Remy felt he was imagining things, he had read this in books but he couldn’t imagine it was true.

Suddenly, the ground started shaking and Remy knew what he needed to do. He ran down, grabbed a kitchen knife and ran to his basement. He turned around and locked the door behind him.

He turned around and came face to face with a cockroach that came to the height of his waist. He felt absolutely disgusted. A shiver ran down his spine. He had to fight that thing. He knew his knife would not do anything against that cockroach’s carapace. He saw his rake a few meters behind the cockroach.

The cockroach decided now was the time to act and leapt at him. As it came closer he jumped over onto its body and jumped again from the cockroach to the rake and grabbed it.

He distanced himself a bit away from it. It leapt at him again. While it was in air, he bent down and stabbed the rake at its underbelly. It splattered blood all over him. He threw the cockroach from his rake and breathed heavily. He turned to the side and promptly threw up. Suddenly words popped up in front of him

By the time he barricaded the door he was huffing and puffing even with his increased Endurance. With all the fighting and moving objects he was extremely tired so he went to bed.
