Deep in the jungles of northern Siam, a hermit was meditating, he soon felt a presence."Who are you, and state your reason of visit" the hermit said. "It's me Kieaw" a teenage boy responded. "Ah ok, so, why are you here?" the hermit asked back, "Oh well, I wanted to tell you something" Kieaw said, "Well, go on" he responded, "So you know how my dad's in the navy?" the boy said, "Yes" "Well, he just sent a telegram telling us about some recent encounters about a new nation, heres the thing though, the nation claims to be from somewhere that isn't in our world, here he even drew a rough sketch of the map on of the crew memebers had." The boy then pulled out a piece of paper.

Rough sketch from the boy's dad
"Well, this certainly isn't our world" the hermit responded, "So, why are you telling me this?" he asked. "Well, I have a theory, my theory is that we got transported to another world, so, I wanted you to check if we're in the same world or not." The boy responded, "Such spell does not exist, but one can compensate with the spell of checking magical beings" the hermit responded. Soon he started chanting, after a few moments the chanting stopped. "Whats wrong" the boy asked, "Nothing is, I have finished the spell, and can conclude that we are infact, in another world." The boy didn't know how to respond, so he just said thanks and left. Later that day, he sent a telegram to his dad about his events today.
A few days later
Navy Barracks, Bangkok
"Yo, Daeng, wanna head to the local temple?" A fellow soldier said to Daeng, "Ah well, whats the occasion?" Daeng responded, "Oh nothing much, I just had the urge to go, like a vibe or something." The soldier said nonchalantly, "Oh ok, sure, lemme just finish reading this telegram first then." He gestured towards a piece of paper
After a few moments, they both change to their civilian attires and headed down to the local port, it was buzzing with people, some heading to the market to get fresh food, others are likewise heading to the temple, finally a break of the stress of the military life, soon, the ferry arrived, chugging with all its might, it came to a stop, people rushed about, getting on and getting off, after with a bit of strugling, and squeezing through a few people they finally got on, a few seconds later the ferry whistled and roared back to life, chugging, the duo, then went to a find a seat and sat down. They've decided to head to the local market first, to buy offerings for the monks.
At the market, they walked around, buying rice, dried foods, candles, soaps, among other things to offer to the monks, after checking that everything has been bought, they walked over to the temple, a short walk away.
At the temple
As soon as they stepped into the temple grounds, the smell of incense immediately filled their noses, followed by the chants and prayers of the monks [https://img.wattpad.com/3b8e74186fa2c47d12694414af19cfab8608c301/68747470733a2f2f73332e616d617a6f6e6177732e636f6d2f776174747061642d6d656469612d736572766963652f53746f7279496d6167652f4b73536d516a614c705248324a773d3d2d313431353233333436352e313761643966663061386563323038643730363133373631373436362e6a7067?s=fit&w=1280&h=1280]
As soon as they stepped into the temple grounds, the smell of incense immediately filled their noses, followed by the chants and prayers of the monks. Daeng then approached the incense vendor "Auntie, how much for a set of incense?" Daeng asked, "It's 1 baht per set, dear" the vendor responded. "Ah, then give me 2 sets", Daeng then paid, picked up the 2 sets and left. "Yo dude, heres your incense" Daeng shouted, "Thanks my guy" his friend replied as they head into the main temple hall.
In the main temple hall, they both knelt down, and put their of to the side. Soon, a few people joined them when the monks gilded in an orange robe entered the room, after the monks sat down in their spots, the prayer started, Daeng being the type to look around while praying, noticed something odd... like a glowing border around everyone, he noticed some sort of aura, something he had never seen before, he had been to this exact temple many times as a child, listening to the same prayers, but had never seen any sort of aura, with him seeing this he decided to- "pst- hey" someone whispered from behind "hey you seeing this?" it was a man, an average looking one who whispered to him, "the aura? yeah me too" Daeng whispered, "Ah, so its not just me then" the man replied, he then went back to praying, Daeng then turned to his friend "pst- pst- hey dude" Daeng whispered, "what" his friend, a more religious person whispered, with a slightly upset tone, "the auras, you seeing them?" Daeng asked, "what aur-" his friend, couldn't even finish the question when he opened one of his eyes, "WHAT THE HELL-" his friend shouted, the monks, being frightened by the sudden loud noise, as soon as they stopped praying the auras went away. Being confused, embarrassed, panicked, he quickly sat down. The monks, thinking nothing, continued the prayer

