*Purple leaves his house and then tries to exit the town, and upon attempting to exit the town someone gets in his way and says*

Wait, Purple! What do you think you're doing? It's dangerous to go out without a Pokemon! Wild Pokemon jump out of the grass on the way to the next town

Purple nods his head and walks over to the lab.

On his way, he sees a boy around his age peering through the window, and he walks up to the kid and hears the kid say,

"So this is the famous Elm Pokemon Lab..."

Hearing this, Purple gives the kid an inquisitive look, and the kid responds with, "What are you staring at?" and he pushes Purple away,

Purple is confused but doesn't want to pursue this situation any further, so he walks into the lab.

Prof Elm greets him immediately by saying,

"Purple! There you are! I needed to ask you a favour. I have an acquaintance called Mr Pokemon. He keeps finding weird things and raving about his discoveries,"

The professor sighs

"Anyway, I just got an e-mail from him saying that this time it's real. It is intriguing, but we're busy with our Pokemon research. Could you look into it for us?"

"And if you help us I'll give you a Pokemon for a partner. They're all rare Pokemon that we just found. Go on, pick one"
