The moment Ash falling from the sixth floor, their gaze interlinked as one, with eyes that more closely matched the bottomless blue ocean, unyielding.
She was beautiful, but not in any celebrities way. There was some subtle manner to her movements, a carefully set expression on her face that had Ash utterly wanting her, he was going to swoon with lust.
Dr. Celice widen her eyes behind the window as the youngman falling amidst the middle of crowd waves, but there’s no corpse nor mangled body as if everything is just an illusion.
Panic filled Ash mind as he felt a wind pressure against his back, then black entered his vision.
Absolute darkness.
His felt his body floating. flying in awe as his sense tightened to incredible level, he slip between the crowd, he could sense every people in the commotion, be it young or old.
Some escape for their lives without missing part of their bodies, Parent with their child running without knowing what happen, even a small insect couldn’t escape Ash’s sense, but still black, pitch black and not whole.
Subconciously he flying regardless of the people bustling around him to the random door in 1st floor, it’s hard to describe those itching sensation, he let his insticnt takes control, and less thinking.
It was a cold day in the clothes filled room, it takes a few second to adjust before his vision returned to normal, and could feel his limbs whole again.
“Haa.. haa.. haa... what was that?” Still in a daze, Ash closed the door subconsiously, then adjust his breathing. This time he really starting to has a bad feeling, no human could survive such situation, and he did.
He clutched his chest tightly, then he stopped, found himself gazing at a messy looking room.
There was nothing special here, as normal as the other room around it. After a moment of hesitation, Ash decided not to go outside yet, after hearing the screams still ringing in his ear, then he locked the door.
Ash walk over to the end of living room.
He opened the door, and looked around carefully. The corridor was empty so he stepped inside, keeping a wary ear out while following a faint sound of woman. For no reason he could give, he felt his sense stronger than it had done in months or years.
The corridor was fairly short, with just five doors leading off it, one to his immediate left and right, and the third at the end of the hall.
Ash released the hood covering his face, and then slowly pushed down on the handle to the door to his right. It looked like this room was a kitchen. There were a couple of food cabinets pushed up against the wall, a variety of foods delicately spilling out, as though someone had tried to pack them away in a hurry.
Ash raised an eyebrow in understanding, and then backed out of the room, to open the door opposite. This was the bath room. bandage were sprawled out across the floor tainted with blood.
Seeing no signs of life in this room either, he closed the door, then walked down the corridor to the door at the end.
He tentatively pushed down on the handle, and he winced as a noisy squeak pierced the silence. He shoved open the door into what he was guessing was the bedroom.
He did not know why but he walked to this place, he opened the door without knocking, stepped in without invitation. He just felt to do so. It were as though a piece of instrument had called him without using a melody.
The closer he went the stronger his itching sensation became, something was there. Something he need, something he crave, deeply.
When he entered, the room was so messy. There was a shocked feminine
gasp as the door swung wide open, and slammed into the wall with a crash.
When Ash stepped forward cautiously, he saw a black haired girl in short skirt on the other side of the room. Her hands clutched at the back of the bed she was hiding behind, and she stared at him with terror in her eyes.
He returned his eyes to the girl before him, a girl around 18 years old, there was fear emanating from the girl, he don’t know why he could feel it, it’s disturbing yet somewhat pleasant in his skin.
The girl trying to scream, but something caught her throat as she saw the beautiful youngman before her eyes.
‘An angel?!’ she exclaimed in her thought.
He was extremely handsome and gorgeous, save those terrifying yet beautiful eyes.
"Who are you?" she whined, "What do you want?"
The pain and desire was excruciating. Ash was certain she was the cause of it. He badly needed her, he badly wanted something inside her very being. As if controlled by a demon, his body was blur as he moved to stand before her.
“Ahh!” she cried.
Drops of blood dripping from her neck, followed by a faint whimper of the girl.
“Please, no more.”
"Ah.."
“...”
Soon the whimper come to stop and he felt a familiar crimson essence entered his every cell. It’s envigorating... and addicting. Drawing much more.
Her breathing sped.
Fear strangled her, something within him paralyzed her resistance. As she tried to rise from her bed, she felt the cold numbness wash over her.
She heard panic and screams from outside of the apartment and knew most of them had all fallen victim to it. the murderer of the college student or so they say, but why he or she killed so many people without care? genocide? Somewhere in the middle of it, she stopped thinking about it, it was not her problem.
