The A.I. Tempest complied, and every ship of the Second Fleet had every weapon system on standby and charging.

''The Kaynians destroyed Atlantis. Let's do the same to their super capital.''

On cue, the Kaynian super capital was shown all across the terminal of each admiral and captain present on the Second Fleet. The Kaynian vessel in question was heading toward the A.F.E. fleet. The A.F.E. had the super capital outnumbered seven to one, but the admiral of the New Jersey had a trick on her sleeves.

[Fleet Admiral, Kaynian Super Capital bearing zero zero zero at one hundred twenty thousand kilometers from the fleet.]

Looking at the vessel responsible for the Atlantis destruction and the defense battlegroup. Sasha couldn't help but twitch an eye, knowing it was an obstacle the A.F.E. had to contend with.

The A.I. informed his superior as he readied New Jersey's hell cannon to fire and sent orders to the fleet. Handing the microphone to the Fleet Admiral, it was not time to open fire on the Kaynian vessels.

[Ma'am, hell cannons ready and awaiting your command.]

''Second Fleet, this is Fleet Admiral Sasha Zveroboy...''

''...Weapons free! Engage the Kaynian super capital!''

[Aye, admiral.]

Immediately, the Seocnd Fleet opened fire on the Kaynian dreadnought at multiple places instead of concentrating on one. The super-type hell cannons were the only weapon that the A.F.E. possessed that could realistically damage the energy shielding of the Kaynian super capital. However, due to the immense shielding of the Kaynian dreadnought, the hail of energy beams coming from the hell cannons of the Second Fleet was ignored as the super capital tanked the incoming hell cannon strikes. However, to those who are wondering why this wasn't the case during Sword and Shield's approach with their stealth ship, the Howling Knight was due to the Kaynian Arc giving the order to weaken the super capital's shield to allow the Ghost Team to enter, only to be caught off guard by a trap. This was because of the unknown motive of the stealth ship's operatives, that the Arc Betrayer had intentionally allowed them to crash land their stealth ship and wreak havoc across the Oblivion decks.

''Status of the Kaynian super capital?''

[Fleet Admiral, our hell cannon strikes have proven ineffective at shattering the energy shielding of the Kaynian super capital.]

Seeing as to how her fleet didn't manage to shatter the energy shield of the Kaynian super capital. Sasha directed her focus on the torpedos and drone craft. It usually takes sixty seconds to have them ready due to the number of drones and torpedos they have across the fleet.

''Launch our drones and torpedos.''

[Affirmative, admiral.]

On cue, thousands of drones were launched from the hangers of New Jersey alone, not surprising since the supercarrier could carry almost three thousand dronecraft. The rest of the fleet also launched with the UGS Lexington and Bunker Hill following up with the New Jersey. However, the two battle carriers couldn't match the number of drone craft being launched by the flagship of the Second Fleet. Meanwhile, noticing the capital ships launching their drone crafts, the cruisers, destroyers, and corvettes joined in. Unlike their larger counterparts, they could launch torpedos, which dealt massive damage with their nuclear warheads.

[Torpedos and drones away, admiral. Six minutes until they reach the super capital and its escorts.]

''...What about our hell cannon charge?''

[Fourty-five percent, admiral, fleet-wide.]

Tempest stated as he presented the current charge of the fleet's collective hell cannon before the admiral. And with the torpedos and drone crafts racing to meet their targets, the Kaynian super capital began to present its broadsides slowly. Sasha saw the massive ship turn and knew it was only a matter of time before her fleet was turned to dust.

''What's the status of the frigate escort of the super capital?''

[They're severely damaged. However, it seems that they are presenting their broadsides.]

''Have the anti-ship lasers of New Jersey fire on the first one. While the Lexington and Bunker Hill focus on the second frigate escort.''

[Very well, orders away, admiral.]

After sending the Fleet Admiral's orders, the Lexington and Bunker Hill immediately engaged the second frigate escort with their anti-ship lasers. The other frigate received a barrage of anti-ship laser fire from New Jersey. Although anti-ship lasers were created to counter smaller vessels, the amount of laser fire peppering the shields of the Kaynian frigates meant that they would falter and be defenseless against the laser barrage. The poor alien vessels would be overwhelmed, and their shields started to degrade dramatically. The frigate's shields shattered as New Jersey's potent anti-ship lasers barraged the alien ship. Explosions soon erupted from the broadside as one of the lasers struck an energy cannon, causing its energy line to explode. Seeing the events in real-time, Sasha couldn't help but be surprised at her ship's firepower. Although severely damaged, no ship besides the supercarrier could easily shatter its energy shielding.

[Kaynian frigate designation A destroyed, Fleet Admiral.]

''Good, direct New Jersey's anti-ship laser fire on the second.''

[Understood.]

Halting its fire on the already destroyed alien vessel. The supercarrier focused on the other Kaynian frigate escort and started pummeling its energy shield. Dwindling its shields to critical, causing an immediate shutdown of its defenses, including its shielding. Suddenly, the persisting alien frigate was subjected to brutal saturation fire coming from the three capital carriers of the Second Fleet. It wasn't long until the combined laser fire took down the frigate.

[Kaynian frigate designation B destroyed, Fleet Admiral. Only one Kaynian vessel remains.]

''Good, hell cannon charge?''

[Hundred percent charge, Fleet Admiral.]

''Open fire!''

