Alone, stranded and not understanding where he was, Ray made his way through the woods of a location unknown to him. His life was turned upside down. Aside from the clothes on his back, nothing special to brag at, a simple grey shirt and black trouser pants, Ray held his pistol at the ready. It contained just a single shot.
When he first noticed where he was, somewhere completely different to what he was used to, he had made a stupid mistake and fired the pistol in his hand without even realising. It had attracted some kind of giant spider. The moment it saw Ray it charged right at him. Ray unloaded 4 of the remaining 5 bullets at it before it skidded to the ground in a pile of blood. He had felt some kind of tingling in his body, thinking more of these beasts could be around, he ran for it.

After about 2 hours of running and being absolutely exhausted, he came across a small stream of water, no bigger than 30cm wide and 10cm deep. Finally, some water. Ray bent over and splashed his hand in the stream. He felt the coolness running through his fingers. He cupped his hand and tasted that sweet fresh water.
Ray immediately realised he had made a mistake. The ‘water’ tasted nothing like it was supposed to. It was too sweet, almost like a bubbling soft drink down his throat, then the burning started, and the blackness. Ray faintly remembered hearing a voice…
