her meaning if asked she would interfere, or perhaps if or when her interests were targeted.

While Silas despite helplessly knowing all this and even agreeing to then helplessly shake his head.

"I fear you all might be extremely misinformed! This is 'not' the doing of either Lady Fate or Aurelia, much like Aurel she would and hasn't done anything of the sort, she's a good girl after all?"

"All Holy Princesses of Selphine, temporal or otherwise 'are' mind you! And I do hold hope that they'll meet! However I believe the true perpetrator is that of The Lost?"

"The experimental copy of the original that didn't meet the same fate?"

Silas playfully explained.

"Despite absorbing much of the copy itself even before the creation of the others, the rest were lost not only with time but due to the unforeseen complications of not only the copying itself but the anomalies that followed?"

"Mind you I, Selphie, and the others involved ensured the souls weren't lost, while you had decided to simply move your Sun and Moon Elves to the original where they had chosen to call themselves The Gold and Silver Elves?"

"However, this wasn't all the case, our balance hadn't experienced the same as the other, while much like your own idea, Lady Fate had also been transferred to the original"

Silas playfully explained further, all the while also hinting along the way, hoping she'll understand instead of simply being told in a playful manner!

Surprising both Sylvia and Tillie, while Iva understood as much while Lady Shade surprisingly caught on quite quickly. Albeit immediately but that doesn't matter!

Resulting in Sylvia soon remembering something quite odd.

Despite the majority of the souls being saved or even repurposed, there were still a handful who had disappeared before the systematic failure amd decay of the copy.

To put it simply, simply copying the original Divinus knowing its true age, and many more factors without considering the copying factor itself.

And preparing for it ultimately meant the copied world would no doubt die within those ten thousand years due to the instability alone. Especially when it wasn't supposed to last.

Meaning those who might have discovered this may have attempted and went as far as to resolve that issue to no avail resulting in several naturally occurring races perishing, at least that's what many might believe.

However, what if they did manage to succeed? What if such a place still existed?

Albeit barely? Perhaps the planet had to sacrifice much of its size to compensate for such a thing. And from there they were simply stuck in between space of time up until now?

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

And after also coming to the same conclusion they realized they were simply an experiment left with the now ghost cities and spirits of The Elves, Celestials, and many other races having left their massive treasures, blood wines, and corpses.

And what if the naturally occuring gods, demigods, base humans, had been restarted only now with a much smaller and developed world? Would that still be Divinus? Livinus maybe? And what if they got in contact with Aurel's races?

Resulting in many equally disturbing thoughts! Would they get along? Would they attempt to communicate with The Silver and Gold Elves? Resulting in many more worrying thoughts, while Silas left it up to their imagination!

Resulting in the precarious situation at hand..

"Unfortunately your words alone aren't enough to dissuade my thoughts, I'd much prefer that such riddles and cryptic nonsense meant to play with the fragility of imagination ends here. Either provide the much-needed evidence or take it a step further by allowing us to visit such a place?"

"If not, then I believe your words hold very little weight, much as they did when you had promised The Demons you'd contain your Dark Elves shortly before committing such a senseless genocide"

"The same could be said for that of The Void Elves, perhaps in future The Dark Elves will return to their previous nature and target the likes of The Light Elves?"

Lady Shade coldy grilled.

"Void Overload, Disintegration, and Madness is all but temporary, perhaps The Light Elves had the same 'curse' that neither I nor my lord are unaware of?"

"Should The Dark Elves ravage us as they did The Void Elves using the same nonsensical excuse, perhaps this time their punishment will be that they wouldn't be able to drink their favorite bloodwine on the weekends?"

"And what of The Light Elves then? Simply put, in every other instance I hear excuses time and time again with very little action or any real form of a proper response, how could I trust a god let alone an individual who had only ever displayed such behavior?"

Lady Shade coldy grilled further, surprising everyone and stunning Tillie beyond belief, where did Lady Shade come from?

All Tillie knew now was the fact that she liked her, while as Sylvia worriedly looked to Silas since despite how absurd it sounded, it was still a slim possibility.

While Iva adorably looked to Silas, resulting in Silas helplessly nodding.

"If my Dark Elves had ever had a similar intention, I hereby promise I'll be the one who stops and cripples my race, I have no intention in repeating the past little sister"

"Now onto other matters! As a sign of trust, I'll allow you all to verify it all to your heart's content!"

Silas playfully reassured resulting in everyone coming to an agreement of a sort while Iva happily clung to Sylvia's hip.

