Chapter 3: PSE

Chapter 3: PSE

The next class i had to go to was the PSE, me being the curious sort was wondering what it stood for, and it turns out it's just an extension of PE with the S being soseta's. As a craftsman I don't really need battle experience, but it's good to try to have a subclass for defending myself. The old me's subclass I assume was gunner based on the only two soseta's she made, but I plan on being more of support if it ever comes down to it.

Each class is versatile, and you could take a subclass, but only twice per year, which could be considered odd, but they game was meant to be adaptable like that, so each player could figure out there own style in time after playing through the classes. Luckily I still had one subclass change left, but I decided to go through the classes again just to make sure what I wanted.

Gunner(Subclass):

Consists of shooting and shooting techniques, various different ways from guns to magic, anything that can be shot, is shot by a gunner.

Shooting Related Skills

Melee:

Consists of Melee attacks such as Swords, Axes, Hammers, and other Melee weapons. Is typically a merge class of anything that can be wielded is included in this group.

Melee Combat Related Skills

Brawler:

Consists of fist techniques and martial arts, this group is a close range battle about getting up close and fighting hand to hand.

Close Range Combat Related Skills

Support:

Consists of the wider spectrum of the first three though not as potent, Support are adaptable, from healers to psychics, support is home to the unique and interesting of the classes, though they are usually support related and have little combat capabilities themselves.

Most Adaptable Subclass

Craftsman(Main Class):

The craftsman is the weakest of the lot, but is the basis to all 4. The craftsman is dedicated to crafting Soseta's, but is the hardest class to master, many great craftsman still have difficulty in the craft.

Crafting Related Skills

I pause, as the old me's choice was pretty good, being a Gunner would best suit my needs for damage and long range was pretty safe, but I wanted an adaptable subclass so I still decided to go ahead and change it, though it would have been a lie if I didn't say Melee sounded cool. Selecting Support I finally make my decision.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

Do you want to confirm [Support] as your Subclass?

Confirm.

New Class is:

Level 1 (Main Class) Craftsman

Level N/A (Sub Class) Support

Now I have the freedom to be whatever can think of! though I would be lying if I didn't think melee would be interesting, but I prefer this anyway. its time for PSE class, each person has to sort into a line for their main class, I walk to a line with only 4 other people, and yeah I kinda knew Craftsman was a minority at a battle highschool, but not this small! I make some small talk with the people around me, but many of them just answer briefly being nervous and fidgety. I have no idea what everyone is so worried about, thinking back to my old world I was alright at PE, not my favorite class, but I was pretty athletic, enough to not fail at least.

Soon I see our coach, or at least I think it's our coach. A man with a ruffled shirt and pants he had to pull up every once and a while rushes toward us, he looks totally not ready, and I see as the rest of the craftsman students sigh in relief. Who is he and why is everyone so relieved?

"H-hey s-students, I am M-Mr. Felix Walker, you field craftsman teacher." He stutters a little, completely out of breath.

"T-today we will be w-working on movement e-embroidery."

Movement Embroidery? That sounds really weird. The other students around me groan. I suppose it must be hard then.

"Y-you will move as f-fast as you can while im-improving a practice soseta."

Oh that indeed sounds hard, I've only embroidered walking before, I know that sounds really weird to say that I've done that but It was similar to how people were on their phones walking, that sort of multitasking. Mr. Walker starts to hand out some white socks plain white with a dull description from ARI.

"N-now Begin!" Mr. Walker Shouts

Everyone starts walking with the cybernetic needle, slowly embroidering stripes. I kinda look at them in wonder, although i can get how hard it is but once you get the hang of it isn't it easy? I begin jogging and moving the needle in and out making sort of a plaid looking soseta as I finsh first to the end of the field a little out of breath with achy hands. Checking the description from the ARI I nod as I had gotten exactly what I thought I'd get.

Gate Green:

A plaid soseta of dark green, with some spike images on it

Type: Support(Psychic)

Spiked Gate:

Put up a thin gate with spikes that act like barbed wire, can fire off a spike in the direction the spikes are facing.

When everyone else was done I saw that they had made ones simular to the one I saw this morning, Beginner Blue's with gun skills.

"Done! E-everyone can take their soseta's home if they'd like, and that c-completes today's lesson!" Mr. Walker announced a bit out of breath running to catch up to the end of the field.

Given the context clues I can see I have only been going to school for 2 days, and the old me was horrible at Soseta crafting from that weird lime color, and the other soseta was crafted in this class. I push open the door and walk down the hallway watching as everyone walks home from this uneventful school day, some people already forming friend groups. I don't plan on having to many friends as i am mentally older then them, but it wouldn't hurt to make a few with mature ones.

Walking into my house I get inside and lock the door behind me, sliding down the edge of the door I sigh still slightly shocked about school and this new world. I slowly walk into my knitting room, wondering if that's tghe same, or how much of it has changed.
