Thousands of years ago dragons existed, but they didn't look like we imagine them, with scales and fire breath, they were beautiful beings who looked just like humans in their human form. But in their real form they were big, but beautiful and elegant with eye color that was usually red or yellow, and sometimes in exceptional cases navy blue.

But one day there was said that humans declared a war against dragons. Dragon emperor with no way out, in hope he will save his people surrendered himself, and ended up killed by humans. His wife the queen fell in despair and made a decision to kill herself, she would have done that if only she was not pregnant with child of Dragon Emperor. She decided that she will give birth to her child and then kill herself.

But in the meantime their kingdom was attacked by humans who killed almost all the dragons in it, leaving the queen and the child she carried in her womb only survivors of dragon species. Too weak unable to switch to her human form she was starving for too long. When it was time to give birth to her child she died because she was too weak. Last thing queen saw was her child that was on her surprise in it's human form already. Few hours later some people were passing by and saw a baby crying right beside a big and elegant dragon. The people didn't know what to do so one of them took the baby and brought it home. The man's wife was surprised and didn't know what to say, but because she couldn't have children she accepted the child and named him Deng Long, because her husband told that he found this little baby boy right beside a big and elegant dragon.

One day woman was walking with Deng Long trough the village and heard people talking

,,Look there, it’s that woman…’’

,,Isn’t that the one who couldn’t have children…’’

,,I bet she stole someone's child…’’

,,Isn’t that Liao Xifeng, I thought she couldn’t have children…’’

Deng Long: ,,Don't worry mother, they are just jealous, let them be. I know I'm your child''

Liao Xifeng (man's wife):,,I know you know, I'm just worried. Because of me you don't have any friends.''

Deng Long: ,,NO! It's not because of you. If someone talks bad about my family I don't want them around me.''

Liao Xifeng:,,What a caring gentleman I have for son. You know I love you with all my heart, don't you?''

Deng Long: ,,I know. And I love you with all my heart too, mother.''

Liao Xifeng: ,,I know. Now let's go back home my little boy.''

Few hours later

Zheng Dong(man who found Deng Long): ,,I'm home.''

Deng Long: ,,FATHER! How was your day at work?''

Zheng Dong: ,,Hello my little boy, good, thank you for asking. How was your day, son?''

Deng Long: ,,Well...Some bad aunts were talking something bad about mother.'' Zheng Dong: ,,Liao Xifeng, is that true?''

Liao Xifeng nodded

Zheng Dong: sigh, Well, there's nothing we can do about that, just leave it be, it will stop with time.''

That night was like any other. They ate and went to sleep, but Deng Long was feeling weird. He felt like he had fever and his whole body was itching. After some time he finally fell asleep, but that weird feeling didn't go away. Instead it became stronger, and while he was sleeping someone entered his dream.

It was a DRAGON. Big black dragon was standing right in front of him. Dragon was staring at him and Deng Long felt like he is gonna pierce a hole in his body is he keeps staring at him like that.

Finally dragon spoke to him: ,,So you are Deng Long, I expected you to be bigger to be honest.''

Deng Lang was staring at him with terrified look on his face

Dragon: ,,Oh, sorry I didn't introduce myself, didn't I?''

Deng Lang nodded

Dragon: Well, khm, I'm Dragon Emperor Yi Qiu.''

Deng Long looked at him with a blank face and opened mouth

Yi Qiu: ,,Hahahaha, if I didn't know better I wouldn't even think you were my son.''

Now Deng Long was not only terrified but confused too.

He wanted to ask so many questions but in moment he wanted to ask his first question he woke up. He decided he will forget about that dream and not mention it to anyone. And that's exactly what he did, he forgot about it and didn't mention it to anyone for years.
