Ryder Kell sat in an office chair while fiddling with his hands. Mr. Lang one of his favorite teachers stared at his from across the desk while thinking. "Ryder what do you really want to do?" the man asked Ryder. "This is the tenth time you have asked this week sir" he responded. "While that is true school has ended and you have graduated, and I don't let many graduated students see me in my office. Do you know why I let you?" Mr. Lang said leaving the question open for Ryder to respond, "Because you just so happened to fall in love with me?" Ryder jokingly responded. Mr. Land sighed "Ryder you are a gifted man, and you have a future." he said. Ryder started to tune him out and stared at the window while thinking what he should have for dinner. "Ryder!" Mr. Lang raised his voice bringing him back to the conversation. "Hm" Ryder said. "You need to pay attention this is your future we are talking about." Mr. Lang said with a disappointed look on his face. "You know what I suggest you do Ryder?" he asked. "What does the all mighty Mr. Lang suggest" Ryder retorted. Mr. Lang ignored the snarky remark and continued. " Take a vacation around the world and look for things that interest you. You have spent your whole life in this small town, and you should explore." he said. As much as Ryder was disrespectful, he valued and respected the man Infront of him and agreed he should take a trip. "Okay I'll think about it." Ryder said while letting out a sigh. "Great" Mr. Lang responded with a smile and a cheery tone.
