During nighttime in Altos City, there was a slim Hispanic woman named Lola who was putting her two daughters to sleep. Lola was 28 years old, with silky long chestnut hair, a light tan skin tone, and excellent proportions. She went back to her bed where she saw her husband was already asleep. She kissed him on the forehead and went to sleep herself. After a few minutes, she fell into a deep slumber.
She woke up after feeling the sun hitting her all over her body. When she opened her eyes, she realized she was no longer at home. Instead, she found herself under an overpass. As she looked down, she saw the body of an overweight white man. She tried to get up but struggled for a bit, not used to this new weight. Eventually, she managed to stand up, and a game-like screen popped up in front of her. She quickly glanced at it and noticed that it displayed information:

* Participants: 15/15
"Hello, my participants," Lola heard a deep and sinister voice inside her head. "I am the Demon known as Maxt. I have chosen the thirty of you for my amusement. As you have already noticed, you are inhabiting different bodies. I have swapped all of your bodies around. You have four hours in this replica of the area within an 800 meter radius of the mall. During this time, you can kill others, but suicide is not possible. You will find weapons and items; some of these items will allow you to switch bodies with other participants. If you die in this dream world, you will wake up in the body you died in in the real world. After the time is up, you will wake up in the real world in the body you are currently inhabiting. Remember, someone on this island is in your original body, and you can try to reclaim it or steal someone else's body and life for yourself. Now, let the game begin."
"What is this nightmare!?" Lola said, but she felt weird hearing a man's voice coming from her. "But, T=this feels too real to be a regular nightmare. If what the demon says is true, I must find an item to switch bodies and get my body back. I don't like this; there's a chance I'll lose my family and body. I wish I was given a female body at least."
Lola started walking towards the mall and after 5 minutes walking she started to feel tired, so she decided to rest in a nearby park she spotted. She found a handgun and picked it up with her sweaty hands. A window popped up in front of her.
* "YOU PICKED UP A HANDGUN, WOULD YOU LIKE TO EQUIP IT? (ONLY ONE WEAPON CAN BE EQUIPPED AT A TIME) Y/N"
Lola chose "yes," and her Status Window updated with the weapon. Lola heard some gunshots. With the Status Window still open it showed the participant count as "Participants: 12/15." Lola saw this and quickly took cover in the bushes. She started to look around and eventually spotted a young Chinese girl who looked to be around twenty years old. The girl had a gun, and her sailor suit was stained with blood. As Lola focused on the girl, a name tag appeared above her head, reading "Soul: Marcus, Body: Emily."
"I killed my old body. There's no way in hell I'll go back to being a homeless man," Marcus said aloud as he checked out his new body. "Whoever I killed in my old body will have a shitty life, but that doesn't have anything to do with me anymore. At least I'll have a do-over with this body. It'll be interesting going from a middle-aged man to a young woman."
After hearing what Marcus had done, Lola began to worry about what might happen to her if she met the original owner of the body she was currently inhabiting. After looking more towards Marcus in his new body Lola began to feel attracted to him. She would never have imagined feeling attracted to a female body, but her current body was starting to react to Marcus. Lola began to feel conflicted on one hand she felt uncomfortable on the other hand her new body, especially her new part, seemed to love the view. As Lola lost herself in her thoughts, she moved a bit and made a sound. Upon hearing something, Marcus put up his guard and gripped his gun. He aimed the gun towards Lola’s hiding spot.
“Whoever you are, get out of there!” Marcus said in an authoritative tone. “Put your hands up!!”
Lola became nervous knowing that if she got killed in this body, it will become her permanent body. She gripped her gun, came out of hiding, and aimed her gun towards Marcus. Upon seeing Lola, Marcus smirked. Both of them were staring down at each other assessing the situation.
“So, I can tell your name and your body’s name if I stare at you for long enough, eh?” Marcus said with a smile. “So do I call you Lola or Robert? I mean while in that body I should call you Robert, it fits more than Lola. Hahahah”
“SHUT UP, MARCUS!!!” Lola yelled. “I am Lola no matter what body I inhabit.”
“Well then, Lola!” Marcus said in a sarcastic tone. “But I am Emily now. I am going to claim this body and life for myself. You know I could kill you and trap you in that body.”

