Lydia turned pale at the thought of Marie. She could cut all ties with Karl and Maisy, but she couldn’t
with Marie.

"And Elena, she adores you too."

"He’s my father!" Lydia growled.
Karl said with a smile, "Nortel Group should be working with the Vesper Corporation now. If their
business goes smoothly, they may start a branch in Valenham in the future."
Nortel Group was one of the Henderson family’s businesses. It was a top corporation across the whole
country, let alone in Valenham.
Compared to Nortel Group, the current L Group was nothing.
"If you do anything to my father, you’ll regret it," Lydia growled through gritted teeth.
Leo said nothing, but judging from the indifferent look in his eyes, it wasn’t hard to tell which side he
had taken.
Now that Karl and Maisy had come, Lydia couldn’t go to work anymore, but let them in.
