In a palace situated in the Azure Tiger continent, a silver-haired young man was starting a fire.
Around him were the many treasures he had collected during his life, plants so rare that they would bloom only once per millenary, martial skills that would turn any practitioner into a killing machine.
Those were the price many people paid to have the chance of seeing his medical and alchemical skills.
“Hand over the Heavenly Wishful Seed!”
“If you hand it over with your research, we’ll spare you!”
Roars came from the outside as the young man was throwing everything he could in the fire.
Outside the castle, a small army formed the heads, elders and elite of the many different sects allied to obtain the seed. Not only that but even the godlike figure of centuries ago exited their closed training to come here.
The man possessed a treasure so rare and important that it shook the whole continent, even though only a few days passed since the information of the seed being in his possession was revealed.
I can easily recognize more than half of you, I saved your life and aided you in your cultivation and this is how you thank me? I prefer to chose death than giving you this seed.
The Heavenly Wishful Seed, a treasure that is said to contain the heart of the universe. Up to this day, the boy had searched for a way to refine the seed into a pill. Even him whose alchemical talent is said to be unrivaled even among the gods was unable to refine it. If one were to absorb its power, then he would became a dragon among the men which not even the gods would be able to stop.
But never did he expect that one of his servants would enter his room while he had decreed that they would be punished by death. The servant secretly sold the information about the seed to the many sects, but he didn’t predict that they would silence him.
The seed was something the young man had found one day in some strange ruins older than anything he had seen till this very day. It looked like a seed, but it was shining like a sapphire.
The young man took a small bottle out of his sleeve, it was the only thing he didn’t destroy.
“Lue Chu, hand over the seed!”
The door suddenly exploded and three men entered the room. They were the head of the four main sects of the Azure Tiger continent.
“If you hand over the seed, we might allow you to continue to refine it… For our use.”
A small smile formed on Lue Chu’s face as he listened to the men.
“You guys want the seed?... You want me to work as your slave to refine it?... Know your shame! I, Lue Chu will never be the slave of anyone, not even the heavens! I prefer death than being your dog!”
On those words, Lue Chu threw the seed in his mouth and drunk the content of the small bottle in his hand with a smile on his face.
“T-This is?! A Jade Soul-Bounding potion?! Are you trying to destroy your soul?!”
The man who had only once seen the potion in his life knew what Lue Chu was trying to do. The Jade Soul-Bounding potion is an alchemical potion made to fuse two souls.
Lue Chu didn’t have the strength to resist them. He dedicated his whole life to study alchemy and the secrets of the human body. His many experience still brought him to a high level without cultivating but compared to the heads of the four powerhouses of the continent, how could he resist?
“AHAHAHAHA. I shall take this seed you wish for in my death!”
Lue Chu felt his soul being torn apart by the power of the seed, the four men tried to pierce Lue Chu’s stomach to recover the seed, but to their surprise, the seed began to turn his body into dust.
The treasure was forever lost, as it fused with his soul, and now, Lue Chu was vanished and only his mad laughter could be heard, mocking them until he completely turned into dust.
* * *
The town of Xuen, an ordinary town located within the country of Wushan. The place was considered as a town, but it was about half larger than others town and was close to being called a city.
Hid beneath the black sky yet provided light from the stars, a strange person clad in a red cloak was slowly walking within the town. In this person’s arms, a little baby was sleeping.
The person was taking its time to walk, walking slower and slower as if that person didn’t wish to arrive at its destination.
Glancing right and left, after a few minutes of walking the person stopped and looked toward a certain house before walking toward it.
“Here should be good.”
Removing the cloak, the figure of a beautiful pure long silver haired woman could be seen. She only a little taller than regular women and her forms were truly attracting, not too big yet not too small.
But the most appealing thing was her visage. Her cherry lips seemed to be blossom soft and her perfectly sized nose gave her a certain elegance.
Coupled with her long pure silver hairs which reflected the light of the moon; the woman gave the impression of being a goddess who came down from the sky.
But the impression she gave was more of being a goddess of death than a loving one, this was due to her sharp deep bloodish red eyes. Her eyes seemed to be able to freeze any living being with a single glance and capture their souls.
Wrapped in a black dress with goldens broderies and simple golden necklace for accessory.
Carefully, the women slowly coated the sleeping baby with her deep red cloak and watched its sleeping face with warm yet angry eyes.
“I don’t have much time left…”
Her skin slowly turned to turn pale as her blood was dripping out of her body.