Marcus started to slowly move his finger towards the trigger. Upon seeing Marcus’s actions, Lola quickly shot her gun fearing being trapped in Robert’s body forever. The shot hit Marcus in the heart area.
“FUUUUUUUUCCCK! THIS HURTS LIKE A BITCH!” Marcus screamed as he touched where the bullet had hit him. Upon examining his hand, he saw it covered in blood and he smiled. “HAHAHAHAHAH! I have won. I might be suffering now! But once I wake up from this dream world, this body will belong to me! HAHAHAHA!”
“What have I done!?” Lola dropped her gun to the ground and Marcus fell to the ground still laughing.
“I thank you, Lola, for killing … me and allowing … me to keep this body!” Marcus said as he took out a box from his skirt pocket. “Here … as thanks … I give you … this …”
Marcus stopped moving and his body disappeared into particles only leaving behind the box. Lola picked up the box and a prompt appeared in front of her.
* "YOU PICKED UP A SWAPPING BOMB(A SWAPPING BOMB MAKES ALL PEOPLE IN THE EXPLOSION RADIUS RANDOMLY SWAP BODIES WITH EACH OTHER)"
Lola picked up her gun and then opened up her status screen to look at the updates.

“What have I done? Why did I do that?” Lola began to talk to herself as tears rolled down her cheek. “Emily can never get her body and life back after this. But I must do what I need to do to go back to my family even if I become a monster.”
Lola started once again on her way towards the mall. According to her calculations, she was about 300 meters away from the mall. She felt how out of shape Robert’s body was the more she walked. She missed her body, while not perfectly fit she could do more physical activity. As the mall came into her view, Lola noticed a muscular hispanic man only wearing shorts and sandals. She was familiar with who the man;s body belonged to. It belonged to one of husband’s friends, Edgar Prieto. The person in Edgar’s body started at Lola with a smirk. After a few moments of staring at each other Lola could see the name tag and it read “Soul: Josh, Body: Edgar”
“By your reaction, I can tell you’re familiar with this body.” Josh said as he pointed to himself with his right thumb. “Too bad it belongs to me now. I am tired of being an underweight out-of-shape guy. This is perfect, so just be in your way and ignore me.”
“I’ll do as you say, I never have liked Edgar anyways.” Lola responded. “He is a bad influence on my husband. Have you seen a Hispanic woman in her 30s around somewhere?”
“Sorry, the only women I saw were Asian and White both of them seem mid-20s. I overheard them saying they were looking for 3 other good bodies for their friends.” Josh said. “And then they were getting quite intimate with one another, so I just ran away before they noticed me. Oh! You have a gun. How about you kill me?”
“Excuse me!” Lola said. Lola’s male body also reacted to Josh telling her about the two women being intimate, her mind was now picturing this and she felt conflicted. She wanted to at least be in a female body because Robert’s body was starting to affect her mind.
“Just kill me, so no one else has a chance of taking it away from me.” Josh said. “I have something you would like. An item that lets you swap bodies with another participant when you whack them with it.”
Lola was shocked she didn’t know what to do. On the one hand she didn't want to kill someone, on the other hand that item sounded tempting. If she could use that item, she wouldn’t have to rely on the luck factor of the swapping bomb, if she found her body with a group of people.
“First give the item.” Lola said while grasping her gun tightly. “I want to make sure that is its effect.”
“But what guarantee do I have you won’t just take it and run away?” Josh said.
“Look at yourself. Do you think I can overpower or outrun you in this body?” Lola responded.
“You damn right.” Josh said. “I’m still not used being like this. But yeah, if you try anything funny I can kill you and trap you in that body forever.”
Josh took out the item, a red mallet and dropped to the ground next to him. Lola walked towards the mallet and picked it up, then a window appeared in front of her.
* YOU PICKED UP A SWAPPING MALLET(THIS ONE TIME USE ITEM ALLOWS THE USER SWAP BODIES WITH WHOEVER THEY WHACK WITH IT.)
After confirming what Josh said was real, Lola became happy. She started to question if killing Josh was right. She knew killing him would deprive Edgar of his body, but she never liked Edgar as she felt he was a bad influence for her husband. In a way letting Josh keep Edgar’s body would make sure Edgar’s influence was no more on her husband’s life. Lola's mind was made and she readied her gun and aimed at Josh.
“This will hurt a lot, Josh. Be ready.” Lola said as she prepared herself for her next action.
“I’ll endure it if it means keeping this body.” Josh responded. “Lola good luck getting your body back.”
Lola pulled the trigger. The bullet came out flying straight into Josh’s chest and it hit him. Blood started to come out of his injury and Josh started screaming. Lola fired a couple more shots.
“AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! THIS IS WORSE THAN EXPECTED!!!!” Josh shouted. “Thanks Lola!”
Lola watched in shock as Josh screamed. After a few moments, Josh stopped moving and his body dispersed into particles. Lola then opened her Status Window.

“Hello my dear participants!” Lola could hear Maxt’s voice inside her head once again. “It seems we are down to half the participants. I see some of you have been enjoying your new selves by yourselves and with others. Now you have 10 minutes to get to the mall or you will die. The rest of the game will be inside the mall. I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
“Alright, time to go to the mall!” Lola said to herself as she ran towards the mall off in the distance.
