The third battle took place. And immediately after it ended. Countless rounds after countless rounds, fights after fights. Battle after battle... Geniuses amongst Geniuses emerged continously. Almost as though welcoming the dawn of a New Era...

The Era of Prodigies... But that would be another talk for another day...

Instructor Relis had a bright smile on his face. His eyes taking a thorough look at each of the remaining five Progidies. Each one had bested countless Geniuses to reach this stage. Each one was a progidy that the Profound Martial House must focus on.

Each could be said to be Progidies amongst progidies, monsters in human form. But yet only one shall emerge as the true monster.

"Alright, we have reached this stage. And it wouldn't be nice if we don't raise the bar a little higher, or what do you say, you guys." Instructor Relis said with a sly smile, glancing at none other than the crowd.

"Raise the bar!!! Raise the bar!!!" The chants echoed out from amidst the crowd.

"Does he have some sort of ability that enables that or what." Fenix muttered with a narrowed gaze. He just couldn't understand how Instructor Relis was so great if not too great at motivating and raising one's morale to another level entirely...

"Alright. You five heard it all. I have reasons to believe only by raising the scale higher will you all perform to your utmost limits. Only then would you give it your all. Hence." Instructor Relis stopped momentarily for a second, as his grin only grew wider by the passing second.

Perfectly putting everyone's heart and consciousness on the line, just waiting, heart beating to hear what he had to say.

"Hence I have decided to gift a bone forging pill to anyone who can defeat either Lin Feng or Fenix."

'Bone Forging pill,the elder said it could save mon from her paralyzed state. It can surely easily heal her bones and make her healthy again.' Denizen, one of the five participants to have made it to the last stage had a determined look on his face.

Tears swelled within his eyes, he clenched his hands tightly.

"Mum don't worry. I will get this pill, no matter what I have to do to get it. I will get it..." He murmured in an inaudible voice.

Fenix had a smile on his face. He could understand that Instructor Relis was trying to make them utilize their full potential. But using both of them... That was truly nothing short of suicidal.

Lin Feng had a smug expression, as he shook his head slightly with a light smile spread across his face.

"Alright... Pick your cards. " Instructor Relis said with a bright smile.

Everyone immediately took their cards.

1st battle: Fenix VS Denizen

2nd Battle : Western Haven VS Lin Tao.

Lin Feng : Blank Card...

Fenix rolled his eyes upon seeing Lin Feng getting the blank card for the fifth time.

Lin Feng laughed upon seeing this.

"It isn't my fault for being too lucky right." He questioned with a puppy like expression.

"Hmph.. Lucky my ass." Fenix replied with a cold look, before jumping into the battle arena.

Immediately followed by Denizen.

Denizen had a determined expression on his face. His hands clenched tightly, as he breathed heavily continously. He had witnessed Fenix battles, and he knew if he wanted to win this battle. He would sure hell have to give it his all.

"The battle can now commence." Instructor Relis voice tore through the tensed atmosphere.

And immediately after he said that...

Fenix immediately moved, appearing right before Denizen. He threw out a fast and precise kick.

Denizen quickly raised his hands up, as the leg smashed against his arm with intense force that sent him reeling backward at a rapid speed.

And immediately after he struck, Fenix had a light smile on his face.

"Quite strong for a high 3rd stage practitioner. But still not enough." Fenix raised his hands into the air, beaconing for Denizen to attack.

Denizen had a narrowed pupil, as he suddenly pierced through the air. True essence oozed out of his body continously, the entire air seemed to have become denser from the intense pressure emanating from his body.

Booooom!!!!!

He punched out ferociously, his veins wriggled crazily, as true essence poured out of his arms with great vigor as the punch slammed onto Fenix raised arm.

Kaboooom!!!!!

A loud defeaning explosion resounded forth, the punch throwing Fenix a couple of feet backward as a wide grin appeared on his face.

Denizen seeing this opportunity, immediately moved.

Booooom!!!!!

The ground caved in, as he immediately tore through the air. He moved at a mind numbing and breathtaking speed. Appearing before Fenix who had yet to regain his balance and footing.

He threw out a devastating kick, the entire air whizzled violently. Fenix had a narrowed pupil, as the kick smashed against his legs which he had raised into the air to block the strike.

Boooooom!!!!!!!

Violent ripples undulated outwards,the entire air gave off a violent feeling. As dust got raised into the air, yet this didn't stop Fenix nor Denizen who immediately followed suit with a blinding overhead kick.

Fenix immediately did a backflip, successfully avoiding the strike. A look of surprise evident on his face...

Denizen had a bright smile on his face. Seeing himself inching closer to success... Inching closer to saving his mom.

This seemed to serve as the greatest fuel he could ever be given. His legs immediately left the ground at a breathtaking speed, a terrific pressure emanating forth from his body. True essence erupted forth from his body continously as he immediately appeared before Fenix.

Fenix had a cold look on his face.

"Hmph." He harrumphed cold, as he suddenly blitz through the air.

Appearing right behind Denizen, his legs tore through the air before smashing against Denizen's back with horrific might...

Denizen immediately got smashed into the ground, as he created countless gorges along his path. Blood dripped down his face continously, as he struggled to get onto his feet.

Fenix immediately arrived before him, his knee zooming right into Denizen's stomach.

Booooom!!!!!

Denizen had his pupils bulging wide, as he was sent smashing into the distance at a breathtaking and mind blowing speed...

Booommm!!!!!

Baaaang!!!!!

He continously rolled, slammed and smashed his head against the ground. His entire cloth brought to ruins... In tattered shape compared to their former vibrant state.

Blood dropped down from his head continously as he stood on both of his knees.

Fenix suddenly appeared before him with a cold look on his face.

A wild grin suddenly parted his lips.

"You really thought you could defeat me. Don't tell me you think you're living in some sort of fantasy world." Fenix laughed out loud continously.

Denizen with his bloodied eyes, blood dripping down continously from his head glanced at the floor as tears dripped down from his eyes continously.

"Mum, am sorry." He muttered, his eyes a bright red, blood dripping down from his eyes, blood oozed out of his body continously. He was surely in a miserable state right now...

Yet the only thing on his mind was the fact that he had failed his mother...

'Mum... Am sorry... Am sorry.' His eyes slowly lost their former Lustre, his eyes slowly lost its' vibrant confidence, his body slowly started losing its' vibrant aura...

Just when it seemed his martial will would be completely shattered.

A cold voice suddenly tore through the air.

"Hmph... So weak... Your martial will is even more petty and yet you still want to defeat me. Tsk... Weakling." Fenix spat out before he further added with a cold look on his face.

"Anyways, with this young lord being a merciful guy. I will give you a chance. You have three chances to defeat me. As for the pill, don't worry I will help you to keep it until then. Not that I needed it anyways." He paused for a second before he continued with a wide grin on his face.

"As I have said before, as for the pill, I don't mind holding onto it until those three chances are used up. Oh... And also, you only have a span of three months to do so.

Until then... You can fuck off!!!!"

Fenix showered his grace in his own way, and with a cold look on his face.

His knee smashed against Denizen's stomach. Denizen's pupil almost bulged out of his pupils from the intense force backing that strike as he was immediately sent flying through the air as he spat out a mouthful of blood as a result of the terrifying knee strike.

But instead of pain.. No, no... What was written all over his face was joy... Happiness.... A bright smile blossomed upon his face.

"Mom... I will get the pill for you. I will... I will get it no matter what it takes me."

He muttered lightly, before his eyes immediately got clouded as he suddenly lose vision of what was going on around him...
