Inside a village set on fire soaked in crimson blood were mutated bodies all over the ground, the men had their heads chopped off put onto spikes stuck in the ground, while the women clearly had their torsos missing, ravens surrounded the entire village standing on top of houses and even churches, letting out a song that seemed like it belonged to the god of death himself.
In the middle of it all was a black haired boy with streaks of white within it on the verse of over taking the black his eyes were cold, lifeless, and bloodthirsty, if anyone attempted to look into those different colored eyes of his they would be frozen solid unlike others who attempted to imitate this murderous feeling his were the real deal forged through hardships, and pain by seeing those beloved to him butchered.
His name was Samael with no surname to call his own not anymore now that his entire family was wiped out with him only able to stand there like a coward no power to resist their attackers he had no right to even dare use the name as his own, the only thing flashing through his mind was why? If he continued to train with the sword rather than goofing around with the other kids he might have been able to save them all but now all that's left is this destroyed village and the huge black hole in his heart never to be closed because of this he slowly started to understand the meaning of what his father told him before his death causing him to think back to the past before this happened.
One Week Eariler.
A raven haired boy was laying down on a hill covered with a lot of grass with a huge apple tree on top of it filled with yummy fruits, and fresh air enchanted by the Birds of different colors singing a wonderful song, as he was falling even deeper into sleeps dark embrace he could hear a loud noise over top of his head.
“Samael!”
As he slowly opened his eyes he could see a beautiful brunette girl with dark blue eyes and long eyelashes enchanted by her amazing curves and pink lips she was not yet matured completely but outclassed many girls in their village due to this she was one of the most prettiest girls in not just this village but the entire northern region! They may have been sealed off to outsiders due to being a remote village filled by only certain clans and some farmers but that wouldn't prevent information from occasionally leaking out to the outside world.
People had many names for her like The Stone Cold Beauty or Princess Yuki The Untouchable War Goddess due to her being skilled at both swordsmanship and archery also being capable of casting magic without incarnations curving her out to be any mans Dream Woman with her looks and an exceptional genius of great ability, but to him her one and true name was Yuki Sunada his to be wife as to how he was able to get engaged to such a beauty like her was due to their fathers being close and creating this agreement before he and she were born, if either one of them were to have a boy or girl the two would be engaged to improve relations between the two noble families.
This of course provoked the wrath of every other boy his age but mostly none of them dared to offend him directly due to him being related to a rich and powerful family with the backing of the Northern Region King called The Rainlord who was his great great great grandfather described in legend to have crushed an entire country over night with his powerful Magical abilities and talent, alas this didn't stop some arrogant fellows of powerful families to push their luck and secretly target him with no one watching of course he couldn't fight back due to not being nearly as talented as his wife to be nor his father who shocked the northern region with his talent unfortunately he was injured in battle and never recovered, his son thought only inherited the worse genes and was mostly average in everything swordsmanship, archery, magic you name it what he could brag about though was out of their entire generation he scores the highest on every test involving all subjects being number one among his peers saving him a bit of face, due to having such high intelligence he was able to outsmart his attackers always ending up on top.
Cleaning his eyes out he looked at the Beautiful girls Dark blue eyes once again for whatever reason she always looked for him finding out all his hiding spots no matter where he went to sleep or hide away from the rest of the horrible bastards in this village of his, he never could avoid her she knew him like a book always harnessing or taunting him in a sarcastic tone annoying him to no ends yet he couldn't help but to admit it intrigued him quite a bit slowly but eventually it made him fall in love with her bit by bit.
Pushing those thoughts to the back of his mind sighing a bit he decided to answer her.
“Yes Princess?”
As he said those words he could see her face becoming redder and redder showing a bit of anger.
“Samael y...you shameless boy how many times must I tell you not to ever call me that.”
He couldn't help but to chuckle as she slightly punched him in the chest.
As she regained her composer coughing a bit she started to speak with those shiny small pink lips of hers.
“Anyways Father in law wanted you to hurry home he said it was something urgent, the way his eyes looked worried me.”
As Samael heard these words he couldn't help but to have a sight frown on his face thinking about his old man the last time they spoke to each other and the heated back and fourth insults they threw at each other only made him shiver.
Since his mother passed away his father and himself have had a love hate relationship they never could be on the same page especially due to the high expectations that he held for Samael that only helped to distance the two from each other not even able to have a full conversation expect using the minor hi son or good morning even how's your day and that's about it.

