"(Can't breathe! I can't breathe! Somebody! Anybody! Help me!)"
A young man in white clothes is gasping for air in his bed. Suddenly, with a desperate burst of effort, he finally rose up from lying in a supine position into a sitting one and took what seemed to be like his first breathe of air after such a long time. The man has blonde hair and blue eyes and looks to be about 21 years old. He is Napoleon Franz Joseph Charles Bonaparte, son of Emperor Napoleon I of the French Empire and Empress Marie Louise. He was supposed to be the Emperor of France and King of Rome but to his misfortune, his father was forced to abdicate (twice) and was imprisoned in St. Helena until his death, his mother married another man and bore him two children that he, the first child was unaware of and he himself was 'taken care of' by his Grandfather, Emperor Francis I, last Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and the first Emperor of Austria. Being the son of an upstart, he has only a few friends in the Austrian court and many people want him, the direct descendant of the tyrant from Corsica, to disappear.
"(What is this? I feel so weak. What happened to me? I only remember hearing an explosion, then saw a sea of fire and then I'm here.)"
He tried standing up and did so with much difficulty. After moving his atrophied body, he walked to the window and opened it, only to see a magnificent garden in front of him. He was awed by the sight and thought thag it wouldn't be inferior to a palace's garden.
"(Wait? Palace? This is pretty weird. Where am I?)"
He scrutinized his surroundings again and found out a few things. He saw musket-carrying soldiers patrol the garden. He searched for modern contraptions and found nothing of the sort. After some thought, he saw a thing that seems to pass as a mirror in this place and took a look at himself.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
"(Who is this handsome man that I see? From what I remember, this is not what I'm supposed to look like. And there is no place like this near the place I live in? Could it be that I was transmigrated, again?)"
Transmigrated he was, and not just on anywhere or anyone. He was transmigrated to the body of Napoleon II, or better known in Austria as Franz, Duke of Reichstadt, right on the day where he was supposed to die, July 22, 1832.
While he was looking around, a maid saw him looking at himself in the mirror. Surprised, the maid screamed and then ran to another place, presumably to inform her superior or something. Hearing the scream, he tried to stop the maid, but found that his vocal chords seemed to be unresponsive, maybe due to a long time of sickness.
After failing to call the maid, he calmly sat down in his bed, hoping that things shouldn't be bad at all since he was still alive. While waiting for people to come, he was rather surprised by what appeared in his vision.
"Congratulations to host for successful integration of the body. You are awarded 1000 renown and 21 stat points. Please say 'character' if you want to distribute your stat points."
"Character."
Once he finally said the word with difficulty, he saw multiple stuff in there that reminds him of the last game he played on the computer, riding and slashing eagle mod. Additionally, he saw another entry in the character sheet, a plug in that was sent to him by a friend of his. Super troops.exe. It's a plug in made by his friend that increases the number of troops the player commands by using officer units, while also increasing the individual soldier's stats, skills, proficiencies to the absolute peak that can be reached by the player. Moreover, it introduces a buff system for troops and strengthens the personal equipment of each soldier to overpowered levels. In fact, Napoleon never did need any plug in, but he installed this one just to stop his friend from pestering him about it anymore.