Taking out a strange small bottle made of an enigmatic metal reflecting a rainbow color with her left hand, the woman placed her right hand above the sleeping baby and started to mutter a few sentences.
A golden light suddenly rose from her hand and started to form a simple circle. Slightly cutting the palm of her hand, she drew a serie of strange writing on the circle. Once the circle done, it came down on the ground, with for center the baby.
The circle was really small, but its complexity wasn’t something that anyone could understand. Even the most knowledged formation user would have been unable to understand what those signs were or even what effect this formation would possess.
Opening the mysterious bottle with her left hand, a blue orb came out as the bottle crumbled into pieces by the woman’s hand.
The blue orb floated above the woman’s hand which she used to guide it left and right a few times before finally inside the baby’s body.
The orb slowly entered its body through the baby’s heart, making its little body shake as its strange aura forced its way in her middle dantian.
When the orb had totally merged with the dantian, the baby stopped shaking and remained limp.
“I truly wish for you not to walk on our path but live your life as a normal boy and find love like we did… However, if destiny force you to take weapons and fight, then may those gifts become your stairway to crush even the heavens.”
As she said those words, the silver-haired woman put her hand on her abdomen; where her lower dantian was situated and from it slowly forced a crimson red orb out.
Suddenly, the woman sprayed out a mouthful of blood as her face turned even paler than before. Making this strange orb had visibly gravely injured her, yet she only smiled as she guided the crimson orb into the baby’s lower dantian.
Contrary from which nothing could be felt, a ruthless and cold aura emanated from the red orb. When the orb finally entered the body, the baby’s body started to shiver and shake, waking up from its slumber and crying.
After a few seconds, the orb totally entered its body and merged with the baby’s lower dantian as a change happened to the baby; she stopped crying and instead looked at the woman with a hint of intelligence in its eyes.
The woman was at first very surprised from her child’s reaction, but as she understood what happened showed a warmful smile and kissed her forehead.
“I wish I would be able to watch you grow my child, but my has come and I can’t stay with you.” She said as she removed her golden necklace and put it around the baby’s neck.
“This necklace is our legacy for you, if one day you were to be forced to walk on the path of martial arts, then this necklace will guide you.”
*Kwiiiik* The sound of a door opening could be heard near the two of them, making the baby turn her head toward the source of this sound.
“Please live well… Lue Fen”
Within the second it took for the baby to turn her head, the woman had vanished as if she had never existed.
Seeing the woman he recognized as his mother vanish, Lue Fen started to loudly cry.
“This is…”
A surprised female voice was heard, it came from where the door was opened.
It was a beautiful young woman in her twenties with alluring blond hairs, pale skin and dazzling emerald eyes.
The young woman wasn’t near as beautiful as the silver-haired one, but she could still be considered as among the top rate in term of beauty.
Seeing the little baby in front of her, the woman couldn’t help but approach and examine him.
‘Please take care of Lue Fen’
Was written on the ground in front of the child, it was a message that the woman had left the moment she disappeared.
A clueless and hesitating expression could be seen on the woman’s face. She didn’t know anything about the baby’s origin and although it was extremely rare, it wasn’t uncommon for nobles or wanted person to leave their child behind as they would have no way to protect them.
But after seeing Lue Fen’s face and eyes staring at her, the woman finally resigned and decided to take her of him, sighing inwardly as she knew that anyway she wouldn’t have bear to leave this baby by itself after seeing him.
As she was carried inside the house, Lue Fen remained quiet just glanced left and right, as if he was curious. Looking at the diverse element within the small house the woman was living in.
It wasn’t a large house with only three rooms excluding the bathroom and toilet. A living room, a kitchen, and finally the bedroom.
In the bedroom were positioned two beds, a normal one place and a very small one for baby. The one place was obviously for the woman while in the second, a little girl which age looked extremely similar to Lue Fen was sleeping.
The girl’s blond hairs looked extremely similar to the woman’s ones and anyone could easily deduce the relation between the two.
“From now on, I will be your mother and this girl, Fenhe, will be your sister. Nice to meet you Lue Fen, or maybe I should call you Shu Fen now?” She said as she dropped him near Fenhe.
The moment Shu Fen was put beside Fenhe, the girl instantly grabbed his arm and even under Shu Fen’s attempt to shake her off, she didn’t release him the slightest.
“Hehe, it looks like she already likes you.”
After doing all his possible, Shu Fen finally gave up and endured being used as a hug pillow as he fell asleep.
Six years passed since that fateful day.
