Arriving in front of the house in the outskirt Kevin looked at the magical moment , the red sunhine bestowed the scene an unimagineable beauty .

The smell of food drifted into Kevins nose . Stepping into the house he could see Caro carrying a steaming pot to the garden .

After washing the hands Kevin stepped outside to find the rest of the party . Polishing his sword Mark grinned at Kevin and said : "How was the first time ?"

"Hahaha , i remember the time where you did your first monster hunt alone . That time you .... " laughed Mark .

"I don't think you have any right to make fun of anyboy when you cried and peed in your pants when you stept into the sewer ." interrupted En .

Embaressed Kevin sat down while the party gratulated him for his adventure baptism .

"Enough teased , lets eat . I think we are all hungry , especially Kevin ." smiled Adam .

Distributing the plates the party started to eat the delicious bread and stew .

While eating Adam said something which shocked Kevin .

"We will travel towards one of the major citys in one month ."

"Mikar or Kuja ?" asked Emilia while chewing her bread in an almost royal way .

"Definitely Kuja , Mikars noble discriminates beast man and the alliance . In their opinion the humans should be the overlord ." said Bogo in a despised tone .

"No , if we travel towards a major city we should go to the capital ." added Mark .

"Even if my big brother sometimes is an annoying idiot he does sometime make good decisions . I am too for the opinion we should go to the capital . They have huge dungeon connection to the underground ." said En after Marks opinion .

"At first i wanted to start in Kuja , but the capital is way better . The only problem is that the capital is far away compared to Kuja ." said Adam .

"Ehm , why do we even travel towards one major city ?" asked Kevin . Naturally he does know that people travel towards the city for ressources like better technology and work places . But this village has everything they need so why travel ?

"I think you now ask why not everybody hunts in dungeon . Because the wildness is not worse than the dungeons . You can level there , you can find precious ores and materials too . But a dungeon is more practical than the wilderness . You go into the dungeon and fight , and then go out and live without any worries in the citys since monsters don't come out from the dungeon ." explained Emilia .

Turning towards Kevin Adam said : "To make it short , dungeons are places where you can go into the danger but the danger can't come out . In the wilderness the danger is everywhere ."

"But once the dungeon core is destroyed , corrupted or wants to conquer humanitiy the monsters can leave the dungeons ." explained Emilia .

"Emilia is right , monster can leave the dungeon in the wild but the city dungeons always make a safety contract . The people will ensure safety for the dungeon core and the dungeon core won't invade the city ." said Caro .

"Eat up , we will train in this small city for a while . After all Kevin is still under leveled and we can grind our jobs here . Besides i heard they have a plain dungeon almost out of the city . What suprised me though is the fact that the dugeon boss is classified as 8-party boss level 40 . I think we should set our first goal to kill this dungeon boss and then travel towards the capital ." suggested Adam while grabbing another bread .

Everyone agreed . After eating the delicious stew and freshly baked bread of Caro Kevin leaned lied on his bed made out of straw .

"They are grinding their jobs or hunting ." replied Caro while making Lunch .

The friendly giant riant rushed around with Kevin . Naturally with ease , after all the speed of a human couldn't be compared with a rat running with normal speed .

Ignoring the system loot messages Kevin searched for more rats . He bought an inventory at the beginning . Even if he didn't know the maximum capacity it shouldn't be smaller than a huge warehouse .

Kevin continued to stab the giant rats while hoping for something stronger to appear . However he didn't got cocky , after all as a casual gamer he knew that being cocky could be the most fatal flaw in a fight . Understimating monster could lead one to gather more monster than one able to fight and thus the person will die .

One by one Kevin killed the rats . The friendly rat supported Kevin when there was more than one rat .

However Kevin only fought the rats one by one , he didn't dared to gather the aggro from many and use wider spear attack .
