The young elf maiden observed Urki.
With short black hair, black eyes, sharp features, dressed in a military uniform adorned with lavender flowers, Urki could clearly discern who she was. Years of warfare had taught him much about the enemy.
Just as in the human world wealth and clothing determined one's social status, so did hair, eyes, and skin color define the status of elves.
The rose flower represented the Sero family, lavender represented the Dulavan family, chamomile represented the Matricia family, lily represented the Hemeroca family, mint represented the Lagerstrom family, peony represented the Paeonia family, and thorn represented the Prunus family.
These were the families that once ruled the elven territory, Urki thought in himself when he saw the emblem of the elf maiden.
But that was not important, what important was that Urki was different this time.
Instead of the cold, bloodthirsty, and destructive aura, Urki now exuded the aura of a composed man. With one hand, he closed the door, took two steps forward, while his eyes remained fixed on the elf maiden throughout.
A smile appeared on the elf maiden's face, her body language indicated surprise.
"Interesting," she said as she chuckled.
"Sit," she commanded.
Throughout whole time, Urki kept his fist clenched tightly in his pocket, tightening it whenever he felt his hatred about to surface. Following the elf's command felt like losing a part of himself, yet he tightened his fist even more until he broke a finger, then approached the chair and sat down.
The elf maiden stood all the while, asserting dominance, making declaration about superiority of elves over humans.
"Revelis Tamberi," she recited, holding her right hand upright while pulling out a piece of paper with the other.
A strange atmosphere filled the room.
Urki was one of the supreme magicians, yet he did not recognize the meaning of these words. A shiver ran down his spine.
"You are Dues Nifis, son of farmer, but for some reason you unexpectedly changed your job to became a miner," she said. "Every human know that being farmer is easier than being a miner, why u did that?" She asked, as her bore into Urki's, as if peering into his soul.
Panic momentarily seized Urki, but he was accustomed to much worse situations, so he quickly calmed himself. "Is this a trick question?" he thought to himself. "Why would I switch from being a farmer to a miner?" Urki replied enigmatically. Nothing came to him except for one thing.

"In the mine, there is a chance to get rich faster if you find a crystal with a high mana intensity," Urki defended himself.
The strange atmosphere filled the air.
The room glowed green.
At that moment, Urki went into defense mode, but the room soon returned to normal.
The elf maiden smiled even more, thinking to herself, what a quick reaction, as she saw young man who was looking like he was born yesterday switching in defense mode in instant.
The human boy piqued her interest even further.
"Have you ever witnessed a battle?" the elf maiden asked as she moved to stand behind Urki, or rather, behind his back.
Urki could no longer follow her with his eyes, so he looked up at the ceiling and replied, "No."
Again the strange atmosphere filled the air.
The room also glowed green again.
"Can you explain the incident in the mine?" she asked, this time with a tone of anger.
Urki looked around him, slowly realizing the nature of this magic , he wanted to test if his theory is right.
"I don't remember what happened there," he said.
The room glowed red.
This answer seemed to annoy the elf maiden, prompting her to take her moonblade and slice Urki's back—not deeply, but not lightly either, enough to cause pain but not to leave a scar.
"Can you explain the incident in the mine?" she asked again, now in an angry tone.
Urki understood what kind of magic this was. If the color turned green after his answer, it meant he was telling the truth, while red indicated the opposite.
"All right, so that's how it is," Urki said to himself as he felt the pain.
However, he couldn't tell the truth—that it was his aura—nor was he even sure if he dared to reveal that he knew about the existence of auras. His lies prepared in prison had all gone down the drain, unless... he said, maybe this will work... he was ready to gamble, to go all in.
"I felt strange power, but I don't know what was that," he said slowly, somewhat shyly.
The room glowed green.
What Urki gambled on was that the magic checked the truth of the body of person who owned it originally, not of the one inhabiting it, namely him.
And it worked.
For the next minute and a half, the elf maiden stood behind Urki without speaking.
Urki couldn't figure out what was happening. His senses were blocked, and he didn't know why the elf maiden wasn't speaking. Due to his position, his instinct screamed the whole time, so he had to break one more fingers to snap back into reality.
Then, the elf maiden quietly stepped into Urki's domain, whispering on his ear softly: "I've never seen a more interesting man," as she slowly put one hand over Urki's stomach and chest, massaging them gently. Her breasts pressed against Urki, just enough for him to feel them. Her other hand was on Urki's hair, playing with it.
Another feeling arose in Urki, one he had never experienced in his previous life. He had never had sex, which is why he broke the remaining three fingers on his hand to return to reality.
Her breathing became more intense, the sound of whispers and breaths mingled, "You will be sent to our Coffins combat unit," she began to kiss the young man's neck with her lips.
Her bites became stronger, as her breathing on one side of ear.
P E L E S, she whispered almost in satisfaction.
Darkness then fell upon Urki's eyes.
"Welcome fresh meat cherry", some dude woke me up with water.