All the while back with the young prince after what felt like an hour had passed he was now tipsily intoxicated resulting in Keres making an appearance and playing with him.

While watching the intoxicated Lilly interrogate all three Blight Spirits who now politely sat on the ground after experiencing Lilith, The First Goddess of The Endless Abyss in all her glory and being bullied even after death!

"Hmph! To think I'd break your 'spirits' so soon! Resist! Cry! Do something! I could care less that you brats were harvested from that dead world! And I care even less how they turned you into blight spirits! Do I look like I care?!"

"I'm already three bottles in now! Now, tell me before I turn you into a pointless mist! How'd you get here?! And does that dead world still have bloodwine?!"

Lily righteously questioned having one of the handful of gods who had actually played with that old world, to put it simply that's where many of The Greater Races were ultimately tested, so that old world was a testing ground if anything else!

Those involved were Silas, Selphie, Satara, Inari, Mai, Celes, Celestine, Lily, Liphine, Satella, Alfinia, Lady Claret, and even Aurora and Arie to name a few.

Albeit Arie was still Aurora's Avatar at the time, all of those involved kept it a secret and simply never spoke of it again if not hid it from themselves since they weren't the same as they were now.

To put it simply they either didn't want to or they had purposely forgotten.

Surprising Keres causing her to then look to the young prince who was adorably clueless before then playfully laying down.

And pulling him into a cuddle while looking onto Lily's rampage and after a few moment's of testing his attention span she reverted to Alfinia.

"I and Elfinia were sister Ancestral Queens at one point or the other, however, I'd imagine that would be considered the case in The Old World"

"My reign lasted for seven millennia before I resigned to my fate and allowed 'Satara' to experience what it meant to be a Queen"

"After three more Millenia, there was so very little left to do, and many would ask why I was her favorite even now. What I truly valued was her loving nature and bonding with Elfinia, they were indeed truly precious"

Alfinia gently reminisced.

"However, I'd also imagine this belongs to the past now it seems. And after our arrival here she had implemented her own changes and left me how I was, perhaps as a cherished memory?

"In the beginning, I enjoyed helping her as an advisor and later assisting Lady Elfinia for quite a time before her return to The Ancestral World"

"It seems the most cherished times always pass like the wind, all the while leaving me in this predicament. There's always more history than that of which is written"

Alfinia gently reminisced further, having ultimately felt burdened in this farcade, no matter how truly fun it was to be Keres in this world, it was simply tiring for someone who had lived many lifetimes.

At least that's how she felt at the moment, perhaps she would be able to revitalize herself in the future.

No matter, as long as she has luxuries, such as these few moments where she could truly reminisce, then she'll remain content!

Soon enough however after getting the information out of those three, Lily had soon noticed her transformation, before then looking to the three.

"Don't move! I need to play with Alfinia!"

Lily coldy reminded before then playfully hopping on the bed and looking at Alfinia as if seeing if she was truly real and not the outrageous amount of Blood Wine getting to her nerves.

Causing Alfinia to then gently smile and fix Lily's bangs.

"I'd imagine it'll be our little secret. I highly doubt anyone aside of Elfinia and a handful of others would truly recognize me as Keres, while those who do know very little of our time in The Old World"

Alfinia gently teased causing Lily to then playfully frown.

"I could care less, let me guess Satara gave you that idea? How about following advice that isn't ridiculously pointless?! Stay Alfinia and stop making a fool out of yourself!"

"You were so committed to the role she gave you that you became a laughing stock! If you don't at least try to retain your former glory I'll bathe you in abyssal flames until you do!"

"You even allowed that Sephine to 'cripple' you! We both know that you were never crippled and hadn't changed!"

Lily coldy recalled.

"Even if you suppress yourself you're still The First Ancestral Queen of The Void Elves and the benefits from being The First Ancestral Queen had already pushed you beyond The Sacred Realm!"

"I've had it with brats like you and the ridiculous cliches that serve no point and help nothing! This is my first and last warning!"

"And I swear on The Old World if you don't have any of your bloodwine with you I'm going to take out my 'frustration' on you and give our Aurel an early lesson using you as an example!"

Lily coldy recalled even further, having felt especially frustrated, and began finding everything overtly upsetting including this nonsense that shouldn't exist in her eyes!

She wanted to happily drink with her Aurel but those Blight Spirits annoyed her more than they should have and now she has very little patience for it!