She wanted to scream, to fight, resist, but she knew it was useless, this beautiful man before her is something from the legend, his action speak of it, and it frightened her.
But....

She simply stared. And he stared back. After a moment of apparent contemplation. She sobbed silently within herself as she awaited the end of her yet something withing her not wanting for him to stop.
He just stood there. His clouded green eyes gazed down at her. There was no emotion in them. No compassion.
Just hunger.
She felt winter breeze blow through the steel window and suddenly teeth retracted and his skin warmed. The beautiful man standing before her looked like in his 20, his glowing eyes were the only indication left that he was something not from this world, something from the legend, myth. Blood suking creature.
She closed her eyes and relished the feeling of his tender, yet strong hands along her skin. She had been told by the stories of legend and taleof old, everyone believe it just a product of human imagination, that they are not real.
The passion of him was unlike any other. Some said it was because they turned those whose blood they drank into their kin. Those that said this believed they not only absorbed that person's knowledge and memories, but their emotions as well, causing them to be excellent, violent, or ven their lovers. Or just drain them like a food and dispose of them afterwards.
Her skin tingled with anticipation for what this monster may have in store for her.
It was not until he removed it that he come to his sense, he was atop unmoving girl, her face pale white, devoid of any life.
She say something before her demise, but no sound come out from her mouth, still he caught what she’s trying to say.
He backed away a step and paced once and twice, still gazing at her. Somehow the scene before him is very familiar, so very familiar to him.
“...What have I done?” Ash asked himself in self loathing, there’s no longer fear in his mind now, it feeels normal and feels good like it means to be. There is no more shaking. He felt he’s no longer himself, just... more than himself, more than human.
“She’s right.” Ash felt calm and his mind settled, "I am a Monster." Ash said softly.
*******
Celice closed the apartment door, and turned towards the street. She swung her eyes higher to the sky and began the walk to her limo escorted by her bodyguard.
The sun was just rising, and the sky was full cloud and some helicopters could be seen already. In the east, the west, light shone from the sky, an army of heavily armed soldiers surrounded the area and trying to control the situation.
Celine stopped before a scar faced man.
“Colonel Lee.” She nodded, trying to control her fury.
“Ah.. Dr. Celice, it’s so nice to meet such beauty in the morning.”
“What is the higher up thinking? Why did they sent you here?!” She grimaced.
“Heh, don’t be so agitated. Just like they say, um.. it’s for the country future.”
“Stop your nonsense Colonel Lee. They can’t be thinking of controlling the Portal, right?”
He laughed “No, no. we are not controlling the Portal, but take an advantage of it. with these crystal core we obtained from these creatures we could gain many benefits and many years advancement in US military and technology. Why are you still aksing such a stupid question? You Advent Research Unit of all people should know the most.”
Celice looked at the marching troops and sighed “.... Let’s just hope US won’t follow German footstep.”
Lee chuckled “We won’t. We may be the second country where the Portal appeared, but we will be the first to benefit from it. just do your job Dr.Celice and let me worry about the rest.”
She clenched her fist and left.
“If you please, Colonel!" Lt. Kennedy bellowed as he open the helicopter's door.
"I still think we should burn it out, Lt. Kennedy." Colonel Lee at his side said jokingly.
"Eh.."
"Haha it's a joke. Not now anyway, Lt.Kennedy. I'll have no part for senseless destruction. Besides, it’s just one.. um, what they called this thing?” Lee asked.
“RL-45. According to data we retrieved from the survivor in German, the creature with blue skin resembling a lizardman and hard as steel.”
“Hm, right monster it is then.”
“RL-45, Sir.”
Lee pulled aside the .50BMG, and reached into the inside vest, before withdrawing an old fashioned cigar. “Lt. Kennedy, open fire, kill the monster!”
“What about the civilian sir?”
“It was unfortunate, but we have to thanks them for their heroic deeds in holding the monster for us. Their sacrifice is not for naught.” He said while grinning at the monster.
“But...” Kennedy protested.
Lee shot Kennedy a glance
“Hurry up Lt. Kennedy, stop messing about or the mosnter will claim more victims." Lee said with a wicked smile
“... Yes Sir.” Lt.Kennedy clenched his teeth and began barking orders at the troops.
A middle aged man looked relieved when the army dispatch the troops, He smiled in return and was about to speak, when there was the many horrible shrieks of bullets on flesh. The man looked down in horror, and then tipped forward, clutching at his chest.
