Looking at the unfamiliar yet familar room, I can't help but feel at a loss. The last thing I remember... I was devoured. That Stage 25 zombie directly ignored my attacks and smashed my body to pieces before eating me. That is all I can remember. Yet, why can I even remember? I died, so why am I still living?
This room... It should be the room in my house from 10 years ago, but why am I here? Did I miss this place and in my last moments have a flashback of it? But, I wouldn't of had enough time to have a flashback in that situation, so what is happening right now...
Going back in time? Probable, but why would it happen? I wasn't the strongest person, I didn't have any special items or powers, so why would I be sent back in time? No, I still don't know if I was sent back in time or if this is just an illusion after my death. I was still confused when something appeared in front of my face.
Greetings to the Survivor from the Survival System. Earth is now going to be placed into an apocalypse, and the Survivors of Earth will all be given a Survival System that will allow humankind to have a chance of survival. The Survival System will allow the Survivors to obtain experience to increase their levels by killing zombies, which also grants points. Points can be used in the Shop function, where the Survivors can buy food, clothes and weapons. Each time a Survivor levels up, they will be given 2 Stat Points, which can be used to increase any of the 4 stats: Strength, Vitality, Agility and Perception. For every level, the required experience to level up will double. Every ten levels, the Survivor will Evolve, which will grant a bonus to their highest stat at the time, and the first time a Survivor Evolves will be the time that the Survivor's path of evolution will be chosen. Now then, the Survivor's will all be given a Tutorial in which they will attempt to survive a designated area that was temporarily created, which is infested with zombies. The longer the Survivor last's the better the rewards at the end will be. The rewards can also be increase by killing zombies. There are 5 minutes until the Tutorial begins, so take that time to prepare.
Looking at the familiar screen that appeared with the exact same words ten years ago, I can now be certain that I went back in time, but why? I am certain I didn't have anything special that would let me go back in time... Damn, there is no point in thinking about this now. I need to get a high score in this tutorial so that I can get a good reward. In my last life I only survived for 42 minutes and didn't even kill a single zombie, which made me only get a survival pack full of food and clothing along with a rusty and somewhat broken dagger, which didn't help much. I was lucky to live long enough in my last life.
Now on to the most important thing at the moment... Why the hell did my gender change?! I was most certainly a male in my last life, so why in all hell am I female now! A side effect of going back in time? Bullshit! Looking at my new female body within the mirror, a grimace slowly appeared on my face.

I was a bit shorter than in my last life, being merely 5'8, but I was also quite beautiful, which is bad. While my body wasn't the most developed, the chest was still on the larger side, along with my butt, which would be a great temptation to a male. My face is the worst part, being on par with some of the best female models before the apocalypse began, which is not anything good for an apocalypse.
I have seen too much in 10 years of the apocalypse, and females didn't have a good time. One day they could be fine within a small group consisting of both men and women, the next day all the women of the group would be ravished by the men. The apocalypse is a terrible place for a women, especially a beautiful one like I currently am.
Groaning to myself, I made a mental note to buy a basic mask that covers my face completely from the shop after the tutorial, as I would hopefully get some points for surviving a long time and killing zombies.
Checking the timer, I realize there is only another minute until I will be sent to the tutorial world, so I hurriedly left my room and rushed to the basement where I quickly grabbed a sturdy steel baseball bat. A few seconds after I grabbed the bat, I felt myself being teleported to the tutorial realm.
The Tutorial will last for exactly 3 hours. If you die in the Tutorial, you won't actually die in the real world, but your rewards will be greatly reduced. If you survive until the end of the 3 hours, you will obtain great rewards, and if you kill zombies during that time, the rewards will be increased greatly. Good luck and try your best to survive!
Exactly 3 hours, the same as my last life, which is good. Gripping the bat in my hand tightly, I begin jogging around the destroyed city I appeared in. Thankfully I am in the same spot as in my last life, so I somewhat know my way around the area I am currently in, which will help me in finding what I want.
After a few minutes of jogging around, I came across my first zombie. Already prepared for this, I burst towards the zombie with my greatest speed and directly smashed my bat atop of it's head, smashing it into pieces like a watermelon. A bit of blood splashed onto my body, but I didn't care about that as I was used to it.
I waste no time in bending down and searching the zombie, and sure enough, a sharp iron dagger was now in my hands. I didn't know about this in my lat life during the tutorial, but someone I was in a group with a short while after told me he obtained stuff from killing zombies, and he was indeed truthful.
Gripping the iron dagger, I felt more confident in lasting until the end. While the bat was a strong weapon, it didn't have a sharp piercing power like the dagger and could only smash things. In a narrow area, it would also be disadvantageous due to it's length. Unlike that, the dagger was much easier to use in a narrow area.
Looking at the 2 hours and 53 minutes remaining, a grin surfaced on my face, one of excitement. The apocalypse is a deadly place indeed, but it is also a great place for those with broken minds who love the thrill of life an death!
