Book 1: Children of Vlahd
“You and your party arrive in Elwing. The cold and bitterness of the Fêrnôrish air nipping at your noses like a sharp blade digging deep into your skin--”
and then Bobby Boswell was cut off by Jackson Bryant. “Well, actually, my character has scales--” and then Jackson was cut off by Gary Slavinsky “You maybe wanna shut the fuck up when the keeper of keys is talking?” Gary gestured a pale hand to Bobby--Bobby took pride in that exact title of ‘The keeper of keys’
“He messed up my character's description so I had to correct him!” Jackson said sneering at Gary. This kind of thing always happened at sessions, little arguments--or outbursts of nerd. Rene had her arms crossed as she watched the exchange between nerds happen. She was a nerd as well--but she was more fashionable than Gary’s timbs and sweatpants combo that he always wore around. In fact, she had tons of bracelets on, as well as rings covering every finger on her hands, on her wrists were two XX tattoos, she obtained said tattoos from tattooing school. Her black nailpolish was always on as well, not a day went by that she wasn’t wearing that abyss colored nail polish. Flickering her sea green eyes across the table, she watched the two argue back and forth. They never saw Rene as a female, she was just someone who played Swords and Realms with them.
Bobby finally raised an overweight and blubbery hand above the table and let it fall, making an impact on the table. For Bobby, he couldn’t feel the stinging sensation when he slapped something like a table, it did however make people shut up. Gary and Jackson froze and slowly turned to look at Bobby, the blubbery Irish kid. Bobby was always this large, from age of two all the way to age sixteen. It’s just the way he was, it could be genetic but no one really knows. “Can we get back to our campaign now?” Bobby said gesturing to the small miniatures upon the detailed map. It was beautifully and well-made. With all sorts of mazes, and monsters strewn across it.

Gary Immediately cocked his head back to the paper, fixing his golden square framed glasses. Upon his sheet of paper was a hooded figure, with a rapier on his side. The figure had his back turned and his head turned looking at something or someone behind him. The cloak was made from wool, wool was extremely valuable in Swords and Realms. It was almost like a status saying: “I’m richer than you” His tunic was made out of regular cloth, but it had gold intertwined with the actual cloth. His boots--a shiny leather, like no one else had seen before. It was a crude drawing of what Gary’s character looked like but people still got the general sense that this was a kick ass character.
“As you arrive in the small village, It is completely empty. Except the tavern that is filled to the brim with people. What do you do?” Bobby looked between the three.
“I slowly make my way towards the bar, but in such a way that they cannot see me.” Gary said, shortly after he picked up a 20 sided dice. “Okay roll for stealth.” Bobby said, keeping his eye closely on the dice.
Gary rolled his dice in his hand before throwing it on the tabletop. 19. “Errrr….19?” He said looking up at Bobby.
“Well--you make your way across, as if you were completely silent. In fact you are silent, your footsteps aren’t heard in the snow covered ground.”
“Nice.” Gary said, keeping it short.
“I don’t go into the bar just yet.” Rene said, pausing shortly. “I investigate to see why they’re all in there.”
“It's pretty fuckin' obvious.” Gary said. Rene raised a single middle finger toward Gary.
Bobby shot his eyes over at Rene. “Roll for Investigation. And add your bonus.” Rene grabbed the dice with her metal covered hand and rolled the dice across the tabletop.
12. Plus her bonus so it was instead; 15. “Fifteen.” Rene uttered. “You can't seem to figure out why they're there, but you do see multiple footsteps leading from the forest.” Bobby nodded sage like.