Again, the Second Fleet fired another hell cannon strike at the Kaynian dreadnaught. However, unlike last time, the only extent of damage dealt by the A.F.E. warships was minor. The admiral clenched her fist into a ball as she realized their hell cannon strikes weren't causing any damage to the alien vessel. Meanwhile, the super capital slowly turned its broadsides at the A.F.E. fleet. The alien warship performed a drifting maneuver to increase speed and quickly point its weapons at its adversaries.

[Second hell cannon strike ineffective. No signs of damage or flickers spotted on the Kaynian super capital.]

Sasha's eyes widened as she realized her fleet's efforts would be for nothing, as the Kaynian ship didn't seem fazed by their second hell cannon strike. Just how durable was the energy shielding of the super capital, why were their attacks being ignored, and how much time was left before its broadsides opened up on the fleet?

[Fleet Admiral, our torpedos and drone craft will make contact in three, two, one...]

[...Multiple nuclear detonations on the Kaynian super capital detected.]

In a flash of light, several hundred nuclear explosions peppered the shielding of the alien vessel. The damage of the torpedos was significant enough that flickers were spotted by the A.I. of New Jersey, confirming that they were doing some semblance of damage, but only by a little. Seeing how the torpedos damaged the massive Kaynian vessel, the admiral's consciousness was given clarity, seeing how effective nuclear torpedos were against the super capital.

"Inform our cruisers, destroyers, and corvettes to fire all their torpedoes. We need to shatter its shields, but only when our firepower is concentrated on it!"

[Of course- warning energy energy build-up detected!]

''Put power priority on shields!''

Immediately, the Kaynian super capital turned its broadside on the A.F.E. fleet and charged its energy cannons. The signature red glow of the alien vessel began to emanate across its numerous energy cannons. Meanwhile, the A.F.E. prioritized its shielding to survive the incoming energy fire from the super capital.

[Placing shields at maximum output!]

Tempest declared as the rest of the fleet soon had their energy shielding to maximum strength. However, it wouldn't matter as the Kaynian super capital fired its energy cannons at the A.F.E. fleet. A bright light obstructed the vision of everyone present on the supercarrier's bridge. After the energy beams dissipated, the only A.F.E. warship remaining was the New Jersey. Red lights blurred across the bridge of the Second Fleet's flagship as multiple explosions rocked the supercarrier, and damage littered across its hull.

''Argh! Tempest! Status!''

[Fleet- Fleet Admiral, energy shielding- shielding destroyed, damage sustained on New- New Jersey's hull critical. Immediant, nano repair system underway.]

Orienting herself, Sasha checked her terminals and found the full extent of the damage sustained by New Jersey. Hull breaches, secondary explosions, and loss of life were all over her terminal's holo screen. Looking at her fleet's status, she found no relevant data from the rest of the Second Fleet.

''What of the fleet?''

[No signs- signs of any A.F.E. warships present- present, admiral...]

Hearing her X.O.s respond, Sasha Zveroboy was left dumbfounded at the firepower brought upon her fleet by the Kaynian super capital.

Amid the battle that had ended in their favor, the Arc Betrayer sat comfortably on his chair as he directed his commands to his Kaynian subordinates. Beside him, the recently healed Warmaster stood tall with his new prosthetics. While the Honor Guard Captain remained quiet, like the rest of the Honour Guard, they stood still near their Arc, ensuring his safety was paramount.

''My Arc, only one demon ship remains.''

A farer reported that the Arc Betrayer merely focused on his holo screen and saw the damaged hull of the New Jersey. The human fleet that had come to face his Class V Dreadnaught, Oblivion, had met their end. Leaving their colony, Eden, defenseless against the Arc Betrayer and his Arc Dominion.

''Hmm, Warmaster Kostas.''

''Yes, my Arc?''

''Prepare our troops for a ground invasion. Take hold of the capital of the human planet.''

''By your will, my Arc! I shall see to it that the demon race be eradicated!''

The Warmaster proclaimed as he stormed off to the teleportation chamber of the Oblivion and prepared the troops necessary for a successful ground invasion of the planet ahead of them.

''My Arc, what shall be done to the demon ship?''

Asked the farer in front of the Arc. Turning his gaze to the Kaynian farer who asked, the Arc Betrayer stood up and met the Kaynian in question face to face despite the height difference.

''Let it be. If I guess correctly, that ship must be the flagship of the fleet we have obliterated. It is now harmless. No need to exhaust our firepower at such a disabled vessel.''

The Arc responded as he gained a nod from his subordinate. Moving past the Kaynian farer, the Arc Betrayer focused on the planet in front. To think this world was the very thing that stands between him and the homeworld of the chosen of the Deities seems poetic. The humans had fought as voraciously as their creators intended, and they even destroyed the rest of his battle flotilla, which speaks volumes about their capacity for war.

''Have the Oblivion hover on the planet's atmosphere. My Warmaster will ensure the destruction of the humans present on this planet...''

''...My captain, stay here while I retire to my throne room. Inform me of any developments that may occur."

''Of course, my Arc.''

Turning around, the Arc Betrayer made his way out of the bridge and left the Honor Guard Captain authority over the operation being done. Smirking, the Kaynian Arc couldn't wait until his accursed twin brother and his corrupt Arc Imperium noticed the extinction of the human race that he was tasked to protect.

'In due time, my twin brother, you shall see the error of your ways.'
