I , Adam smith (23 yrs old) , am assistant library manager of a local university. I’m quite conscious about being average as almost all of my close friend became quite successful in life. I’ve tried to embraced this harsh truth but it hurts every time i think about my life. After my college graduation my friends gradually started distancing themselves from me cause i was no longer of the same social status as they were. I was unemployed for 1 year which was not appreciated by my family who had great expectation from me. My father through his connection got me this job. When I think about where it went wrong , I would usually regret a lot about why I ended up wasting so much time playing video games ,watching tv shows and anime.

I should have used my precious time in productive and meaningful manner. Yesterday was my birthday and nobody apart from my parents remembered, I understood that only those who are successful are remembered and admired. Morning after my birthday I got ready to go work after taking a hot shower in my inexpensive rented apartment room. I can cook good food which I was very proud of, I ate my breakfast thoroughly and decided to head out.As usual my boring average life at work somehow passed.

While doing my inspecting duties before leaving for home after this tortuos day in the fiction section of library I came across an old thick novel with no title.The novel looked like any other normal novel at first but the moment I read the first word of the prologue chapter. I felt i heard a very strange creepy voice but ignored it to continue reading the novel. After reading the prologue of the novel i found it to be a novel that was based in a fantasy world filled with magic, monsters, dragons, demons, elves and dwarves. Name of this world was

“Aria”

This world consisted of three continent in which 5 different races resided – Naraka ( kingdom of demons), Drachendom ( kingdom of dragons ) and Edion where the rest of the three race resided . Kingdom of humans (fallmore) , kingdom of elves (alfheim) , kingdom of dwarves ( dwarvland ).

Demons and dragons both considered themselves to a race equal to the gods and were engaged in a never ending war for supermacy for more than 1000 years . They both found other species canon fodder and beneath oneself to even waste their time even looking at them. War of supermacy came to an end when the both species ended up on the verge of extinction and a peace treaty was signed by leaders of both races with the help of mana contract so no one can break the treaty. (treaty is supposed to last for 10 years).

Fallmore kingdom was the most poweful force on edion continent and was spread over 55% of the overall land. Elves resided in the mysterious alfheim forest in which only elves can navigate, which occupied 20% of the overall land . Dwarves resided in an advanced country with best technology , products and powerful merchants which occupied only 5% of edion’s land and rest of the land was called beastland, of which a large area still remained in mystery. Every year countless expeditions were made for vast riches one could find…

After reading the prologue I was eager to read this book. So I decide to take this book with me. I didn’t knew at that time the decision to take this book home would turn out be the turning point of my average life.
