This time he saw what did it, it was a light rod that came from the sky that when it hit something, it explodes, killing dozens of his men in a blink of an eye. And then he saw the things that were marching but the only thing he saw was a green tint and then darkness. Pondour was shot by a sniper.
Everyone eyes widen, but they didnt have time to even look at his dead body as more explosions happened, killing a dozens more of them again, and then they saw the beast that was marching and making the ground shake.
A giant green elephants in a wierd shape with a straight long nose appeared, and then its nose exploded and another explosion happened, killing a dozen more of our troops. Its a cannon, all of our archers desperately aimed at the elephant and shot it, some our cavalry charged at it but all of it our arrows just bounced off and our cavalry's spears just broke and fell off from the horses, some were fast enough to run away while others not so much as there as bodies gets crushed by its long flexible feet and with its weight, painfully and slowly killing them until only a few remaining parts and a blood pool only remained. A weird sound and long rods of light came from the back of the green long nose elephant, and then all of our wyverns started to get teared to shreds by the long rods of light, some also exploded by some iron arrows, some tried to dodge it but it only followed its every move, like a sentient stalker, every wyvern was either exploding of getting shot at until only 1 left remained. First was a also another steel beasts that had 2 short noses but was smaller and faster and had a weird box on the side of it, it also had more of those green long nose metal elephant, a horseless metal carriage that had a black staff on top of it, and then another one of those horseless carriage that had long metal rods behind its back, and then another steel beasts that has a ridiculously long nose, and then we saw the soldiers, all of the soldiers wore this green colored clothes that had different types of color, each had backpacks which means that they are a very wealthy nation, and a weird vest with long pockets, some also had masks on, they also didnt wore any armor. But before he could even finish looking at the soldiers, one of the soldiers rised his black staff to him. And then darkness, he was shot by a LAR-82.
Everyone was frozen, no one could move. How can any army kill an entire battalion of wyverns without having casualties. Everyone felt dread, hopelesness, and fear. The things that they were supposed to use against there enemies but they were the ones that are in the receiving end of it, but they didnt even have time to eat it up as more explosions happened that made everyone came back to their senses, they started to run but smaller light rods came and took us down one by one, piercing our metal armor like it was paper, some of the light came from the green soldiers, others were in the forest, it came from every sides, some like the cavalry got desperate and just charged the enemy but was immediately shot down, As everyone now knew that escaping was futile, everyone started to raise there hands. Some kept running but was immediately hit in the head with light rods.
And then one of the soldiers in the front stopped moving and raised his fist, one of the soldiers grabs a green box and then all of the green giant elephants and soldiers stopped moving, and then the green soldier in the front shouted:

Knowing that if they let the ship follow it to port and lay waste to the port, they let it shoot them until air support could arrive, since its the only option they have. They also cant surrender yet since there wyverns might be there only trump card. A giant grey ship with 1 small cannons that can shoot faster, further and can destroy a flagship with only one shot and never miss, it can also move faster than a flagship or even a fishing boat even while firing. A ship like this can only be thought of on imaginations but its now true, and they are fighting it, a fight that they can never win. Finally, 200 wyverns arrived. They soon charged the grey ship, thinking it was on easy prey that cannot fire off from the sky. The last remaining wyverns falls down anticlimacticly. Breweye's jaw was dropped, 200 wyverns were easily defeated by one ship. Something that Kua toine or Louria could never achieve.
Breweye was at first skeptical. Why would they only bring 7 ships and have only one participate in battle, the admiral did say that there will be another ship if this ship, that they call a "destroyer", is having problems or if it run out of ammunition, they also planned to attack the port afterwards and rescue the remaining sailors if they surrendered.