"Bro, I thinking randomly shouting "What the hell"in a temple during a prayer, isn't a good idea" Daeng said to his friend sarcasticaly, "Well, what did you expect me to do" his friend asked back, "well, uh, maybe NOT SHOUT WHAT THE HELL during prayers???" Daeng replied, "Ah got it, thanks dude" the friend replied.
On their way back, they walked past a group of students fighting, they first thought nothing of it, dismissing it as student banter, until Daeng spotted... what seems to be a floating chair kamikaze-ing into the other students, confused, he did a double take and stopped in his tracks, then suddenly, he saw student who, was earlier chanting a spell vanish into thin air, the other side of students quickly caught, quickly retreated in fear. Daeng, quickly caught on to the fact that "Magic", once just a tall tale to tell kids, seems to be real, with this revalation, he quickly returned to the barracks.
Back at the barracks, Daeng quickly rummaged through his stuff trying to find a book his mother gave him before joining military service. Amongst the items, he found a dusty book titled "Spells." Blowing off the dust, he opened the aged pages, revealing a world of arcane knowledge.
Then, something in the book caught his eye, the invisibility spell, the same spell he saw earlier, with haste he quickly tried out the spell.
"Surrounded by all, all can't find all, all walk past, no findings, Buddha, Bang Chakkhu, Ma'u, I don't see Itauku Dhammaṃ bangakkhu ma'au, I don't see itāku Sanghaṃ, block the chakkhu, ma'au, do not see ituagu Ghatesit ahaṅpittaṃ nachanami jora jova jova parayanti"
Magic then filled the surrounding air, he then vanished, to make sure the spell is real, he went over to his friend, and decided to be a bit devious. "I like yo cut, G" Daeng shouted, before giving his friend a hard slap on the head, his friend, feeling the slap looked around, trying to find the culprit. "Yo dude" he said to another fellow soldier. "Yeah?" he replied. "Didya see who slapped me?" Daeng's friend asked. "No? You trippin or something?" the fellow soldier asked. Daeng's friend thought nothing of it and continued like normal.
After checking that, magic, does infact work. Daeng chanted the spell again to revert back. After reverting back, he quickly sat down and wrote a full page report on magic, and the events that happened today to give to his superiors.
Schneselhagen, Empire of Giad
It was a brisk cool morning, Emperor Sturmgeschütz the III was enjoying breakfast with his family, until the butler entered the room. "Your majesty, a messenger came in to report, he said it is an urgent matter." the butler spoke. "What urgent matter is there to report this early in the morning" the emperor responded in frustration. "I can't even enjoy breakfast in peace" he muttered to himself. "Tell the messenger to wait in the meeting room, I'll be over in a few" the emperor ordered. "Right away sir" the butler replied. Emperor Sturmgeschütz then spedran eating breakfast, quickly put on something formal and headed to the meeting room.
At the meeting room, the emperor saw the messenger sitting on the opposite side of the table. "YOUR MAJESTY!" he shouted before quickly standing up and giving the emperor a salute. "Calm down, Calm down" emperor Sturmgeschütz replied. "Tell me what happened slowly." the emperor said. "The Feldreß has reported that they made contact with a nation called "Siam" where the Kingdom of Giraya used to be." the messenger reported. "Wait, what to you mean by "used to be"?" the emperor asked. "According to the Feldreß, the Kingdom of Giraya seemed to have been replaced by this "Siam" nation, and here's the official report sent in by the Feldreß." The messenger replied half-confidently before handing the emperor a folder containing all the information gathered by the Feldreß on Siam. "Thank you very much for the report, you are free to leave" the emperor said in a calm and friendly tone to the messenger. Soon they both left room. "Siam huh, this is interesting" emperor Sturmgeschütz muttered to himself as he walked to his study.
After sitting down and reading the report. "Technology level seems to be between us and the Zealandians."He said to himself. "I should report this to the CoEN*" He thought. "Hey Hans" the emperor shouted for his butler. "Can you go copy a few sets of the report with the magic copier?" the emperor ordered. "Very well, sir" Hans responded before leaving the room. Soon he returned with 5 more sets of the same report. The emperor took one, and made a few notes. After, extensively studying the report, he decided to write an official letter to Siam. The letter stated the emperor's desire to visit and obtain official relationships with Siam. After he finished, he mailed the letter to Siam, and the other 5 reports to the leading countries of CoEN.
*Council of Elite Nations
Soon, the letter arrived in Siam, and after a few discussions, meetings, arguments, they finally arranged for Emperor Sturmgeschütz the III and his diplomatic team to visit, they soon sent a letter in response, stating how they're happy to finally obtain a diplomatic relationship with the Empire of Giad, and the general agenda. After a few more back and forths, they finally setteled on a date, 26th september.

5 Ironclad ships steamed full ahead, the Giadians are here. Soon, they were accompanied by Siamese ships as to lead them to Bangkok. The emperor, standing on the deck of the "Reginleif" Giad's flagship."So this is Bangkok" the emperor exclaimed. "No wonder it says that "Siam"resembles Nadhikum, I mean... look at all those temples and them water houses." the emperor said to himself.
After a while of sailing through the winding rivers, they finally anchored and moored at Bangkok port. There, they were greeted by Prasert and his groups of diplomat."Ferdinand, Head diplomat of The Empire of Giad." The head diplomat said, whilst putting his hand out for a handshake. Prasert accepted and responded, "Prasert, Head diplomat of The Kingdom of Siam.". "Say, we've never seen your nation like yours before." Ferdinand asked. "Well, same here, but I think we better talk in a place thats a bit more private." Prasert said. Soon, a line of cars arrived to pick them up, Ferdinand, who has never seen something akin to a car decided to ask, "Say, are those horseless carriages?" "Well, to put it in a way, yes, albeit we call them a car." Prasert responded whilst walking towards the lead car, Ferdinand followed. After they got on, Ferdinand continued conversation. "So, what are these "Cars" powered by? magic?" The diplomat asked curiously. "Well, we don't use magic here in Siam, not that we can't we've got multiple reports coming in about magic, its a bit more complicated." Prasert responded. "Would you care to elaborate?" Ferdinand asked, wanting to know more. "Well you see, we still don't know why yet, but, before making contact with you guys, we couldn't use magic. I don't know how to put it really." Prasert explained. After a short while of chatting, they arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they'll be holding all the discussions from now on.
