Lady of the crow

In a town so distant and remote that for generations it's name was simply home. A myth is told to those who will listen. One of a figure of a woman that that would appear at the edge of town. who would guide the lost where they needed to be. And a boy that fell in love at first sight. Those who knew him spoke of how he would sneak away from his chores to run in the woods no matter how much he was scolded. some spoke of a little girl that none know the name of. Who would wave good bye with a smile. The boy himself took up wood carving and began to make toys. Diapering in to the woods with his best work. As he grew his self teaching payed off because he began to make furniture. But no matter the work lode of the young man he could still be spotted carving trinkets to give to his love. At night she could be spotted waiting for him by the trees at the edge of town, and when she was with him those Lucky enough to see her smile did not question wether his love was reciprocated. When he grew up again he was well respected not just for his knowledge of his craft but generous behavior in the gifts he would give, toys to the kids and food from the forest to those who need it. He helped when ever he could so when a child was orphaned no one was surprised when he took it the child. He raised the child the best he could and had them apprentice under him. When the man has grown to old to continue his work that same child took over the business and came to have a family of there own. Years later as the festival of the fall harvest was growing late. A sound was hard from the woods that silenced the festivities and a great flock of crows blocked out the eaving sun. Mirror seconds of terror washed away as the flock quickly dispersed. It was not till the next day that It was discovered that the old man was gone without a Trace of whare he had gone. But now it is said to all merchants and travelers alike that should they find themselves lost all that must be done is follow the young couple trialed by the flock of crows.