'What could he want from me other than to badmouth me on how I stopped training and instead chose to spend my days enjoying life itself rather than pursuing the career of an adventurer or famous knight, there's no point to me training I'll never advance at the speed he expects of me comparing my talent to his is like the strength of a fly to a Lion.'
Still he couldn't help but be curious on what his father wanted from him so without wait he took Yuki to accompany him on over to his Clans House, they arrived without any trouble other than the tons of perverted glaces thrown towards Yuki and the clear signs of jealously pointed at Samael of course they both ignored the crowd due to having more pressing matters at hand.
What stood in front of them though was a giant house that could fit 50-95 people at once It had expensive declarative design on it with the banner resembling the same Aqua Dragon family symbol that he had on the back of his coat used by them since The Rainlord revealed himself to the world shocking them with his powerful control over Water Magic with the usage of the Ancient Dragon Tongue.
As the guards saw them coming near they quickly bowed and opened the door for the two so that they could enter, heading through a couple more doors Samael was able to see a few of his cousins and Aunts taking care of their babies he only proceeded to ignore them as every member of their family weren't exactly on speaking terms, as they finally approached the Room in the very center where his father lived he rolled his hair back a bit so that his wavy bangs he usual used to block his different colored eyes didn't get in the way of his face, going towards the guard he announced their presences to his father.
“Master Samael and Lady Yuki have arrived my lord!”
What stood in front of Yuki and Samael was a beautiful man wearing a long white robe who resembled Samael a lot expect his eyes were pure red, while his hair was completely white flowing over his shoulders enchanted by his pale skin and long white eyelashes plus his effeminate slender build different from Samael who resembled his mother with a more manly yet handsome build, this man called Illunis had a serious expression on his face clearly showing the danger of their current situation.
“Samael as reckless as ever I see if you didn't get here within a few hours I would've thought you for dead killed by some bandit or magical beast, still it's good to see you alive and well my son.”
Samael only nodded noticing that his father was the same as usual making things out to be more dramatic than they need be.
“Still we should get to the point? So I'll start from the beginning my friend and your wife to be Father while he was drunk promised her hand to a Prince who's famous for his ruthless methods and armed with his father the kings men would easily be able to wipe us out.”
As Samael heard this he couldn't help but to get a bit worried but then rembered something important and quickly spoke his mind.
“They aren't afraid of offending The Rainlord? Also couldn't we request his help?”
“Alas my son related to The Rainlord or not he wouldn't risk going to war with such a powerful king for the sake of a minor branch like us especially since I was injured in battle and now seen as disposable.”
Suddenly the man named Illunis started to cough heavily.
“Father! Are you all right?”
Samael was obviously worried for some of the only true family he had left he and his dad might of not have gotten along but he would never wish for him to die.
“......I..I'm fine as I was saying we tried sending a messenger out to deliver the news that she all ready was due to be wed but he wouldn't take no for an answer and instead decided to declare war on us and take his bride himself through force truly reckless but we were the cause of our own misfortune.”
Illunis slowly stood up barley holding himself up hiding his weakness from all those in his court.
“But we shall show him what happens to those who poke a sleeping dragon inviting our wrath with the help of our allies joining us in battle to push back that Imperial trash from the west.”
As Samael heard this he was clearly displeased instead of seeking war against the Imperial army they can instead decided to end it peacefully without killing each other so he took a chance and spoke with his father.
“Father.”
“What is it Samael?”
“I'm fairly confident in my diplomacy skills to arrange an alliance in our flavor to stop the attack without either side going to battle.”
Illunis only shoke his head.
“Some things can't be solved with words alone no one will listen to mere words without strength to aid oneself otherwise the strong will simply over the weak, Strength is everything in this world.”
“Father give me one chance please!”
Illunis couldn't help but listen to this boys words who resembled his wife if they were able to end this war through good means then they would gain a powerful ally in the future and not lose any clan member or ally forces.
“Fine, I'll give you five days to end this conflict through peaceful means if it isn't resolved by then war will be at hand.”
Samael with a smile on his face nodded and turned to leave little did he know that quiet words were spoken that few would be able to hear.
“Katherine he reminds me of you, you both have the same native determination and belief in peace through words rather than blades truly foolish..but then again that's what made me pursue you since childhood.”
