Please read the Pre-chapter author note. Thanks for all the support and comments! Remember, not every LitRPG book is the same or is copying off each other unless it's word for word plagarism.
I'll post the beginning of my re-written chapter 1 just for posting's sake so I can get this announcement up.

I love MMORPGs. My entire family loved MMORPGs. The very essence of our household was filled with MMORPG memorabilia, from games released in the ‘90s to the most recent VRMMORPGs used in 2050. It is 2051, my name is Zack Fitz, and I caused the greatest change to the massively played online game called SwordGate.
Swordgate was played by hundreds of millions of people around the world daily, if not billions. My entire family had VRPods. They were top of the line, all the time, due to my parents’ corporations in SwordGate. The currency of SwordGate had a 1:1 translation rate between worlds, so any money made in SwordGate was money made in real life, if you so chose. However, the rate at which money was given out in SwordGate for quests and the like, loot, etc, was way over-inflated, so people ended up getting a decent bit of money just by playing the game, not gathering materials or using the auction house in-game, etc, so it stimulated the real life economy very well, in my opinion. My family watched that kind of thing all the time. Of course, it could be a lot worse.
The world was broken down into three kinds of people: The Land-Dwellers, the ones who couldn’t afford a VRPod and/or used the VRPod Cafes; who worked the menial jobs, the Middle Class, which was where my family was located. Decently wealthy but straddling the line (but getting farther from it every day thanks to business smarts), and the Ultra-Rich, who had no worries about money whatsoever in their lives, period.

And so the world turns, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I was lucky to have such a blessed family, but as it turns out, my family was grooming me to become a very large player in the SwordGate world, and between their rival corporations, having the chance to take over one of them after one of them “left this world”.
And I don’t mean die, here. Well, I do, but not in the same “death” sense. I mean literally “leave this world”, as in “their mind entering the game forever as their character” kind of thing. It was happening a lot with the newer versions of the VRPods where the Sigma Studios’ servers were making imprints of people’s brains and directly translating them to the servers. I agree with the fact that that turns people into literally digital data and their lives are at the whim of a switch, but that’s their decision. But, that was their decision and not anyone else’s, even though there were groups who protested that sort of thing, a lot of the people this happened to had no say in it.
You see, after some time in the game, your brain was fully mapped by the VRPod that injected nanites into your bloodstream to map your brain. Infinitesimally small robots mapping people’s brains. And Sigma Studios made sure everyone knew this was happening to their bodies as well, but no one really cared, because the SwordGate Experience™, as they had trademarked the “phrase”, if you will. No company was as close to putting out something like SwordGate as Sigma Studios was, and they did it easily.
With society flailing around to play SwordGate and get rid of their jobs in real life, the costs of VRPods were lessening every year, and soon, the world would be encapsulated by SwordGate. But, for now, the masses wished to play SwordGate. Even “cafes” and specific living spaces were designated to be mass living spaces with tons of VRPods for people to contribute rent/bill money to. It was crazy how much money people were getting to create these cheap spaces for people to VRgame in.
The world would soon be dropped into chaos, but for now, it’s just people playing games.

This was just a rough draft of Chapter 1 and will be rewritten again, I'm not happy with it at all.
I look forward to everyone's support in the future.
