The girl quickly packed some of her stuff in a small bag and opened her window. She was fortunate that she was on the first floor and not the second floor like her elder siblings. She threw the bag outside and quickly climbed out, almost tripping in the process but, catching herself at the last second before bolting away from the house. It was very early in the morning but, with that person coming here by the afternoon there would be no time to waste. She hurried, not once looking back. There was no need to it would only make things harder for her. Sadly, she's sure her parents won't understand but, it no longer matters.
She stopped running after almost an hour and tried to get air back into her lungs. She had never run that far before plus the weight on her back made things a bit tougher. After a few minutes, she started off again. The sooner she reached the next town the better. No, she wasn't gonna stop there. They would find her fairly quickly and she'd be in hot water maybe even imprisoned in her room again like two years ago. She shuddered at the memory but kept up a relative pace. She'd stop at the next town to get food so she can replenish her energy before leaving it. Then.. well, she didn't know. All she knew was that she had to get away from her hometown and from him and his group.

A few hours later she was on the path to the third town. This town was the smallest and was the one on the outskirts of the kingdom. The kingdom wasn't big which she was both happy and upset about. If it was big she could blend in more and have fewer chances of being discovered by the person she was running away from. But, this could also be dangerous as his members could be anywhere and also blending in.
She was then pulled out of her thoughts as she almost hit the gate to the outside. Finally, she was here at last. She had always wanted to leave this miserable kingdom so with her head held high she walked out. Feeling free like a bird. Finally! No more being imprisoned in her own house. She could do whatever she wanted to now. But, she still had to be careful. Who knows if his group is outside the kingdom too.
